CLOCK was best to begin with LAST ONE OUT slowly away. Entering the turn out of the home straight
GUNNY’S RUNNER and COSMIC YESSAM collided.
On the turn out of the home straight LAST ONE OUT was wide. Entering the back straight OFF AND ON and
LAST ONE OUT collided. Entering the
turn out of the back straight LAST ONE OUT checked off the heels of COSMIC
YESSAM. Entering the turn into the
home straight COSMIC YESSAM and LAST ONE OUT collided. In the home straight LAST ONE OUT turned
its muzzle outwards and made contact with COSMIC YESSAM. The
greyhound COSMIC YESSAM underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. The
greyhound LAST ONE OUT underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. Stewards
advised trainer Mr. M Patterson that the greyhound would be charged under
Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory
stewards’ trial 520m all tracks. |

HEAT 1 5th GRADE 520M MINNIE IMPACT was best to begin with OUTBACK SUNSHINE
slowly away. Approaching the winning
post on the 1st occasion ARDEN STREET and PETITE ZIP ZIP
collided. Entering the turn out of the
home straight ARDEN STREET, PASS YOU BY and ARABIAN SHREDDER all collided
forcing PASS YOU BY wide on the turn.
In the back straight PASS YOU BY was wide. Entering the top turn COSMO CYNDIE checked
off the heels ARDEN STREET with MINNIE IMPACT taking no further competitive
part in the event. In the home
straight PASS YOU BY was wide. The greyhound MINNIE IMPACT underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
side hip and was stood down for a period of 10 days. Stewards questioned trainer Mr. R Burman
regarding the greyhound’s performances.
Mr. Burman advised that he didn’t support the greyhound and that he
thought the greyhound didn’t back up from Monday night. |

NEYMAR MAGIC and BAZZA’S ISSUE collided.
On the turn out of the home straight HONEY HORNET, JURY and SPRING
MARSHALL were all racing tight and bumping.
Entering the back straight SO KAWAII checked off the heels of
JURY. In the back straight BAZZA’S
ISSUE was wide. Entering the turn out
of the back straight SPRING MARSHALL checked off the heels of SO KAWAII,
causing SPRING MARSHALL to drop back checking NEYMAR MAGIC. In the home straight BAZZA’S ISSUE turned
its head inwards and made muzzle contact with SO KAWAII. The greyhound BAZZA’S ISSUE underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards advised trainer Mr. M Wells that
the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 2nd offence,
3 months plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks. The greyhound SPRING MARSHALL underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
fore webbing and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |
