UBET – DOWNLOAD THE APP MAIDEN HEAT 1 331M

YOU TELAM JOY, MAHAL BILLIE, HEZA VISION, PRINCESS IVY and KEYSTONE KAHN were best to begin.  NAVAJO WARRIOR, SPIFFY and NORM SAID THIS were slow to begin.  Shortly after the start HEZA VISION was tightened for racing room, checked and fell as a consequence taking no further competitive part in the race.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight NAVAJO WARRIOR was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground and NORM SAID THIS was checked as a result of this incident and lost ground.  Shortly after MAHAL BILLIE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  YOU TELAM JOY and SPIFFY which was racing to its outside were checked as a consequence and lost ground.

 

The greyhound HEZA VISION underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

ZILLMERE SPORTS CLUB MAIDEN HEAT 2 331M

Even start.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight MAYFEATHER was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight VICKI’S CHOICE shifted out and raced wide.  MASKED ZORRO which was racing to its outside was checked as a consequence and raced wide.  DENOUEMENT raced greenly throughout the race.

 

The greyhound DEOUEMENT underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.  Stewards advised trainer Mr. T List that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 71 Unsatisfactory Performance and must perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 331m prior to nominating.

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN HEAT 3 331M

Even start.  FINE GAMBLER failed to muster speed in the early stages of the race.  Leaving the back straight TELAM BUGSY GIRL improved onto the heels of HANG ON LADS resulting in HANG ON LADS to be checked and lose ground.

 

The greyhound FINE GAMBLER underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.  When questioned over the performance of the greyhound trainer Mr. P Lavis explained that the greyhound was having its 1st start since the 8 May and he was expecting a forward showing.  He said that the greyhound had trained up well and trailled prior to the race.  He stated that FINE GAMBLER did not begin as well as he expected and may have received some interference in the early stages of the race which placed it at a disadvantage.  P Lavis was of the view that the greyhound would improve with further racing.  Stewards left the inquiry with an open finding pending further investigations into betting trends in the event.

Even start.  Shortly after the start GINA SANNETTE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.

Even start.  Rounding the turn into the front straight TOLL EVASION and TOAST THE VICTOR collided resulting in both greyhounds being checked and lost ground.

SCOTT SPEED was best to begin.  Rounding the turn into the front straight KING WEBKE checked across the heels of SCOTT SPEED and was momentarily hampered.

EL’S ON SHOW was best to begin.  Shortly after the start ELL’S ALL CLASS, BLACK SCORPION and LION EAGLE raced tight resulting in all greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.  CUSTOM MODEL and FLYING MAXINE which were trailling were checked as a consequence and lost ground.

 

The greyhound BLACK SCORPION underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

SKY RACING 3/4th GRADE 395M

Even start.  Entering the back straight INTERACTION and FARMOR MAYHEM collided resulting in FARMOR MAYHEM to be checked and lose ground.  Approaching the turn into the front straight INTERACTION and FABULOUS GARY collided resulting in FABULOUS GARY being checked and lose ground.  Shortly after the start FABULOUS WALL displaced its muzzle which placed it at a disadvantage throughout the event.

 

The greyhound FABULOUS GARY underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near hind foot and was stood down for a period of 14 days.

SULZANTI @ STUD 4th GRADE 395M

Even start.  Entering the back straight FANCY SCHMANCY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Rounding the turn into the front straight and for the length of the front straight GOLD TOTAL and IBRA CABABRA collided over a number of occasions which resulted in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.  In the front straight over the latter stages FABULOUS GARY improved onto the heels of DAVID’S MEMORY and was checked as a consequence and lost ground.

 

The greyhound FANCY SCHMANCY underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near hind leg and was stood down for a period of 21 days.

MANLY HOTEL 4/5th GRADE 395M

Even start with the exception of PAW DIDEMIS which was extremely slow to begin and a warning was issued.  Through the 1st turn BLUE LEXUS, IONA MACHINE and WALLOON SMARTIE were tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  BEETOWN TOMMY raced wide for the majority of the race.  Entering the front straight MR. WOODS and WALLOON SMARTIE collided resulting in MR. WOODS being checked and lost ground.

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 5th GRADE 395M

Even start.  Shortly after the start SHAQTIN’S A FOOL was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Entering the back straight TAHLIA’S WAY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  MONLOR KIM which was racing to its outside was checked as a consequence and lost ground.  Shortly after ZAFONIC FORCE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Approaching the turn into the front straight MONLOR KIM and TAHLIA’S WAY collided resulting in both greyhounds to be severely checked and lose considerable ground.

 

The greyhound TAHLIA’S WAY underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near side wrist and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

The greyhound ALOTA DAGZ underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off hind leg and was stood down for a period of 21 days.

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB MASTERS 395M

Even start with the exception of BELLA NARCISSUS which was marginally slow to begin.  Through the 1st turn TRAV’S MAGIC, WALLY WHO CALLS and BLACK STEEL raced tight resulting in all greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.  SMASH EM UP and MISTER MUSIC which were trailling were checked as a consequence.  Entering the back straight TRAV’S MAGIC and BLACK STEEL collided resulting in BLACK STEEL being checked and lose ground.

 

The greyhound BLACK STEEL underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side wrist and was stood down for a period of 21 days.
