straight COMANECI checked off the
heels of ROLL SO DEEP causing COMANECI to drop back checking CYN’S MAGIC. Entering the turn in the home straight ROLL
SO DEEP and CYN’S MAGIC collided causing ROLL SO DEEP to race wide in the
home straight. The greyhound ROLL SO DEEP underwent a post race

GRADE 520M Even start with SIZEABLE slowly away. Soon after the start NATURAL LAD, MISS
BECKY SAM and SHOTOTSU all collided.
Entering the turn out of the home straight SHOTOTSU dropped back for
no apparent reason checking SIZEABLE.
In the back straight FAB HARRIET was wide. Entering the turn out of the back straight
BEACH FRONT checked off the heels of FAB HARRIET. On the top turn MISS BECKY SAM turned its
head outwards making muzzle contact on FAB HARRIET forcing these 2 greyhounds
wide into the home straight. The greyhound SHOTOTSU underwent a post race veterinarian
examination and was found to have suffered cramping and was stood down for a
period of 10 days. Stewards advised
trainer Mr. D McGrath that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 71 Unsatisfactory
Performance and must perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks
prior to nominating. Stewards advised trainer Mr. T Tzouvelis that the
greyhound MISS BECKY SAM would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st
offence, 28 days + satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks. |
