GREYHOUND SPORTING CLUB MAIDEN HEAT 1 395M MYONA
MORPHEUS and LORD SIRIUS were best to begin.
Rounding the turn out of the back straight CHIEF ROSE HI was tightened
for racing room, checked and lost ground. |

ZILLMERE SPORTS CLUB
MAIDEN HEAT 2 395M Even start.
Through the 1st turn ANNIE UNDERCOVER was tightened for
racing room, checked and lost ground.
Shortly after GOLD LINER was tightened for racing room, checked and
lost ground. ANNIE UNDERCOVER, which
was trailing, was checked as a consequence and lost ground. ANNIE UNDERCOVER
commenced to give ground in the back straight. The greyhound ANNIE UNDERCOVER underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards advised trainer Mr. D Moore that
the greyhound would be charged under Rule 71 Unsatisfactory Performance and
must perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial 395m all tracks prior to
nominating. |

VELOCITY LINDER and KULU DOT COM were best to begin. Through the 1st turn KULU ZORRO
was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. |

GLEN GALLON @ STUD NOVICE 395M Even start.
Shortly after the start BUNDY BUCKS, SAMURAI PIZZACAT, PERFECT LADY,
BLUE DOT, COSMIC REX and RAQUEL’S MAGIC race tight resulting in all
greyhounds to be checked to varying degrees.
Through the 1st turn BUNDY BUCKS and SAMURAI PIZZACAT were
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. BLUE DOT which was trailing was checked as
a consequence and lost ground.
Rounding the turn out of the back straight SAMURAI PIZZACAT improved
onto the heels of BUNDY BUCKS resulting in BUNDY BUCKS to be checked and lose
ground. Entering the front straight
PERFECT LADY and BLUE DOT collided. |

CLINT’S
CARAVAN WAREHOUSE NOVICE 395M Even start with the exception of SATAN’S GIFT and
WAITKARIE NOEL which were both marginally slow to begin. Through the 1st turn SATAN’S
GIFT was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. CAPTAIN MORSE and GOLD SHERONA which were
racing to its outside were checked as a consequence and lost ground. |

BRISGREYS.COM 5th GRADE HEAT 1 395M The ‘all clear’ of this race was delayed to allow the
stewards the opportunity to view the available patrol film to determine
whether any greyhounds chances in the race were materially effected. Of concerns to the stewards was that there
was a bird in the back straight on the track.
After viewing the all available footage, Stewards were of the view that no
greyhounds chances were materially affected and therefore gave the ‘all
clear’. Even start with the exception of LION EAGLE which was
marginally slow to begin. Approaching
the turn into the back straight SPORTFAN was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. HOLLY KNOCKS,
GOTCHA CHA CHA, COSMO LEN and LION EAGLE which were all trailing were checked
as a consequence and lost ground. |

SKY RACING 3/4th
GRADE 395M Even start.
Through the 1st turn TOLL EVASION and SHANAE’S MAGIC were
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. SPILLING SECRETS which was racing to the
outside of SHANAE’S MAGIC was severely checked as a result of this incident
and fell taking no further competitive part in the race. The greyhound SPILLING SECRETS underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound SHANAE’S MAGIC underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
side wrist and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

racing room, checked and lost ground.
Shortly after SIMPLY MAGIC and TRAV’S GIFT were tightened for racing
room, checked and lost ground. The greyhound SIMPLY MAGIC underwent a
post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound TRAV’S GIFT underwent a
post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

to begin. Through the 1st
turn TRAV’S MAGIC and WESTERN HONEY were both tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. Rounding the
turn out of the back straight TRAV’S MAGIC improved onto the heels of BRAE
GIFT and was momentarily hampered. Entering
the front straight MILKY CHANCE and CLASSIC TERRA collided resulting in both
greyhound to be checked and lose ground. |

slow to begin. Through the 1st
turn HERO HAYDOS was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. BOGART BLEND which was trailing was
severely checked, fell and took no further competitive part in the race. The greyhound BOGART BLEND underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

room, severely checked, fell and took no further competitive part in the
race. Approaching the turn out of the
back straight LETHAL KID was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. The greyhound CHASING RAINBOWS underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |
