start. Shortly after the start HA HA
CLASSY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Leaving the back straight SPIFFY and HA HA
CLASSY collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose
ground. PINK COLLISION raced wide in
the back and front straights. The
greyhound HA HA CLASSY underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

MAIDEN HEAT 2 331M Even start with the exception of REGAL LEN went up with
the lids and lost ground. Entering the back straight MEMPHIS and
DAISY DREAMS collided resulting in DAISY DREAMS to be checked and lose
ground. Leaving the back straight
RICHMOND ROAD and DAISY DREAMS collided resulting in both greyhounds to be
checked and lose ground. As a result
of this incident DAISY DREAMS shifted out and collided with CASEY WHISPER
resulting in CASEY WHISPER to be checked and lose ground. |

Entering the back straight AIM and TAJO collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. Shortly after DUSTY ROCKS was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. COLLIDING which was trailing was checked as a consequence and lost ground. Leaving the back straight COLLIDING was tightened for racing room, checked, shifted out and collided with AIM resulting in both greyhounds to be severely checked and lose considerable ground. |

marginally slow to begin. Shortly
after the start TOO MANY BILLS was tightened for racing room, checked and
lost ground. Approaching the turn into
the back straight WAIKARIE NOEL was tightened for racing room, checked and
lost ground. Leaving the back straight
TOO MANY BILLS was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. GHOST STORY which was racing to its outside
was checked as a consequence and lost ground.
Rounding the turn into the front straight WAIKARIE NOEL was tightened
for racing room, checked and lost ground.
REGAL HOPE which was racing to its outside was checked as a
consequence and lost ground. |

BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY 5th GRADE 395M Even start.
Through the 1st turn LUCKMAN and SUNNYSIDE STYLE collided
resulting in SUNNYSIDE STYLE to be checked and lose ground. Leaving the back straight SUNNYSIDE STYLE
was tightened for racing room, made contact with the running rail and was
checked as a consequence. The greyhound SUNNYSIDE STYLE underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound EGYPTIAN MISS underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. When questioned over the performance of the
greyhound trainer Mr. T Elson reported that the greyhound was having its 2nd
start after a short letup and it would be his intention to build it up to
race over the 520m and eventually over the 600m as he was of the view the
greyhound races best over those distances.
Whilst it suffered some minor interference in the early stages of the
race Mr. Elson was not overly disappointed with its performance in tonight’s
event. |

GRADE 395M Even start. Through
the 1st turn CORY’S DIAMOND and WIGGLE were both tightened for
racing room, checked and lost ground.
Leaving the back straight WIGGLE shifted in and made contact with the
running rail and was checked as a consequence. Rounding the turn into the front straight
CORY’S DIAMOND and SCARLET BLACK collided. The greyhound WIGGLE underwent a post-race veterinarian
examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off hind leg and
was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

BOGART BLEND raced tight resulting in SMASHNIAK CLASS and WINGED ELITE to be
severely checked and lose considerable ground. Leaving the back straight BLACK STEEL was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. The greyhound SMASHNIAK CLASS underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |
