Stewards Trial 1 – 520m The greyhound
OUTBACK TREASURE performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance
of 520m in a time of 31.28 and is now cleared all tracks. The greyhound
SWITCH BLADE performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of
520m in a time of 30.73 and is now cleared all tracks. Stewards Trial 2 – 395m The greyhound ALPHA
HECTOR performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 395m in
a time of 23.02 and is now cleared all tracks. |

DOWNLOAD THE APP MAIDEN 520M Even
start with the exception of OFF AND ON which was marginally slow to
begin. Shortly after the start MAGIC
HORNET was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Shortly after LUPE FIASCO was tightened for
racing room, checked and lost ground.
Leaving the front straight LOLA GIRL and LUPE FIASCO were tightened
for racing room, checked and lost ground.
MAGIC HORNEY which was racing forward of LOLA GIRL was checked as a
consequence. APCARD which was racing
to the outside of LUPE FIASCO was checked as a consequence and lost
ground. ROCKABILLY OSTI raced wide
rounding the turn out of the front straight.
WILDASH SEMI which was racing to its outside was checked as a consequence
and raced wide. Through the catching
pen OFF AND ON and MAGIC HORNET collided resulting in MAGIC HORNET being
checked and lose ground. Rounding the
turn into the back straight OFF AND ON checked across the heels of WILDASH
SEMI and lost ground. Leaving the back
straight MAGIC HORNET was tightened for racing room, and momentarily
hampered. In the front straight during
the run to the finish ROCKABILLY OSTI and OFF AND ON collided resulting in
both greyhounds to be checked. |

520M KING PEDRO was best to begin. FROSTY ZERO was slow out. Shortly after the start LUCID DREAMING was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. HARA’S BUNDY which was racing to the
outside of LUCID DREAMING was checked as a consequence and lost ground. LUCID DREAMING raced wide in the back
straight. In the front straight during
the latter stages of the race LUCID DREAMING and THUNDER OF FIRE collided on
a number of occasions resulting in both greyhound to be checked and lose
ground. The greyhound TIP YA CAP underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 0 – 3 WINS 600M BEC’S DIAMOND
was best to begin. LANCASTER BOMBER
was slow away. Approaching the turn
into the front straight on the 1st occasion LANCASTER BOMBER and
POKER CARD bumped resulting in both greyhounds to be checked. Rounding the turn out of the front straight
CYNO SNIP and DISCO DOLLY were tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. POKER CARD commenced to give
ground rounding the turn into the front straight. The greyhound
POKER CARD underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent
injuries were found. When questioned
over the performance trainer Mr. N Card was of the view that POKER CARD would
be competitive in today’s race as it had been performing well at the
Bundaberg track leading up to today’s event.
He stated that he was disappointed with POKER CARD’s performance and
it would be his intention to restrict its racing to the Non TAB Bundaberg
race meetings in the near future.
After considering this undertaking stewards whilst of the view that
the performance was bordering on unsatisfactory took no further action
however, advised Mr. Card that if the greyhound was to return to race at
Albion Park they would expect it to race up to market expectation. Mr. Card further stated that the greyhound
is better suited with running on the grass track and may have resented the
sand track here at Albion Park. |

5th GRADE 520M UNIQUE AFFAIR and CLASSY CHURCHIE were best to
begin. BOOM WARRIOR and SHAYLOR SAM
were slow out. Shortly after the start
SNEAKIN’ OUT and PLENTY OF PUNCH were tightened for racing room, checked and
lost ground. Rounding the turn out of
the front straight BOOM WARRIOR was tightened for racing room, checked and
lost ground. Approaching the turn into
the back straight BOOM WARRIOR was tightened for racing room, and momentarily
hampered. The greyhound SNEAKIN’ OUT underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

CARAVAN WAREHOUSE 5th GRADE 520M Even start with the exception of EIGHT PINTS which was
slow to begin. Approaching the turn
out of the back straight EIGHT PINTS was tightened for racing room, checked
and lost ground. Through the catching
pen CAN OF SPRITE was tightened for racing room made contact with the running
rail and was checked as a consequence losing ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight
EIGHT PINTS and SANDAVE BELLAIRE collided. The greyhound CAN OF SPRITE underwent a post race veterinarian
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

BRISGREYS.COM 5th GARDE 520M Even start.
Shortly after the start BLUE PRINCE was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. Leaving the
front straight IZZY ELECTRIC was tightened for racing room, severely checked
and lost considerable ground. DAY TIME
FRIEND and MINSTREL MAN which were racing to its outside were checked as a
consequence and lost ground. |

GRADE 520M Even start.
Shortly after the start IMA COWBOY and HARA’S SAM were tightened for
racing room, checked and lost ground.
Rounding the turn out of the back straight YES GERONOMO checked across
the heels of BALLISTICS and collided with KIKEM STORMY resulting in both YES
GERONOMO and KIKEM STORMY to be checked and lose ground. Approaching the turn into the front
straight YES GERONOMO and ELING FEELING collided resulting in both greyhounds
to be momentarily hampered. |

US ON FACEBOOK @ BRISGREYS 4/5th GRADE 520M CHA CHA GEM was best to begin. GUNNA WINK and SILVER CROWN were slow to
begin. Shortly after the start LUCKY
SALLY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Leaving the front straight LUCKY SALLY
improved onto the heels of GOT A BROTHER and was checked as a
consequence. Rounding the turn out of
the front straight CHA CHA GEM was tightened for racing room, checked and
lost ground and shifted out and collided with PUNCH RIGHT OUT resulting in
both greyhounds to be checked. In the
front straight during the later stages of the race CHA CHA GEM turned its
head inwards towards the direction of LITTLE FONZIE and failed to chase to
chase the lure with due cause. The greyhound CHA CHA GEM underwent a
post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards advised trainer Mr. N Murdoch that
the greyhound CHA CHA GEM would be charged under Rule 69 (A) Failing to
Pursue, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial
520m all tracks. |

Rounding the turn out of the back straight THIS TIME MADDIE and
DAVID’S MEMORY were tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the front
straight MARLO GOOD improved onto the heels of SIP OF SHIRAZ resulting in
both greyhounds to be momentarily hampered. |
