ROAD and WHITE EAGLE were best to begin.
Rounding the turn out of the back straight FROSTY WITCH was tightened
for racing room and contacted the rail and was checked as a consequence. BAJA which was trailing was checked as a
result of this incident. The
greyhound FROSY WITCH underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was
found to have suffered an injury to the off hind foot and was stood down for
a period of 7 days. |

MAIDEN HEAT 1 331M Even start with the exception of HOT MOONLIT NITE which
was marginally slow to begin. In the
back straight HOT MOONLIT NITE shifted in and contacted the rail and was
checked as a consequence. Rounding the
turn out of the back straight DRUID PRINCE and COMANCECI collided resulting
in DRUID PRINCE to be checked and lose ground. MAYBE PETE which was trailling was checked
as a consequence. Rounding the turn
into the front straight HOT MOONLITE NITE and MAYBE PETE collided resulting
in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. The greyhound HOT MOONLITE NITE underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN HEAT 2 331M Even start
with the exception of HEARTLAND FLASH and COLLIDING which were both slow to
begin. Entering the back straight
CANUTE’S LAW was tightened for racing room, checked and fell as a consequence
taking no further competitive part in the race. HEARTLAND FLASH, SASSY SONYA and NOT FAR
ZUESS were all checked as a result of this incident and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight
SAMURAI PIZZACAT and BEHAVE YOURSELF collided resulting in both greyhounds to
be checked and lose ground. HEARTLAND
FLASH which was trailling was checked as a consequence and lost ground. The greyhound
CANUTE’S LAW underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent
injuries were found. |

very slow to begin. In the front
straight CANDY CRUISE and TAJO collided resulting in both greyhounds to be
checked and lose ground. |

out. Entering the back straight HOT
PYJMAMAS was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. PIPELINE PIP raced wide rounding the turn
into the front straight. The greyhound PIPELINE PIP underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the back
and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

GRADE 331M SECRET SHAY ANNA and SEA OF JOY were best to begin. In the back straight NOAKI FLYER was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the front straight
JIMARY NEMESIS improved onto the heels of NOAKI FLYER to be severely checked
and fell as a consequence taking no further competitive part in the race. JIMARY NEMESIS and DEEJAY BURN were both
severely checked as a result of this incident losing considerable ground. The greyhound NOAKI FLYER underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound LUCKY TALISMAN underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 6 weeks. |

Entering the back straight HEARD A WHISPER was tightened for racing
room, checked and fell taking no further competitive part in the race. TRAV’S MAGIC which was trailing was
severely checked and lost considerable ground as a result of this incident. The greyhound TRAV’S MAGIC underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound HEARD A WHISPER underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
hind webbing and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |
