satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 331m in a time of 19.44. |

The greyhound SPRING MARSHALL performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m in a time of 30.27 and
is now cleared all tracks except Brisbane until after 2 October 2016.
The greyhound LITTLE MADAM performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m in a time of 30.67 and
is now cleared all tracks.
The greyhound LUCKY SALLY performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m in a time of 30.35 and
is now cleared all tracks except Brisbane until 5 October 2016.
The greyhound CIGAR SAM performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m in a time of 30.16? and
is now cleared all tracks except Casino.

MAIDEN FINAL 520M Even start with the exception of ARDEN STREET and
LONGTIME COMIN’ which were slow to begin.
Shortly after the start AKUMA ULTRON and WHOOP BANG collided resulting
in AKUMA ULTRON to be checked and lose ground. Shortly after MISTER STUBBORN and WHOOP
BANG were tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the front
straight ARDEN STREET, SWEET TALK and MISTER STUBBORN were tightened for
racing room, checked and lost ground.
Leaving the front straight MISTER STUBBORN was tightened for racing
room, checked, shifted out and made contact with WHOOP BANG resulting in that
greyhound to be checked. WHOOP BANG
then shifted out and made contact with AKUMA ULTRON resulting in both AKUMA
ULTRON and WHOOP BANG to be severely checked and lose considerable ground. Leaving the back straight MISTER STUBBORN
was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. |

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE 520M KIKEM STORMY
was best to begin. MIDNIGHT DASHER was
marginally slow to begin. Leaving the
front straight JACKO’S CHANT was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. COOKIE NO CREAM, MIDNIGHT
DASHER and BIWOTT which was racing to the outside were checked as a
consequence. Shortly after MIDNIGHT
DASHER and BIWOTT collided resulting in BIWOTT to be severely checked and
lose considerable ground. Rounding the
turn out of the front straight HARA’S STORM raced wide. Approaching the turn into the back straight
COOKIE NO CREAM and JACKO’S CHANT collided resulting in both greyhounds to be
checked and lose ground. When
questioned over the performance of BIWOTT which started $1.85 favourite on Tattsbet,
trainer Mr. G Brennan reported that the greyhound had trialled extremely well
in the lead up to today’s race and was expecting a very forward showing. He stated that the greyhound does not begin
quickly in its races and tonight it suffered extreme interference during the
early stages of the race which in his view contributed to its finishing
position. Mr. Brennan further stated
that he supported the greyhound tonight.
Stewards noted his explanation. The greyhound
BIWOTT underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries
were found. |

GLEN GALLON @ STUD 0 – 3 WINS 600M Even start with the exception of BATTY LOVES BEER and
LANCASTER BOMBER which were both slow to begin. Shortly after the start IXCHEL and BATTY
LOVES BEER collided resulting in BATTY LOVES BEER being severely checked,
stumbled and momentarily fell and lost considerable ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight
IXCHEL and BATTY LOVES BEER collided resulting in both greyhounds to be
checked and lose ground. LIL’S ROSE
raced wide in the back straight.
Leaving the back straight ALPHA DAENERYS was tightened for racing room
and made contact with the running rail and was checked as a consequence. The greyhound BATTY LOVES BEER underwent a post race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound ALPOHA DAENERYS underwent a post race
veterinary examination and found to have suffered an injury to the off side
pin and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

CARAVAN WAREHOUSE 5th GRADE 520M Even start with the exception of LUCKY MARLOW which was
slow to begin. Shortly after the start
SINGELTON and RAGNAR LOTHBROK collided resulting in RAGNAR LOTHBROK to be
checked and lose ground. ALPHA
ACHILLES failed to muster early speed.
Rounding the turn out of the front straight ALPHA ACHILLES and LUCKY
MARLOW collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose
ground. Leaving the back straight GOOD
ODDS RICK was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight
ALPHA ACHILLES and GOOD ODDS RICK collided resulting in both greyhounds to
lose ground. The greyhound ALPHA ACHILLES underwent a post race
veterinary examination and found to have suffered an injury to the off side
hock and hip and was stood down for a period of 14 days. The greyhound GOOD ODDS RICK underwent a post race
veterinary examination and found to have suffered an injury to the near side
hip and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

SKY RACING 5th
GRADE 520M REINHOLD and DANCING SOLO were best to begin. Shortly after the start KIKEM ZEST was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Shortly after CAN OF SPRITE and ELLIE’S BOY
collided. ELLIE’S BOY raced wide
leaving the front straight. IZZY ELECTRIC which was racing to its outside was
hampered as a consequence. When questioned over the performance of ELLIE’S BOY
trainer’s representative Mr. B Linnan was of the view that the greyhound
which was having its 1st race start at Albion Park and did not
handle the circuit. Mr. Linnan
reported that ELLIE’S BOY will be restricted to racing at Ipswich where the
greyhound had been successful in its past events. Stewards noted Mr. Linnan’s explanation. The greyhound ELLIE’S BOY underwent a post race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |
