was best to begin. FROSTY BEJAY was
slow to begin. Shortly after the start
all runners except KAZEKO collided and were checked to varying degrees. On entering the back straight WAIKARIE SHAZ
and MAD GIRL collided resulting in MAD GIRL being checked. SMOOTH JAKE which was trailing was checked
as a result. Out of the back straight
into the turn SMOOTH JAKE improved inside MAD GIRL resulting in both runners
colliding and being checked. Through
the turn into the front straight WAIKARIE SHAZ contacted the heels of FOUR
TIN LIDS resulting in both runners being hampered. SURF CATCHER which was trailing was checked
and forced out wider on the track as a result. FROSTY BEJAY raced wide in the back
straight and the turn into the front straight. SURF CATCHER raced wide in the front
straight. |

MAIDEN HEAT 2 395M RUN KAY RUN was best to begin. MILLION DOLLAR and FIDDY BUCKS were slow to
begin. Through the turn into the back
straight JESSIE KATHLEEN, HOSTESS WATKINS and QUINTASTIC all collided
resulting in QUINTASTIC being checked.
DASH OF LUCK and ONE DOLLAR which were trailing were both checked as a
result. On entering the back straight
JESSIE KATHLEEN and HOSTESS WATKINS bumped resulting in HOSTESS WATKINS being
hampered. Out of the back straight
into the turn HOSTESS WATKINS shifted in and collided with FIDDY BUCKS
resulting in both greyhounds being checked.

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN FINAL 395M HARA’S STORM
was best to begin. GOLD RAINS was slow
to begin. ISOBELLA’S MAGIC began
awkwardly and shortly after the start checked out across the heels of KOMPANY
and collided with INDIAN GIVER which was taken out and collided with STATUE
BRO. On entering the 1st
turn MONLOR RON was tightened for room and collided with HARA’S STORM,
resulting in both runners being hampered.
KOMPANY which was trailing was hampered as a result. On entering the back straight ISOBELLA’S
MAGIC checked in across the heels of GOLD RAINS which was checked as a
result. In the back straight STATUE
BRO shifted in and collided with GOLD RAINS resulting in STATUE BRO being
checked. Out of the back straight into
the turn HARA’S LEISHA was tightened for room and hampered. On entering the front straight INDIAN GIVER
checked out across the heels of KOMPANY.

begin. RUBY IT IS and HARA’S LIGHTNING
bumped at the start. Through the 1st
turn into the back straight RUBY IT IS and THIRTY EIGHT were both tightened
for room and checked. TIGER REX which
was trailing checked in across the heels of THIRTY EIGHT. Shortly after TIGER REX then checked out
across the heels of RUBY IT IS which was hampered. COSMIC SAID SO raced wide in the front
straight. The greyhound RUBY IT IS underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

tightened for room and checked.
Through the turn into the back straight ROPE A DOPE, DE BRUYNE,
THRILLA STROKE and LION EAGLE were all tightened for room and checked. COSMIC STATE which was trailing was forced
to shift out wider on the track to avoid those runner’s heels. COSMIC STATE raced wide in the back and
front straights. |

begin. Through the turn into the front
straight SIMPLY MAGIC, SAKE ROCKS and HARA’S BLAZE were all tightened for
room and checked. FYRE GAL which was trailing
was checked as a result. Out of the
back straight into the turn SIMPLY MAGIC was tightened for room and
checked. SAKE ROCKS which was trailing
collided with that runner and fell and took no further competitive part in
the event. The greyhound SAKE ROCKS underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

Shortly after the start OBIN TOMMY, VALKYRIE CANDY and FEARSOME MISS
were all tightened for room and checked.
Shortly after FABULOUS KATIE was tightened for room and hampered. Out of the back straight into the turn OBIN
TOMMY improved onto the heels of the fading WILDASH WILDFIRE and collided
with that runner resulting in both greyhounds being checked. FEARSOME MISS which was trailing checked
out across the heels of WILDASH WILDFIRE.

PRATER’S PROBLEM all collided resulting in ZAFONIC DANCER, INTERACTION, FANCY
SCHMANCY and PRATER’S PROBLEM being checked and FANCY SCHMANCY falling and
taking no further competitive part in the event. The greyhound FANCY SCHMANCY underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

JULIE SIZE were tightened for room and hampered. Through the turn into the back straight
MAGIC IN ME collided with WIGGLE, shifted out and bumped CHIEF CHEROKEE. As a result MAGIC IN ME was checked. PURE BEAUTY which was trailing was checked
as a result. Out of the back straight
into the turn CHIEF CHEROKEE and FROSTY AMY bumped. The greyhound CHIEF CHEROKEE underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 21 days. |

straight TAHLIA’S WAY was tightened for room and hampered. Shortly after MANYARA MISS and PRINCESS
EMALYS collided resulting in PRINCESS EMALYS being hampered. BEST STRATEGY which was trailing collided
with PRINCESS EMALYS resulting in PRINCESS EMALYS being checked and BEST
STRATEGY falling and taking no further competitive part in the event. The greyhound FEARLESS DANCER underwent a post-race

SHAYLOR EVELYN, SHE’S MY DARLING and POWER JET all collided resulting in
SHE’S MY DARLING and POWER JET being checked.
TOKATEE KAHN which was trailing was checked as a result. On entering the back straight CLASSY BARCY
checked out across the heels of CUPPA TEA KIWI. POWER JET raced wide in the back straight. |
