DOWNLOAD THE APP MAIDEN HEAT 1 331M Even
start with the exception of PEARL’S LIL GEM and RULE THE ROAD which were both
marginally slow to begin. Entering the
back straight PARIS QUEEN, WALL OF VOODOO and FLYING COMET were all tightened
for racing room, checked and lost ground.
RULE THE ROAD which was trailling was checked as a consequence. Leaving the back straight PARIS QUEEN
improved onto the heels of PEARL’S LIL GEM and both greyhounds were checked
as a consequence. WALL OF VOODOO raced
wide rounding the turn out of the back straight. MISS OSPREY raced wide round the turn into
the front straight. |

MAIDEN HEAT 2 331M Even start with the exception of SHOW LEE DOLLARS which
was slow to begin. Entering the back
straight PINATA was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. In the back straight SHOW LEE DOLLARS and
NAVAJO PRINCESS collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose
ground. SUPER CETTE raced wide
rounding the turn out of the back straight.

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN HEAT 3 331M Even start
with the exception of TIARA GLOW and TOOTSWEET which were both slow to
begin. Entering the back straight SAD
REALITY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Leaving the back straight REGAL LEN
improved onto the heels of WOOP WOOP KIT shifted out which hampered the
running of TIARA GLOW and SHE’S MY LADY The greyhound
SAD REALITY underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent
injuries were found. |

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD 5th GRADE 331M Even start with the exception of BACK ON TRACK and
THURLBY which were both marginally slow to begin. Entering the back straight THIRTY EIGHT was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Shortly after CLASSIC CHA CHA was tightened
for racing room, checked and lost ground.
MACFARLANE and THURLBY which were trailling were checked as a
consequence and lost ground. SENNI
LUCILLE raced wide from the back straight to entering the front straight. WILDASH GEE raced wide round the turn into
the front straight. The greyhound CLASSIC CHA CHA underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound MACFARLANE underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
hind leg and was stood down for a period of 21 days. |

@ BRISGREYS NOVICE 331M Even start with the exception of DAISY DREAMS which had
turned in the boxes and began extremely slow and took no competitive part in
the event. Entering the back straight
AL BUZZARD and SABANG were tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Leaving the back straight
CLOVER VICTORIA, SASHA’S IMAGE and VINAKA HOLLY all raced tight resulting in
all greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.
COMETRON FLYER which was trailling was checked as a consequence. Rounding the turn into the front straight
CLOVER VICTORIA checked across the heels of AL BUZZARD and lost ground. SABANG which was traillling was checked as
a conseqeunce. The greyhound DAISY DREAMS underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards advised trainer Mr. D Fitzgerald
that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 58 Turning in Boxes, and must
perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial 331m all tracks. |

CLINT’S CARAVAN WAREHOUSE 5th GRADE 395M The start was delayed when WAIKARIE SYLVIE proved
difficult to box. WAIKARIE SYLVIE will
be declared a ‘hard to box’ for its immediate racing future. Even start with the exception of BLUSHING
MEL which was slow to begin. Through
the 1st turn GOLD RAINS was tightened for racing room, checked and
lost ground. Entering the back
straight TAJO shifted out and collided with HANNAH JAY JAY resulting in both
greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.
Leaving the back straight FRISKY GAMLBER and CRAZY BEE LADY collided
resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. TAJO raced wide rounding the turn into the
front straight. The greyhound FRISKY GAMBLER underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
fore leg and was stood down for a period of 10 days. When questioned over the performance of
FRISKY GAMBLER trainer Mr. J Dart said the greyhound had worked well leading
up to the race and it recovered well from its previous start at Albion Park
on 31 May 2017 and was expecting a forward showing. He said the greyhound was well placed in
the race and he expected it to win however, after being found injured he was
satisfied with its overall performance.
He further stated that in his view FRISKY GAMLBER would not be able to
race successfully over the longer distances and therefore it would be his
intention to advise the owners to place the greyhound elsewhere. |

front straight JOE’S DRINKING improved onto the heels of SAMMURAI PIZZACAT
and was momentarily hampered. |

and NEGATIVE BUZZ collided. |

Shortly after the start SHYAN YAHOO and SHOW BOUND collided. Through the 1st turn BARRA FUN
and PLUM JAM were tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. YOUR DEAL commenced to give ground in the
back straight to finish a considerable distance from the remainder of the
field. The greyhound YOUR DEAL underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
side hip and was stood down for a period of 28 days. |

Shortly after the start MATT’S COURAGE and GOLDEN MANNERS collided
resulting in MATT’S COURAGE to be checked and lose ground. Through the 1st turn SMASHNIAK
CLASS and GO TO CONDONG were tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. At the same time MATT’S
COURAGE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Entering the back straight SMASHNIAK CLASS
and GO TO CONDONG collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and
lose ground. Leaving the back straight
SMASHNIAK CLASS was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight

NIGHTS which was both marginally slow to begin. Entering the back straight WISSUTA RULES
was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. COLD NIGHTS which was trailling was checked
as a consequence and lost ground.
Leaving the back straight CECIL BENZ, SPICE BUCKET and SWEET AND
CLASSY raced tight resulting in SPICE BUCKET to be severely checked, fell and
took no further part in the race with CECIL BENZ and SWEET AND CLASSY to be
checked and lose ground. ROYAL ALBERT
which was trailling was checked as a result of this incident and lost
considerable ground. The greyhound SPICE BUCKET underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
hind leg and was stood down for a period of 21 days. |
