WAY was best to begin while KULU CHANCE and GAS UP ISA were slow. In the 1st turn EMBER FLARE, GAS

greyhound GOLD DREAMER underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found. When questioned on the greyhound’s performance
Trainer Mrs. K. Hoggan advised that GOLD DREAMER
was unsettled when boxed for this event.
In her opinion, the greyhound was sufficiently fit to run the 395m distance
and that she did not expect the greyhound to lose ground as significantly as
it did over the concluding stages. However, she did make mention of the fact
that the greyhound was returning from a season. Stewards noted Mrs. Hoggan’s comments. |
