THIRTY TALKS
@ STUD MAIDEN HEAT 1 395M KULU
TIUPPENCE and ALBURY WAY were best to begin.
Shortly after the start MAD GIRL, WOODY’S SPECIAL and SMASHNIAK CROWN
were hampered. In the 1st
turn KULU TUPPENCE and ALBURY WAY collided and were unbalanced. Entering the back straight SMASHNIAK CROWN checked
off heels and fell, taking no further part in the event. SIXTEEN WINX that was following was
hampered as a result. Approaching the
top turn ALBURY WAY improved onto the heels of KULU TUPPENCE and both
greyhounds were checked. The
greyhound SMASHNIAK CROWN underwent a post-race veterinary examination and
was found to have suffered an injury to the off side pin and was stood down
for a period of 10 days. |

MAIDEN HEAT 2 395M BOCELLI, WHO IT IS, ITCHY FINGER and SHOW LEE DOLLARS
were marginally slow to begin. In the
1st turn I’M GLAD and SHOW BEKIM collided causing interference to
I’M GLAD, IRISH SPICE, SHOW LEE DOLLARS and ITCHY FINGER. ITCHY FINGER and SHOW LEE DOLLARS lost
significant ground as a result.
Leaving the 1st turn BOCELLI turned its head outwards
towards the runner to its outside.
Entering the back straight I’M GLAD checked off heels. Approaching the top turn SHOW LEE DOLLARS
was tightened and lost ground and I’M GLAD that was following was
hampered. Leaving the top turn BOCELLI
marred the running of WHO IT IS which was racing to its outside. As a result of this incident SHOW BEKIM was
forced to shift wide entering the home straight. The greyhound SHOW LEE DOLLARS underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off fore toe and
was stood down for a period of 10 days. Stewards advised trainer Mr. S. Staples that the
greyhound BOCELLI would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st
offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 395m all tracks. Following this race the track rating was altered to
‘slow’. |

UBET – DOWNLOAD THE APP MAIDEN HEAT 3 395M The greyhound
KAY MISS KNOCKA underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and no apparent
injuries were found. The greyhound was passed fit to start. KAWATI SON
and SMASHNIAK BULLET were best to begin. Shortly after the start SPRING ITCH, BOGAN
LAD and TRENCH VAPOUR all raced tight causing SPRING ITCH and BOGAN LAD to
lose ground. Entering the back
straight TRENCH VAPOUR checked off heels and lost ground. Entering the home straight SMASHNIAK BULLET
checked off heels and lost ground and shortly after collided with NO
VISA. SPRING ITCH was wide in the home
straight. |

GLASSHOUSE GREYHOUND SPORTING CLUB NOVICE 395M TREAGLE TRIUMPH underwent a pre-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound was passed fit
to start. KULU PYSCHO was best to begin while BACK ON TRACK and OUR
CAVALIER were marginally slow. In the
1st turn SIR TO YOU and OUR CAVALIER were tightened and lost
ground. Approaching the top turn OUR
CAVALIER improved onto the heels of SIR TO YOU and both greyhounds were
checked. Shortly after, COSMIC REX
improved onto the heels of OUR CAVALIER and both greyhounds became severely
unbalanced and lost ground. COSMIC REX
was wide in the home straight. |

RACING 5th GRADE HEAT 1 395M NIGHT TIME LOVER was best to begin while DANCING SOLO,
LIL’ BIT SPARKY and SPECIAL VIRTUE were marginally slow. Leaving the 1st turn NIGHT TIME
LOVER was tightened. In the back
straight NIGHT TIME LOVER and DANCING SOLO collided causing NIGHT TIME LOVER
to fall and take no further competitive part in the event. DANCING SOLO was hampered as a result of
this incident. HARBOUR DRIVE was wide
in the back straight. The greyhound NIGHT TIME LOVER underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY 5th GRADE HEAT 2 395M AZTEC FLASH was slow to begin. In the 1st turn AWESOME WILLS
and HARA’S HUMMER were tightened while AZTEC FLASH checked off heels. Entering the back straight PREMIER FRED was
tightened and shifted out. Approaching
the top turn PREMIER FRED and WHITE LINE DELL collided and lost significant
ground. Leaving the top turn HARA’S
HUMMER checked off heels colliding with AWESOME WILLS. WHITE LINE DELL was wide in the back
straight. The greyhound WHITE LINE DELL underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound PREMIER FRED underwent a post-race veterinary
examination, was found to have suffered an injury to the off side hock, and
was stood down for a period of 14 days. |

CARAVAN WAREHOURSE BEST 8 395M BETTA BE RIGHT was best to begin. In the 1st turn PLUM JAM,
CONVEX, LONESOME DUK and BARRA TRIP were tightened as WHERE’S TEJAY shifted
out and BARRA TRIP lost ground as a result. The greyhound BAZZA TRIP underwent a post-race
veterinary examination, was found to have suffered an injury to the back, and
was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

GRADE HEAT 4 395M LUCKY WISH, SHAKEY TANGO and DAY TIME FRIEND were best to
begin while KULU RUSTY was slowly away. Shortly after the start WHERE’S CODY
checked off heels and was unbalanced. Leaving the 1st turn HARA’S
BUNDY was tightened and lost ground. KULU RUSTY that was following was
hampered. In the back straight GET A LIFEBOUY improved onto the heels of DAY
TIME FRIEND and both were checked with DAY TIME FRIEND losing significant
ground. |

examination and no apparent injuries were found. LUCKMAN and SULTAN OF RUM were best to begin. Leaving the
first turn SAY GOOD DAY shifted out, tightening NAUGHTY JESS and TYSON’S
FANTASY, resulting in NAUGHTY JESS losing ground. Shortly after, BLOZA
shifted out hampering HOLLY KNOCKS. The greyhound NAUGHTY JESS underwent a post-race veterinary
examination, was found to have suffered an injury to the off side hock, and
was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

tightened and checked to varying degrees. Entering the back straight SAGE OF
OMAHA checked off heels and lost ground. The greyhound SPRINGFIELD BOY underwent a post-race veterinary
examination, was found to have suffered an injury to the off side hip, and
was stood down for a period of 10 days. |
