Stewards Trial 1 – 520m The greyhound OREO
DELIGHT performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m in
a time of 30.94 and is now cleared all tracks except Ipswich. Stewards Trial 1 – 395m The greyhound SONIC
STICKA performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 395m a
time of 23.04 and is now cleared all tracks. |

DOWNLOAD THE APP MAIDEN HEAT 1 520M ROCKIN’
ALL OVER was best to begin. Shortly
after the start JAY AYE, WILDASH SEMI and DOODOOMP raced tight, resulting in
JAY AYE being checked and to lose ground.
Rounding the turn out of the front straight NITRO NOVA shifted out
which tightened the racing room of WILDASH SEMI which in turn shifted out and
came into contact with KAPPA NU resulting in all greyhounds to be checked to
varying degrees. |

MAIDEN HEAT 2 520M ROCKABILLY OSTI was best to begin. LAKES ROAD was slow to begin. Shortly after the start IT’S ABOUT TIME,
SATAN’S GIFT, DREAM BLASTER and WILD MISS JUDY raced tight resulting in
SATAN’S GIFT, DREAM BLASTER and WILD MISS JUDY to be checked and to lose
ground. Leaving the front straight
WILD MISS JUDY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Leaving the back straight SATAN’S GIFT was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. In the front straight during the later
stages of the race LOLA GIRL turned its head outwards and made muzzle contact
with ROCKABILLY OSTI which marred the running of that greyhound. Stewards advised trainer Mr. M Brauer that the greyhound
LOLA GIRL would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28
days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks. |

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE 520M HARA’S BUNDY
was best to begin. LORD LACHLAN,
ZIVA’S LASS and ALPHA DAENERYS were slow to begin. ZIVA’S LASS failed to muster speed in the
early stages of the race. Approaching
the turn out of the front straight KING PEDRO improved onto the heels of LORD
LACHLAN resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and to lose ground. IMA RUNAWAY which was racing to the outside
of LORD LACHLAN was checked as a result of this incident and lost
ground. Approaching the turn into the
back straight KING PEDRO was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. |

GLEN GALLON @ STUD 0 – 3 WINS 600M WAY BEFORE YOU, CYNO ROSE and CYNO GENERAL were best to
begin. Approaching the turn into the
front straight on the 1st occasion ZALHANI checked across the
heels of BUSH SPIRIT and raced wide.
Entering the back straight LIL’S ROSE and ZALHNAI collided resulting
in LIL’S ROSE being checked and to lose ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight
LIL’S ROSE and CYNO SNIP collided causing both greyhounds to be checked and
lose ground. |

CLINT‘S
CARAVAN WAREHOUSE 5th GRADE HEAT 1 520M Even start with the exception of KATIE GELZINNIS which
was marginally slow to begin. Leaving
the front straight THURSDAY WISH improved onto the heels of ELEGANT STRIDER
and was checked, shifted out and made contact with PEBBLE BAY resulting in
both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. LITTLE FONZIE which was trailing was
checked as a consequence and lost ground.
Rounding the turn out of the back straight FLASHMAN SAM was tightened
for racing room, checked and lost ground.
LITTLE FONZIE which was trailing was checked as a consequence and lost
ground. The greyhound LITTLE FONZIE underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
side hip and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

BRISGREYS.COM 5th GRADE HEAT 2 520M KORONG, MADAM LOOPSY, COSADO SUN and EMMA’S MAGIC were
best to begin. IVANALEROY’S MATE and
IZZY ELECTRIC were slow to begin.
Leaving the front straight MADAM LOOPSY was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. FLAPPING
GUMS, EMMA’S MAGIC and IZZY ELECTRIC which were all racing to its outside were
checked as a consequence and lost ground.
Shortly after KORONG and MADAM LOOPSY collided resulting in MADAM
LOOPSY shifting out and collided with HARA’S SAM resulting in that greyhound
to be severely checked and fall as a consequence and took no further
competitive part in the race. EMMA’S
MAGIC which was trailing was severely checked as a consequence and lost
considerable ground. The greyhound HARA’S SAM underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

SKY RACING 4th
GRADE 520M SWITCH BLADE, PYRO BOB, WHATA NICE SIZE and COSMO CYNDIE
were best to begin. Shortly after the
start GUNNA WINK was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Leaving the front straight PYRO BOB was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight
SWITCH BLADE and WHATA NICE SIZE collided resulting in WHATA NICE SIZE to be
checked and lose ground. In the front
straight during the later stages of the race PYRO BOB and WHATA NICE SIZE
were both tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. The greyhound PYRO BOB underwent a post race veterinarian
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

US ON FACEBOOK @ BRISGREYS BEST 8 520M GENERAL CLOUD was best to begin. Leaving the front straight GRIM CREEPER,
TOBIAS RUMBLE, BLUEY’S SHOUT and EL CHAD raced tight resulting in TOBIAS
RUMBLE and EL CHAD to be checked and lose ground. BLUEY’S SHOUT was severely checked and lost
considerable ground as a result of this incident. The greyhound BLUEY’S SHOUT underwent
a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

GRADE HEAT 3 520M SHANAE’S MAGIC and CUPPA TEA KIWI were best to
begin. Shortly after the start IMA
COWBOY collided with HARA’S STORM and was checked as a consequence. Leaving the front straight HARA’S STORM and
CUPPA TEA KIWI collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose
ground. DUSTY WAY and DANCING SOLO
were checked as a result of this incident and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight
HARA’S STORM was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. |

GLEN GALLON @ STUD 5th
GRADE HEAT 4 520M The start of this race was delayed by the stewards to
afford all trainers of greyhounds competing in this race the opportunity to
withdraw their greyhounds due to the outage of a power pole which restricted
lighting to the front straight. All
trainers were satisfied to allow their greyhounds to compete in the race. Even start with the exception of LUCKY MARLOW and TRAV’S
MAGIC which were slow to begin.
Rounding the turn out of the front straight TIP YA CAP and TRAV’S
MAGIC collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose
ground. Approaching the turn into the
back straight KIALLA was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Rounding the turn out of the
back straight LUCKY MARLOW commenced to give ground to finish a considerable
distance from the remainder of the field.
KIALLA and TRAV’S MAGIC which were trailing were checked as a result
of this incident. The greyhound LUCKY MARLOW underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
side hock and was stood down for a period of 8 weeks. |
