RACE REPORTS

UBET – DOWNLOAD THE APP MAIDEN HEAT 1 520M KLOMPUS began awkwardly and lost ground. Shortly after the start RENALD’S RIVALRY was tightened for room and hampered. BRIGHT SATELLITE was best to begin. Approaching the winning post on the 1^st occasion SOME CHARGER was tightened for room and hampered. Through the turn into the back straight BRIGHT SATELLITE checked out across the heels of WHOOP BANG. Out of the back straight into the turn BRIGHT SATELLITE and DOLLAR AND CENT collided resulting in both runners being forced out wide on the track and losing ground. In the front straight SOME CHARGER checked out across the heels of BRIGHT SATELLITE. The greyhound DOLLAR AND CENT underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near fore wrist and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN HEAT 2 520M ARDEN STREET began awkwardly and lost ground. LIKA BREWSKY was best to begin. Approaching the 1^st turn MAD GIRL was tightened for room and lost ground. Shortly after ARDEN STREET and GEAR UP collided resulting in both runners being checked. Out of the turn into the back straight GEAR UP was tightened for room and hampered. JACOBY RAIDER raced wide in the back and front straights.

3.	TWITTER @ BRISGREYS MAIDEN HEAT 3 520M Shortly after the start RUMBLE DRIVE, VALERIE MERLE and RALPHONIC were all tightened for room and checked. PORT LISA which was trailing collided with RUMBLE DRIVE and was checked. On entering the 1^st turn RALPHONIC shifted in and collided with VALERIE MERLE resulting in that runner being checked. Shortly after RUMBLE DRIVE checked out across the heels of MINNIE MARTINI. Through the turn into the back straight MINNIE MARTINI and ONE DOLLAR bumped. Out of the turn into the back straight RUMBLE DRIVE checked out across the heels of ONE DOLLAR and continued to shift out and collided with MINNIR MARTINI, resulting in that runner almost falling and RUMBLE DRIVE being checked and forced out wider on the track. The greyhound RUMBLE DRIVE underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound MINNIE MARTINI underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

4.	GLEN GALLON @ STUD NOVICE 520M LIL’S ROSE was best to begin. MADAM LOOPSY was slow to begin. Shortly after the start FABULOUS LENY, REINHOLD and SHEZ A SONG all collided and were checked. Approaching the winning post FERNLEE STAR was tightened for room and checked. Shortly after LIL’S ROSE was tightened for room and checked. REINHOLD and FABULOUS LENY which were trailing were checked and shifted out wider on the track taking FERNLEE STAR and SHEZ A SONG out wider on the track as a result. Out of the back straight into the turn FERNLEE STAR and FABULOUS LENY collided resulting in both runners being checked and forced out wider on the track. LIL’S ROSE and SHEZ A SONG raced wide in the back straight. FERNLEE STAR raced wide in the front straight.

SKY RACING 0 – 3 WINS 600M ALPHA NIKE was best to begin. BUSH SPIRIT, LITTLE SHORT and RHYTHMIC CRUISER were slow to begin. Out of the 1^st turn into the front straight LITTLE SHORT and RHYTHMIC CRUISER collided resulting in LITTLE SHORT losing ground. Through the turn into the front straight BUSH SPIRIT shifted out forcing ARE YOU THERE out wide on the track. I’M OUTTA HERE raced wide in the back straight. ARE YOU THERE raced wide in the front straight.

Approaching the winning post ZAFONIC DANCER was tightened of room and hampered. Shortly after GORILLA EYES was tightened for room and hampered. On entering the 1^st turn HARA’S BLAZE and SMASHNIAK MARCY bumped. ZAFONIC DANCER and SUNNYSIDE JAY raced wide in the back and front straight.

7.	SULZANTI @ STUD 5^th GRADE HEAT 2 520M WINGS OF PERLITA was best to begin. FORWARD PASS was slow to begin. Shortly after the start DAZE FLYBY was tightened of room and checked. Approaching the 1^st turn DAZE FLYBY and PEPPA PIG CLOUD were both tightened for room and checked. Shortly after CLASSY CHURCHIE checked in across the heels of RANI BENZ. Out of the turn into the back straight SIZEABLE and CLASSY CHURCHIE bumped on a number of occasions resulting in both runners being hampered. Out of the back straight into the turn SIZEABLE was tightened for room and checked. FORWARD PASS raced wide in the back and front straights.

8.	BRISGREYS.COM BEST 8 520M PARCHMENT was slow to begin. Shortly after the start SMOKEM UP SMOKEY and BIRKDALE BEAUTY bumped. On entering the 1^st turn BIRKDALE BEAUTY improved onto the heels of SMOKEM UP SMOKEY and was hampered. Shortly after MAGIC MAIDEN and AZARIAH collided, resulting in both runners being hampered. NO CALLARATAH which was trailing was hampered and shifted outwards and collided with YOUI. Through the turn into the back straight MAGIC MAIDEN and AZARIAH collided resulting in AZARIAH being checked. NO CALLARATAH which was trailing was checked as a result. MAGIC MAIDEN, YOUI, BIRKDALE BEAUTY and SMOKEM UP SMOKEY all raced wide in the back straight. YOUI, BIRKDALE BEAUTY and SMOKEM UP SMOKEY raced wide in the front straight.

CLINT’S CARAVAN WAREHOUSE 5^th GRADE HEAT 3 520M IZZY ELECTRIC was slow to begin. Shortly after the start PATRONUS was tightened for room and hampered. On entering the 1^st turn IZZY ELECTRIC was tightened for room and checked. PATRONUS contacted the heels of DANCING SOLO resulting in that runner being checked and shifting out wider on the track taking ULTRA BLUE wider on the track. Through the turn into the back straight PATRONUS collided with SPRING MARSHALL resulting in both runners being checked. Out of the back straight into the turn COSADO SUN was tightened of room and checked. Through the turn into the front straight SPRING MARSHALL turned its head outward and marred the running of PATRONUS. PATRONUS was checked and shifted out wider on the track as a result. DANCING SOLO and ULTRA BLUE which were trailing were also checked and shifted out wider on the track as a result. ULTRA BLUE raced wide in the back and front straights. Stewards advised trainer Mr. P Ruetschi that the greyhound SPRING MARSHALL would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1^st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks.

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 5^th GRADE HEAT 4 520M PREPARE YOURSELF and OUR CHALLENGE were best to begin. Approaching the 1^st turn COSMO BILL contacted the heels of SMASHNIAK TASER and was checked. Shortly after MASTER CHA CHA and SMASHNIAK TASER collided resulting in both runners being checked. COSMO BILL which was trailing was checked as a result. OUR CHALLENGE was also checked as a result. Out of the back straight into the turn POCAHONTAS was tightened for room and checked. OUR CHALLENGE was tightened for room and checked in the back straight. PREPARE YOURSELF raced wide in the back straight.

Ipswich Saturday 3 September 2016 – trainer Mr. P Ruetschi reported to stewards that the greyhound GOT A BROTHER had sustained an injury to its off side hip support and would not spell as a result.
