Even start with THAT HOUDINI slowly away.  On the turn out of the home straight KULU STING was wide.  On the turn PARTIAL DEFENCE checked off the heels of THAT HOUDINI.  In the back straight and top turn KULU STING was wide.

 

The greyhound KULU STING, underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.  Stewards advised trainer Mr. J Clarson  that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 71 Unsatisfactory Performance and must perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m Albion Park track prior to nomination.

FAST TIMES was best to begin with NAUGHTY NALA slowly away.  On the turn out of the home straight ISSUE checked off the heels of VEE BEE DOOLEY.  Entering the back straight CHIPS AHOY checked off the heels of DREAM BLASTER causing DREAM BLASTER to race wide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight DREAM BLASTER checked off the heels of VEE BEE DOOLEY causing VEE BEE DOOLEY to race wide on the turn and home straight.

BOGIE MIRACLE was best to begin with a SANDAVE BELLAIRE and ARDEN STREET slowly away.  Approaching the turn out of the home straight SANDAVE BELLAIRE and ARDEN STREET collided.  Entering the turn out of the home straight GAGAN CEE JAY checked off the heels of KIKEM ZEST causing GAGAN CEE JAY to NEYMAR MAGIC.  On the turn out of the home straight ARDEN STREET checked off the heels of GAGAN CEE JAY with NAMROD wide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight GAGAN CEE JAY and NEYMAR MAGIC collided.  Entering the home straight NAMROD and GAGAN CEE JAY collided.

 

The greyhound GAGAN CEE JAY underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.  Trainer Mr. R Attard was questioned by stewards and advised that he though the greyhound was winded on the 1st turn and he didn’t support the greyhound.

SUITE ALEXIS and SPRING BONANZA were best to begin with the remainder evenly away.  Soon after the start COSMO TRAV, CHEEKY CHANCE and GOT A BROTHER all collided.  Approaching the winning post on the 1st occasion JOE’S DRINKING and PATRONUS collided.  On the turn out of the home straight COSMO TRAV checked off the heels of PATRONUS.  Entering the back straight JOE’S DRINKING checked off the heels of SPRING BONANZA causing SPRING BONANZA to drop back sharply.  In the back straight COSMO TRAV was wide.  In the home straight CHEEKY CHANCE was wide.

The greyhound IRONBAR JILL underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound RATATAT underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side wrist and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
