On the turn out of the home straight PRECIOUS TO ME shifted out
checking DAISY RUMBLE causing DAISY
RUMBLE to check MISS SPLENDAMIRO causing DAISY RUMBLE to race wide. Entering the back straight MISS SPLENDAMIRO
checked off the heels of PRECIOUS TO ME causing MISS SPLENDAMIRO to falter
and take no further competitive part in the event. In the home straight BON KNOCKA was wide. The
greyhound MISS SPLENDAMIRO underwent a post race veterinarian examination and
no apparent injuries were found. The
connections were questioned over the
betting activities and they could not offer any explanation. |

veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound DUNDEE OSPREY underwent a 2nd
post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury
to the near side pin and was stood down for a period of 10 days. The connections were questioned by stewards
after the 2nd inspection and they advised they were disappointed
with the run and advised it was out of character and they think maybe the
travel had caused the greyhound to be upset and they did not support the
greyhound. |
