GREYHOUND SPORTING CLUB MAIDEN 395M KAY
CEE SAZIA and SUPERBANK were slow to begin.
Entering the back straight COUNTY COIN was tightened and lost ground
and SUPERBANK which was following was hampered. SUPERBANK and KRANKY collided entering the
top turn. The
greyhound KRANKY underwent a post-race veterinary examination, was found to
have suffered an injury to the near hind foot, and was stood down for a
period of 10 days. |

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE 395M COMANECI and
TROUBLING TIMES were best to begin. In
the 1st turn QUICK AND LIVELY, VINAKA HOLLY, SQUARE BARE and SPARK
YOU UP were severely tightened and lost ground and SAY GOOD DAY that was
following was inconvenienced. |

GLEN GALLON @ STUD 5th GRADE 395M POPULAR BELIEF and RAQUEL’S MAGIC were best to
begin. Shortly after the start
SWIZZLESTICK, HANNAH’S BELL and DUSTY’S CHANCE were all checked. DAVID’S MEMORY and POPULAR BELIEF were
tightened entering the back straight and lost ground. In the back straight HANNAH’S BELL checked
off heels and lost ground. |

CARAVAN WAREHOUSE 5th GRADE 395M HARBOUR DRIVE and ADHARA STEEL were best to begin. In the 1st turn HARBOUR DRIVE
was tightened and lost ground. Shortly
after, REGAL HOPE checked off heels and collided with SOLO DANCER and LUCKY
WISH that lost ground. Entering the
top turn LUCKY WISH contacted the running rail and became unbalanced. The greyhound LUCKY WISH underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

BRISGREYS.COM 4/5th GRADE 395M GUTENBERG and CLASSIC TERRA were slow to begin. GUTENBERG was hampered in the 1st
turn. Leaving the 1st turn
BRAE GIFT, WESTERN HONEY, CLASSIC TERRA and TOLL EVASION were all
hampered. In the back straight
GUTENBERG improved onto the heels of BETTA BE QUICK and both greyhounds were
checked and lost ground. Entering the
top turn BRAE GIFT was tightened and lost ground. BETTA BE QUICK was checked in the top
turn. In the top turn WESTERN HONEY
improved onto the heels of CLASSIC TERRA and both greyhounds were
checked. Shortly after, BRAE GIFT and
CLASSIC TERRA collided and became severely unbalanced. TOLL EVASION was also hampered as a result
of this incident. |

SKY RACING 5th
GRADE FINAL 395M Even
start. Shortly after the start CHULU
CHULULU was tightened and became severely unbalanced. Shortly after, INNER WISDOM and BELLA LEE
collided causing BELLA LEE to lose ground.
At the same time LETHAL KID and FARMOR CHIPS bumped resulting in
MASTER CORSAIR that was following to be hampered. In the back straight INNER WISDOM shifted
wide hampering MASTER CORSAIR that was following. In the top turn LETHAL KID and FARMOR CHIPS
collided causing FARMOR CHIPS to lose ground. |

BEST 8 395M CAPTAIN’S KNOCK was slow to
begin. PLUM JAM, FABULOUS WALL, HARRY
BAILEY and BETTA BE RIGHT raced tight and bumped in the 1st turn
causing BETTA BE RIGHT to lose ground.
Approaching the top turn HARRY BAILEY was tightened and lost
ground. Entering the top turn OBIN
TOMMY checked off heels with FASHION ADVICE and FABULOUS WALL that were
following were hampered. The greyhound HARRY BAILEY underwent a
post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. When questioned on the performance of the
greyhound trainer Mr. C. Byers informed stewards that he was unhappy with the
greyhound’s run, and noted that it was possibly the greyhound’s poorest
performance in recent times. He could not offer any tangible explanation for
the greyhound’s performance. Stewards noted that there was no substantial
wagering activity detected in relation to this greyhound. |

GRADE 395M FEARLESS DANCER was best to begin while MILLION DOLLAR,
ALPHA HECTOR and CHAMPAGNE SALLY were slowly away. In the 1st turn MIDNIGHT HAYZE,
MONOCEROS and CORY’S DIAMOND all raced tight and unbalanced. This caused MIDNIGHT HAYZE to shift in and
collide with MILLION DOLLAR and both greyhounds lost ground. CHAMPAGNE SALLY that was following was
severely inconvenienced. Entering the
top turn CHAMPAGNE SALLY and MILLION DOLLAR collided and lost ground. The greyhound MILLION DOLLAR underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound CHAMPAGNE SALLY underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound MAM’S MAGIC underwent a post-race
veterinary examination, was found to have suffered an injury to the off hind
leg, and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

greyhounds were hampered. |

1st turn TRISHA NOLAN was hampered. Leaving the 1st turn SHAYLOR
BART was tightened as DUSTY ROCKS shifted in, causing both greyhounds to lose
significant ground. In the top turn
