GALAXY, YOU CALLED and ALPHA GEORGIOU were best to begin. Shortly after the start LITTLE LUCY,
NOTHING ELSE and PAUA TO LAUNCH were tightened for racing room, checked and

informed trainer Mr. N Tonks of their concerns regarding LOOSE TABACCO
actions rounding the turn into the front straight however, could not be
comfortably satisfied that the greyhound had failed to pursue the lure at
that stage of the race and therefore gave it the benefit of the doubt. |

FAB DOOLEY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. MY MOJO commenced to give ground in the
back straight to finish a considerable distant from the remainder of the
field. The greyhound MY MOJO underwent a post race veterinarian
examination and no apparent injuries were found. When questioned over the performance of the
greyhound trainer Mr. M James stated that the greyhound had trialled at
Albion Park the previous week in a time of 31.60 however, in his view it was out
graded in tonight’s event as the greyhound is eligible to be in a novice race
whereas tonight was a Grade 5. He
stated that it would be his intention to restrict MY MOJO future racing to a
novice only or at a country track.
Whilst stewards were of the view that the performance of MY MOJO
bordered on unsatisfactory after considering Mr. M James’ evidence they were prepared
to give the greyhound one more chance to race in the desired manner. |
