FRIDAY NIGHT DEC 9 NOVICE 520M MILLION
DOLLAR was best to begin with PORT LISA slowly away. Soon after the start DOLLAR AND CENT
collided with THAT HOUDINI. Entering
the turn out of the home straight CHILLED HEAT, DOLLAR AND CENT and THAT
HOUDINI all collided causing DOLLAR AND CENT and THAT HOUDINI to race wide on
the turn. In the back straight DOLLAR
AND CENT was wide. Entering the turn
out of the back straight CHILLED HEAT checked off the heels of ISSUE. Entering the home straight ISSUE checked
off the heels of CHILLED HEAT. Approaching
the winning post SPRING FORTE and CHULU CHULULU collided. The
greyhound CHULU CHULULU underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. Stewards
questioned Mr. C Graham on SPRING FORTE’s action approaching the winning
post. Stewards conferred and gave Mr.
Graham benefit of the doubt after considering all angles of the film. |

APP 5th GRADE 520M This race was delayed 1.5 minutes due to an interstate
harness event. Even start with MAGOOLEY slowly away. Soon after the start GEAR UP checked off
the heels of DUSTY SILK. Entering the
turn out of the home straight BOGIE MIRACLE checked off the heels of MAGIC
HORNET. On the turn ONE DOLLAR and
MAGOOLEY were wide. Entering the back
straight MAGIC HORNET, BOGIE MIRACLE and ONE DOLLAR were racing tight and
bumping causing MAGIC HORNET to drop back sharply. In the back straight GEAR UP checked off
the heels of DUSTY SILK with WINDY GIRL wide.
Entering the turn out of the back straight BOGIE MIRACLE checked off
the heels of ONE DOLLAR. Entering the
home straight MAGIC HORNET and BOGIE MIRACLE collided. The greyhound MAGIC HORNET underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

UNITED FASTENERS STAKES 4/5th GRADE 520M MY SPRITE was
best to begin with GOT A BROTHER slowly away.
Soon after the start GOT A BROTHER, NOOREE DESSA and ROCKY BE GOOD all
collided. Entering the turn out of the
home straight MUMMA’S HOPE and NOOREE DESSA collided. On the turn out of the home straight
MUMMA’S HOPE checked off the heels of KIKEM STORMY. Entering the back straight BOOM WARRIOR and
MUMMA’S HOPE collided causing MUMMA’S HOPE to race wide. In the back straight ROCKY BE GOOD faltered
and dropped to the rear and took no further competitive part in the event. The greyhound
ROCKY BE GOOD underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to
have suffered an injury to the off side achilles tendon and was stood down
for a period of 28 days. |

TOBIAS RUMBLE and EVIE’S ANGEL collided.
On the turn out of the home straight EL CHAD checked off the heels of
SIMPLY MAGIC. Entering the back
straight SARAJEVO GIRL checked off the heels of SIMPLY MAGIC causing SIMPLY
MAGIC to drop back sharply taking no further competitive part in the event. The greyhound SIMPLY MAGIC underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 28 days. |

WAREHOUSE 5th GRADE 520M SO KAWAII was best to begin with VELOCITY KALINA and TEE
SNOW slowly away. Entering the turn
out of the home straight STEVE’S JEWEL and UNIQUE MOTIVE collided causing
UNIQUE MOTIVE to shift out checking COOPOLLY BEACH. On the turn TEE SNOW was wide. In the back straight TEE SNOW was
wide. On the turn out of the back
straight SO KAWAII and CELESTIAL SELENE collided. In the top turn and home straight TEE SNOW
was wide. Approaching the finishing
line VELOCITY KALINA turned its head outwards failing to make contact with
KNEW YOU WOULD. The greyhound VELOCITY KALINA underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards advised trainer Mr. S Scott that
the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 (A) Failing to Pursue, 1st
offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks. |
