Stewards Trial 1 – 520m The greyhound
UNIQUE AFFAIR performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of
520m in a time of 30.73 and is now cleared all tracks except Brisbane until
after 28 September 2016. The greyhound ALPHA
ZEUS performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m in a
time of 30.64 and is now cleared all tracks. Stewards Trial 1 – 395m The greyhound
DAYSEAS KIMMY failed an unsatisfactory trial over the distance of 395m. |

DOWNLOAD THE APP MAIDEN HEAT 1 520M Even
start with the exception of FROSTY ZERO, SWEET TALK and AKUMA ULTRON which
were marginally slow to begin. Shortly
after the start FROSTY ZERO was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Shortly after FIRE IN EDEN was
tightened for racing room and momentarily hampered. In the front straight on the 1st
occasion BOBBY THE BEAR was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Rounding
the turn out of the front straight LONGTIME COMIN’ and PIZARRO collided
resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. SWEET TALK which was trailling was checked
as a consequence. The
greyhound FIRE IN EDEN underwent a post race Veterinarian examination and was
found to have suffered an injury to the off side pin and was stood down for a
period of 10 days. |

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB
MAIDEN HEAT 2 520M Even start.
Shortly after the start KING PEDRO was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. FROSTY GAIL
was slow to muster speed in the early stages of the race. Approaching the turn out the front straight
SOME CHARGER was tightened for racing room and momentarily hampered. Leaving the front straight INVAR STAR was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. ARDEN STREET which was racing to its
outside was checked as a consequence and shifted out and made contact with
KING PEDRO resulting in KING PEDRO to be severely checked and lose
ground. Approaching the turn into the
back straight SOME CHARGER was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. ELLA’S LOLLIEPOP commenced to
give ground leaving the back straight to finish in last position. The greyhound ELLA’S LOLLIEPOP underwent a post race
Veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the chest
and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE 520M VAGAS DE KAHN
and QUICKLEE BAZZ were best to begin.
FROSTY AJAY was slow to begin.
Approaching the turn out of the front straight QUICKLEE BAZZ was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. In the back straight VAGAS DE KAHN checked
across the heels of MADAM LOOPSY and was momentarily hampered. Leaving the back straight SHEZA A SONG
contacted the hindquarters of FROSTY AJAY resulting in that greyhound to be
severely checked and lose ground.
ZALHANI which was racing to the outside of FROSTY AJAYE was checked as
a consequence. Rounding the turn into
the front straight VAGAS DE KAHN and MADAM LOOPSY collided on a number of
occasions resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. |

GLEN GALLON @ STUD NOVICE 520M Even start.
Shortly after the start SMART MARLOW was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. Approaching
the turn out of the front straight ALPHA DAENERYS and HARA’S SAM bumped
resulting in both greyhounds being momentarily hampered. |

CARAVAN WAREHOUSE 5th GRADE HEAT 1 520M Even start. SOFT
GAMBLER was tightened for racing room shortly after the start, checked and
lost ground. Leaving the front
straight MIGHTY NIMROD was tightened for racing room and made contact with
the running rail, checked and lost ground.
Approaching the turn into the front straight HURRICANE CHANCE and CALL
ME AUSSIE collided resulting in HURRICANE CHANCE being checked and lose
ground. The greyhound MIGHTY MNIMROD underwent a post race Veterinarian
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

BRISGREYS.COM 5th GRADE HEAT 2 520M Even start with the exception of MASTER CHA CHA which was
marginally slow to begin. Rounding the
turn out of the front straight HYDROGEN and CLASSY CHURCHIE collided
resulting in both greyhounds to be checked.
During the later stages of the race SMASHNIAK TASER turned its head
and marred the running of HYDROGEN. Stewards advised trainer Mr. G Kadniak that the greyhound
SMASHNIAK TASER would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st
offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks. |

SKY RACING 0 – 3 WINS
600M Even start with the exception of IXCHEL which was slow to
begin. Rounding the turn into the
front straight on the 1st occasion GLEBE KID shifted out and came
into contact with HERE FOR YOU resulting in both greyhounds to be momentarily
hampered. Rounding the turn into the
back straight RHYTHMIC CRUISER checked off the heels of SNOW RUNNER and made
contact with ARE YOU THERE resulting in both ARE YOU THERE and RHYTHMIC
CRUISER to be checked and lose ground.
Rounding the turn into the front straight and during the run to the
finish RHYTHMIC CRUISER turned its head and marred the running of REFUND
REQUIRED on a number of occasions. The greyhound REFUND REQUIRED underwent a post race
Veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
fore webbing and was stood down for a period of 10 days. Stewards advised trainer Mr. V Osborn that the greyhound RHYTHMIC
CRUISER would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28
days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 600m all tracks. |

the turn out of the front straight CAN OF SPRITE and RUM RAMBLER were
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Shortly after MAYWYN IF LUCKY was tightened
for racing room, checked and lost ground.
SO SABRINA was inconvenienced as a result of this incident. Approaching the turn into the back straight
COSADO SUN was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight
