REFUND REQUIRED performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of
395m in a time of 23.44. The greyhound DUSTY
ROCKS performed a reweigh trial over the distance of 395m in a time of 22.94
and the weight of 30.8. Stewards Trial 1 – 331m The greyhound MR.
SLY performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 331m in a
time of 19.15. |

BELVEDERE was best to begin. UMBRELLA
HARRY was slow to begin. Approaching
the turn out of the front straight TWIN GALAXY and ALPHA ATLAS collided
resulting in ALPHA ATLAS to be checked and lose ground. HAY MISS KNOCKA which was racing to its
outside was checked as a consequence and lost ground. Entering the front straight LOOSE TABACCO
was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. The
greyhound HAY MISS KNOCKA underwent a post race veterinarian examination and
no apparent injuries were found. The
greyhound ALPHA ATLAS underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

HOUND MAIDEN HEAT 2 520M Even start with the exception of ALPHA CHAOS which was
slow to begin. In the front straight
during the run to the finish SWIFT LEAH improved onto the heels of SPECIAL
COVER, checked and fell and took no further part in the race. The greyhound SWIFT LEAH underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

back straight AURIGA RAVEN was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. SHAKEY START which was

TWITTER @ BRISGREYS 0 – 3 WINS 600M Even start with the exception of ONE IN SIX and AURIGA
BINDI which were both marginally slow to begin. Approaching the turn into the front
straight on the 1st occasion ONE IN SIX and AURIGA BINDI
collided. Rounding the turn out of the
front straight ARE YOU THERE and MURSLEOW bumped resulting in both greyhounds
to be hampered. The greyhound SINGLETON underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. When questioned over the performance of the
greyhound trainer’s representative Mr. B Linnan expressed his disappointment
with the greyhound’s performance in tonight’s event. He said that SINGLETON had improved at its
previous start at Albion Park on 29 May where it ran 35.9 over the 600m and
expected a forward show. After considering
tonight’s run it would be his intention to retire the greyhound from racing. |

CARAVAN WAREHOUSE 5th GRADE HEAT 1 520M Even start.
Shortly after the start SPLENDID STAR shifted in and tightened the
racing room and MISS MINAJ, ROAD SCHOLAR, AVAMAY, SPORTFAN and ZILLIE BEAN
which resulted in all greyhounds to be checked to varying degrees and AVAMAY
losing considerable ground.
Approaching the turn out of the front straight MISS MINAJ was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight
ROAD SCHOLAR was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Entering the back straight SHEZA GOOD SIZE
checked across the heels of SPLENDID STAR and raced wide. PAW DIDEMIS which was trailling was checked
as a consequence. Leaving the back
straight PAW DIDEMIS was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Approaching the turn into the
front straight AVAMAY improved onto the heels of PAW DIDEMIS and was
momentarily hampered. |

SKY RACING 5th GRADE HEAT 2 520M WINGS OF PERLITA was best to begin. CAPREGAS was slow out. Shortly after the start PUNCH RIGHT OUT,
LALIQUE and CZARNY were all tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Entering the back straight PUNCH RIGHT OUT
and CAPREGAS collided. |

GRADE 600M Even start with the exception of HURRICANE CHANCE which
was marginally slow to begin. Rounding
the turn into the front straight on the 1st occasion MIDNIGHT
SHUFFLE and PLENTY OF PUNCH collided resulting in both greyhounds to be
checked and lose ground. Rounding the
turn out of the front straight PLENTY OF PUNCH and SPRING SHANAE collided
resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. The greyhound MIDNIGHT SHUFFLE underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. When questioned over the performance of
MIDNIGHT SHUFFLE trainer Mr. D Single reported that he was disappointed with
the greyhound’s effort in tonight’s race and it would be his intention to
retire the greyhound immediately. |

3/4th GRADE 520M Even start. Shortly after the start NATURAL LAD, RUN
KAY RUN, TORPEDO MAN and BOOM WARRIOR were tightened for racing room, checked
and lost ground. Leaving the front
straight RUN KAY RUN was tightened for racing room, severely checked and fell
and took no further part in the
race. BOOM WARRIOR, TORPEDO MAN and
ISSY COOL were checked as a result of this incident and lost considerable
ground. SWIFT NIMROD was severely
hampered as a result of this incident, blundered and took no further
competitive part in the race. The greyhound RUN KAY RUN underwent a
post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound SWIFT NIMROD underwent a
post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury
to the off side hock and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |
