race was delayed 1.5 minutes due to an interstate thoroughbred event. ISSUE
was best to begin with the remainder evenly away. Soon after the start PIZARRO and VEE BEE
DOOLEY collided causing VEE BEE DOOLEY to drop back sharply. Entering the turn out of the home straight
FERNLEE STAR checked off the heels of CHULU CHULULU. On the turn out of the home straight VEE BEE
DOOLEY was wide. In the back straight,
top turn and home straight FERNLEE STAR was wide. |

APP NOVICE 520M MAGIC HORNET was best to begin with SPRING FORTE and
DOLLAR AND CENT slowly away. Soon
after the start DIAMOND FLUSH and PANALO collided causing PANALO to check
SPRING FORTE. Entering the turn out of
the home straight SPRING FORTE checked out off the heels of PANALO causing
PANALO to shift out checking BARCIA’S HUNT.
On the turn out of the home straight PANALO and DIAMOND FLUSH
collided. Entering the back straight
SPRING FORTE checked off the heels of CHILLED HEAT. In the back straight DOLLAR AND CENT was
wide. Entering the top turn CHILLED
HEAT checked off the heels of SPRING FORTE causing CHILLED HEAT to drop back
sharply. In the home straight DIAMOND
FLUSH was wide. The greyhound PANALO underwent a post race veterinarian
examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound BARCIA’S HUNT underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
side wrist and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

was best to begin with VELOCITY KALINA slowly away. Soon after the start HESA BIRD checked off
the heels of KIKEM STORMY causing KIKEM STORMY to drop back sharply. Entering the turn out of the home straight
KNEW YOU WOULD, CAKE OF SOAP and FLASH VENTURE all collided. On the turn out of the home straight
VELOCITY KALINA and FLASH VENTURE collided.
Entering the back straight HESA BIRD checked off the heels of FLASH
VENTURE causing FLASH VENTURE to race wide in the back straight. In the home straight HESA BIRD was wide. The greyhound
HESA BIRD underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent
injuries were found. Stewards advised
trainer Mr. D Trembath that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 71
Unsatisfactory Performance and must perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial
520m all tracks prior to nominating. The greyhound
VELOCITY KALINA underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. The greyhound
FROSTY AJAY underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to
have suffered an injury to the near side metacarpal and was stood down for a
period of 10 days. |

THE MERIAL AUSTRALIA STAKES 5th GRADE 600M MISS BECKY SAM was best to begin with IZZY ELECTRIC
slowly away. Soon after the start JUST
SPIFFING and SARAJEVO GIRL collided.
Entering the home straight IZZY ELECTRIC shifted out checking JUST
SPIFFING causing JUST SPIFFING to race wide in the home straight on the 1st
occasion. In the back straight JUST
SPIFFING was wide. Entering the turn
out of the back straight BOOTY BEACH checked off the heels of FAY’S MAGIC. In the home straight CYNO GENERAL was wide. The greyhound FAY‘S MAGIC underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards questioned trainer Mr. R Cooke and
Mr. Cooke stated that he was happy with the run and the few checks the
greyhound got in the race took the momentum away. |

DESSA collided causing WHATA NICE SIZE to shift in checking PEBBLE BAY, who
in turn checking ALPHA ADONIS and MINNIE IMPACT. On the turn out of the home straight GOT A
BROTHER checked off the heels of CEASER DE KAHN. In the back straight ALPHA ADONIS was
wide. In the home straight PEBBLE BAY
was wide. |

away. On the turn out of the home
straight BUBBLE GUPPY, SNEAKIN’ OUT and FEISTY FIE were all racing tight and
bumping with NAMROD wide on the turn.
In the back straight NAMROD was wide.
Entering the back straight BIWOTT checked off the heels of SPRING
MARSHALL. On the turn out of the back
straight BOOM WARRIOR checked off the heels of BUBBLE GUPPY causing BOOM
WARRIOR to shift out checking SNEAKIN’ OUT.
Entering the home straight SPRING MARSHALL and FEISTY FIE collided
causing FEISTY FIE to check SNEAKIN’ OUT.
In the home straight ARABIAN SHREDDER checked off the heels of BIWOTT. |

on the turn. On the turn ABBY’S MAGIC
faltered and took no further competitive part in the event. In the back straight CRAZY VIXON was
wide. Entering the turn out of the
back straight GENERAL CLOUD checked off the heels of CRAZY VIXON. In the home straight SWAP YA was wide. The greyhound ABBY’S MAGIC underwent a
post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury

In the back straight NATURAL LAD was wide. Approaching the winning post KAY LEAVY
turned its head inwards and made muzzle contact with COSMO CYNDIE. Stewards advised trainer Ms. F Currey that the greyhound
KAY LEAVY would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28
days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks. |
