The greyhound ENDLESS
ROAD performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 331m in a
time of 19.60 and is now cleared all tracks.

start. Shortly after the start DREAM
BLASTER and SPECULATE bumped resulting in both greyhounds to be momentarily
hampered. Shortly after CASANOVA JOE
and HERO HAYDOS collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose
ground. Approaching the turn into the
back straight JURY and DREAM BLASTER collided resulting in both greyhounds to
be checked and lose ground. Rounding
the turn out of the back straight AUSSIEDIAMOND was tightened for racing
room, checked and lost ground. In the
front straight during the latter stages of the race SPECULATE was tightened
for racing room, checked and lost ground. |

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB
NOVICE 520M Even start.
Shortly after the start GLEBE KID and FROSTY ZERO collided resulting
in FROSTY ZERO shifting out and tightening the racing room of SMART
MARLOW. SMART MARLOW was checked and
lost ground as a result of this incident.
Approaching the turn out of the front straight GLEBE KID was tightened
for racing room, checked and shifted out losing some ground. Shortly after KING PEDRO improved onto the
heels of CYNO SNIP, was checked and shifted out abruptly and raced wide. KING PEDRO raced wide in the back straight. |

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 0 – WINS 600M LIL’S ROSE,
LITTLE MADAM, CYNO ROSE and BEC’S DIAMOND were best to begin. BUSH SPIRIT, TIBETAN DREAM, CYNO GENERAL
and BATTY LOVES BEER were slow out.
Approaching the turn into the front straight on the 1st
occasion CYNO GENERAL was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Rounding the turn into the
front straight during the run to the finish BATTY LOVES BEER and BEC’S
DIMAOND collided resulting in BATTY LOVES BEER to be checked and lose ground. |

GLEN GALLON @ STUD 5th GRADE 600M SOOT SPRITE, BEACH FRONT, NOOREE DESSA and YOUI were best
to begin. LUCKY MARLOW and PENULTIMATE
were slow to begin. Rounding the turn
out of the back straight PENULTIMATE was tightened for racing room, checked
and lost ground. Rounding the turn
into the front straight BEACH FRONT was tightened for racing room, checked
and lost ground. |

CLINT’S
CARVAN WAREHOURSE 5th GRADE 520M Even start.
Shortly after the start SINGLETON, KORONG, FAST BEAN and GORILLA EYES
all raced tight resulting in all greyhounds to be checked and lose
ground. GORILLA EYES and CASEY
UNDERCOVER both gave ground over the concluding stages to finish a considerable
distance from the remainder of the field. The greyhound CASEY UNDERCOVER underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have
suffered an injury to the near side hind leg and was stood down for a period
of 14 days. The greyhound GORILLA EYES underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent
injuries were found. The greyhound GORILLA EYES underwent a further post race veterinarian examination and was found to have
suffered an injury to the off hind leg and was stood down for a period of 10
days. |

BRISGREYS.COM 5th GRADE 520M Even start.
Shortly after the start DISCO DOLLY was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. Shortly after
GUY FAWKES was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the front
straight BAZZA’S ISSUE was tightened for racing room, shifted out and bumped
REFUND REQUIRED which in turn shifted out and came into heavy contact with
ARABIAN SHREDDER with was racing to its outside resulting in both ARABIAN
SHREDDER and REFUND REQUIRED to be checked and lose considerable ground. In the front straight during the latter
stages of the race GUY FAWKES and PERFECT BART collided resulting in PERFECT
BART being checked and lose ground. The greyhound PERFECT BART underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent
injuries were found. When questioned
over the performance of PERFECT BART trainer Ms. S Hunt was of the view that
PERFECT BART over raced in the middle stages of the event which took its toll
on the greyhound’s stamina over the latter stages. She stated that this was the 1st
race that PERFECT BART had run over the 520m although the greyhound had
trialled over that distance leading up to today’s event. She further stated that whilst PERFECT BART
had been successful when leading in its races she was of the view that over
the 520m distance it may be best if it raced further back in the field where
possible. Stewards noted her
explanation. |

GRADE 520M PINK SCISSORS was best to begin. Approaching the turn out of the front
straight ASTON JADORE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. ZAFONIC DANCER which was trailling was checked as a consequence and raced
wide. Leaving the back straight PINK
SCISSORS was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. |

@ STUD 5th GRADE FINAL 520M Even start with the exception of GUNNA
WINK, SARAJEVO GIRL and CLASSY CHURCHIE which were marginally slow to
begin. Shortly after the start
SHANAE’S MAGIC and MASTER CHA CHA were tightened
for racing room, checked and lost ground.
Rounding the turn out of the front straight SHANAE’S MAGIC, MASTER CHA
CHA and SARAJEVO GIRL were tightened for racing
room, checked and lost ground. CLASSY
CHURCHIE was checked as a result of this incident and lost ground. |

both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. Rounding the turn out of the
front straight DANCING SOLO, ISSY ELECTRIC, INVAR STAR and KIALLA raced
wide. DANCING SOLO raced wide in the
back straight. The greyhound BENMESSO underwent a post
race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

STRAIGHT TO THE CREEK FINAL 5th GRADE 395M Even start with the exception of ALPHA ADONIS which was
marginally slow to begin. Through the
1st turn UNIQUE KALEESI, SHE’S A FOX, GAGAN NANCY, KILDONAN KID
and UNIQUE KALEESI all raced tight resulting in all greyhounds to be checked
to varying degrees. The greyhound SHE’S A FOX underwent a post
race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |
