Stewards Trial 1 – 520m The greyhound QUINTASTIC
performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m in a time
of 30.52 and is now cleared all tracks except Brisbane until after 19 March
2017. The greyhound MAYBE
PETE performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m in a
time of 31.37 and is now cleared all tracks except Ipswich. The greyhound MAM’S
MAGIC performed a satisfactory stewards’ and blinker trial over the distance
of 520m in a time of 30.63 and is now cleared all tracks except Brisbane
until after 29 March 2017. The greyhound
ISOBELLA’S MAGIC performed a satisfactory blinker trial over the distance of
520m in a time of 30.67. Stewards Trial 1 – 331m The greyhound TURBO
MAN performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 331m in a
time of 19.54 and is now cleared all tracks. The greyhound NOOSA
NOMAD performed a satisfactory Return to Racing trial over the distance of
331m in a time of 2025. |

ALABAR was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Entering the back straight BONKNOCKA LASS
and MYONA MORPHEUS collided resulting in MYONA MORPHEUS being checked and
lose ground. The
greyhound MYONA MORPHEUS underwent a post race veterinarian examination and
no apparent injuries were found. |

HOUND MAIDEN FINAL 520M Even start with the exception of VISIGOTH which was slow
to begin. Shortly after the start
FRIENDZ, MAJAK BENZ and ELLA GRACIA raced tight resulting in MAJAK BENZ to be
checked and lose ground. Shortly after
ELLA GRACIA and BIG BAD BOB collided resulting in BIG BAD BOB to be checked
and lose ground. ELLA GRACIA raced
wide rounding the turn out of the front straight. Approaching the turn into the back straight
VISIGOTH was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight
BIG BAD BOB was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the front
straight SCIPIO AFRICANUS and BIG BAD BOB collided. In the front straight SCIPIO AFRICANUS and
BIG BAD BOB bumped on a number of occasions. |

best to begin. Shortly after the start
WAIKARIE NOEL was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight
PHANTOM HENRY checked across heels and was momentarily hampered. |

CLINT’S CARAVAN WAREHOUSE 5th GRADE 520M The greyhound ABBY NORMAL underwent a pre race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found and was passed
fit to race. SPRING RUNNER and HARA’S STORM were best to begin. Shortly after the start IMA RUNAWAY was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. In the front straight on the 1st
occasion NEYMAR MAGIC commenced to give ground to finish a considerable
distance from the remainder of the field.
IMA RUNAWAY raced wide rounding the turn out of the front
straight. Approaching the turn into
the back straight IMA RUNAWAY improved onto the heels of SPORTFAN and was
checked as a consequence. Rounding the
turn into the back straight AWESOME WILLS commenced to give ground to finish
a considerable distance from the remainder of the field. ALLPA MAMA and IMA RUNAWAY collided on the
turn into the front straight. The greyhound AWESOME WILLS underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 14 days. The greyhound NEYMAR MAGIC underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
side hip and was stood down for a period of 14 days. |

veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found and was passed
fit to race. STILL COUNTING and SUMMER QUAYS were best to begin. Rounding the turn out of the front straight
FATHER NOEL and RENALD’S RIVALRY collided. |

SKY RACING 5th GRADE 520M JOYCE RUMBLE and SHAQTIN’S A FOOL were best to
begin. Shortly after the start YOUR MY
STAR shifted out which hampered the running of CHILL JILL, COSMIC CAPERS and
RUMBLE DRIVE. Leaving the front straight
CHILL JILL and COSMIC CAPERS collided which resulted in COSMIC CAPERS shifting
out, which resulted in YOUR MY STAR to make heavy contact with its
hindquarters. All greyhounds lost
considerable ground as a result of this incident. YOUR MY STAR commenced to give ground in
the back straight and retire from the race.
Rounding the turn into the front straight SHAQTIN’S A FOOL and RUMBLE
DRIVE collided. SOLTADOR, which was
trailing, was checked as a consequence. The greyhound CHILL JILL underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
side hip and was stood down for a period of 10 days. The greyhound YOUR MY STAR underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
side hock and was humanely euthanised. |

GRADE 520M COSMO BILL was best to begin. Rounding the turn out of the front straight
HESPERIDES was tightened for racing room, shifted out and made heavy contact
with PUNCH RIGHT OUT, which in turn made heavy contact with CHILLED
HEAT. As a consequence both HESPERIDES
and CHILLED HEAT fell and took no further competitive part in the race. PUNCH RIGHT OUT was severely checked and
lost considerable ground as a result of this incident. The greyhound CHILLED HEAT underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound HESPERIDES underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
side pin and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

straight on the 1st occasion THURSDAY WISH shifted out and
collided with DREAM BLASTER which resulted in DREAM BLASTER then shifting out
and colliding with SPRING SHANAE resulting in both greyhounds to be checked
and race wide. In the front straight
DREAM BLASTER and SPRING SHANAE collided on a number of occasions resulting
in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. Rounding the turn out of the front straight
SPRING SHANAE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Entering the front straight during the run
to the finish THURSDAY WISH and NOVELLA collided resulting in both greyhounds
to be checked and lose ground. |
