ALPHA HERMES and SLICK collided causing both greyhounds to falter and take no
further competitive part I the event.
In the back straight ALPHA HERMES was wide. In the home straight RUSTY’S IMAGE was
wide. The greyhound SLICK underwent a post race veterinarian
examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound ALPHA HERMES underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
hind leg and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

competitive part in the event. In the

Entering the turn out of the home straight SIZEABLE checked off the
heels of ROMAN ARMOUR causing SIZEABLE to drop back checking EMMA’S
MAGIC. On the turn out of the home
straight SMACK DAB checked off the heels of COOPOLLY BEACH. Entering the back straight SIZEABLE checked
off the heels of SMACK DAB. In the
back straight SWIFT NIMROD was wide.
Entering the home straight SMACK DAB turned its head outwards and made
muzzle contact with SWIFT NIMROD causing these 2 greyhounds to race wide in
the home straight. The greyhound EMMA’S MAGIC underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards advised trainer Mrs. P Field that the greyhound
would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 2nd offence, 3 months plus
a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks. |
