Stewards Trial 1 – 331m The greyhound ROAD
CAM performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 331m in a
time of 19.18 and is now cleared all tracks. Stewards Trial 2 – 520m The greyhound GUN
POWER performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m in a
time of 31.13 and is now cleared all tracks. The greyhound SMART
ILLUSION failed a stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m. The greyhound SO
KAWAII performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m in
a time of 30.79 and is now cleared all tracks. The greyhound SMASHNIAK TASER performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial
over the distance of 520m in a time of 31.34 and is now cleared all tracks. |

DOWNLOAD THE APP MAIDEN HEAT 1 520M MURSLEOW,
STANKY LEG and LOOKING FINE were best to begin. On entering the 1st turn LAKES
ROAD checked out across the heels of CAPREGAS. Out of the back straight into the turn
LAKES ROAD and LOOKING FINE collided. The
greyhound AMUS UNLEASHED underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and
was found to have suffered an injury to the near side pin and was stood down
for a period of 10 days. |

GARRARD’S HORSE AND
HOUND MAIDEN HEAT 2 520M PARTIAL DEFENCE and MASKED ZORRO were best to begin. MY MOJO and DREAM BLASTER were slow to
begin. Approaching the 1st
turn EMBER FLARE, MASKED ZORRO and FAIRLY LEGAL all collided resulting in EMBER
FLARE and MASKED ZORRO being severely checked. MY MOJO which was trailing was checked as a
result. Shortly after KAPPA NU and
MUSTANG NOVA both checked out across the heels of PARTIAL DEFENCE. Out of the back straight into the turn
MASKED ZORRO was tightened for room and checked. KAPPA NU raced wide through the turn into
the front straight. The greyhound EMBER FLARE underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

GLASSHOUSE GREYHOUND SPORTING CLUB NOVICE 520M LADY LA DEEDA
was best to begin. FROSTY ZERO was
slow to begin. Shortly after the start
LORD LACHLAN, HERO HAYDOS, SORRENTO and BIGBOY’S YA MATE all collided
resulting in HERO HAYDOS and SORRENTO being checked. FROSTY ZERO which was trailing was checked
as a result. On entering the 1st
turn ZINGIBER GUNTUR and BIGBOY’S YA MATE collided resulting in ZINGIBER
GUNTUR being checked. Out of the turn
into the front straight SORRENTO shifted out and collided with HERO HAYDOS
resulting in that runner being checked.

GLEN GALLON @ STUD 0 – 3 WINS 600M HARA’S STORM was best to begin. Shortly after the start DIAMOND ROBYNE
checked out across the heels of FLASH ROSE and lost ground. Through the 1st turn into the
front straight GEAR UP and CYNO ROSE were tightened for room and
checked. FLASH ROSE which was trailing
was checked as a result and forced out wider on the track. Out of the front straight into the turn
GEAR UP checked out across the heels of ALPHA DAENERY’S. Shortly after ALPHA DAENERY’S and CYNO ROSE
were both tightened for room and checked.
Out of the turn into the back straight HARA’S STORM collided with
SMART MARLOW resulting in both runners being checked. DIAMOND ROBYNE raced wide for the majority
of the event. |

CARAVAN WAREHOUSE 5th GRADE HEAT 1 520M CLASSY CHURCHIE was best to begin. Shortly after the start TIP YA CAP,
SPECULATE, ELING FEELING and STILL COUNTING were all tightened for room
resulting in TIP YA CAP and SPECULATE being checked and ELING FEELING and
STILL COUNTING being hampered.
Approaching the 1st turn FLASHMAN SAM was tightened for
room and hampered. FLASHMAN SAM then
shifted out and bumped STILL COUNTING.
Out of the back straight into the turn OPPORTUNE KNOCKA was tightened
for room and hampered. Shortly after
CLASSY CHURCHIE was tightened for room and checked. SPECULATE raced wide in the back straight. |

collided resulting in all 3 runners being hampered. KORONG raced wide in the back straight. |

GRADE HEAT 3 520M COOPOLLY BEACH and SHUNT MAN were best to begin. Shortly after the start CHEEKY CHEECH and
RIGHT AS RAIN collided. Approaching
the 1st turn KIALLA and BEC’S DIAMOND were both tightened for room
and checked. Shortly after RIGHT AS
RAIN checked out across the heels of CUPPA TEA KIWI. Through the turn into the back straight
RIGHT AS RAIN improved onto the heels of CUPPA TEA KIWI and was checked. KIALLA checked out across the heels of
CHEEKY CHEECH. CHEEKY CHEECH, RIGHT AS
RAIN and CUPPA TEA KIWI all raced wide in the back straight. On entering the front straight CHEEKY
CHEECH shifted outwards taking CAPTAIN’S KNOCK out wide on the track. |

GRADE HEAT 5 520M BLITZ ‘EM knuckled at the start. TAHLIA’S WAY was best to begin. Shortly after the start HARA’S HOOK and
FLASH VENTURE collided. On entering the
back straight FLASH VENTURE checked out across the heels of HARA’S HOOK. DANCING SOLO raced wide in the back and
front straight. |

GRADE 395M SPLENDID STAR was best to begin. Through the turn into the back straight
SPRINGFIELD BOY, FABRICATED, NAMROD and GUY FAWKES were all tightened for
room and checked. Shortly after NAMROD
collided with GUY FAWKES and was further checked. On entering the back
straight ELLA’S LOLLIEPOP contacted the heels of GAGAN NANCY and
faltered. Out of the back straight
into the turn SPRINGFIELD BOY commenced to give ground and took no further
competitive part in the event. The greyhound SPRINGFIELD BOY underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the back
and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |
