GREYHOUND SPORTING CLUB MAIDEN 395M HESA
REBEL and KULU TUPPENCE began awkwardly.
Shortly after the start TIARA GLOW and KULU TUPPENCE collided. Leaving the 1st turn MAY ROAD
improved onto the heels of LOUIE THE FLYER and both greyhounds were
checked. COSMIC CRACKLE checked off
heels in the top turn and proceeded to race wide. In the top turn MAY ROAD and LOUIE THE
FLYER collided forcing LOUIE THE FLYER onto the running of GOLD DRIFT and
both greyhounds became unbalanced. |

UBET – DOWNLOAD THE
APP MAIDEN 395M SUCCATASH, ANY WHICH WAY and VALKYRIE BLUE were best to
begin. In the 1st turn BLUE
LEMONDADE, DRUID PRINCE, REGAL LEN and SUCCATASH collided causing DRUID
PRINCE, REGAL LEN and SUCCATASH to lose ground. Leaving the 1st turn GOLD
DREAMER was tightened. Entering the
back straight EMBER FLARE was tightened and lost ground. In the back straight REGAL LEN was checked
and lost ground. Approaching the top
turn EMBER FLARE and SUCCATASH collided and were unbalanced. |

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDNE FINAL 395M ALBURY WAY
was best to begin while GUNLEE GIRL and FLYING COMET were slow. Leaving the 1st turn GUNLEE
GIRL, SWIPE RIGHT, GLORIA’S CHOICE, POSSESSION and FLYING COMET came together
and were all inconvenienced. Entering
the home straight FLYING COMET checked off heels. |

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE 395M The start of this race was delayed as stewards held for
an interstate event. MINI VANS was marginally slow to begin. Leaving the 1st turn LOBCHA
shifted out hampering REGAL CYNDIE.
Entering the top turn MR. BLUE COMICS checked off heels and shifted
out colliding with REGAL CYNDIE causing both greyhounds to become severely
unbalanced and lose ground. The greyhound KAGO underwent a post-race veterinary
examination, was found to have suffered an injury to the off side shoulder
and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

CLINT’S CARAVAN WAREHOUND 5th GRADE FINAL 395M TAJO and VIKING BUDDY were marginally slow to begin. Leaving the 1st turn TAJO,
SULTAN OF RUM, MASTER CORSAIR, VIKING BUDDY and RATTLESNAKE CAFE were all
hampered and VIKING BUDDY lost ground.
Entering the back straight SULTAN OF RUM checked off heels. Entering the top turn MASTER CORSAIR, VIKING
BUDDY and RATTLESNAKE CAFE all collided and became severely unbalanced. SULTAN OF RUM that was following was
hampered as a result. The greyhound RATTLESNAKE CAFE underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. When questioned on the greyhound’s below
market expectation performance, trainer Mr. T. Medcalf explained that he
believed the box draw and wet track did not work in the greyhound’s favour.
As a result, he was not overly confident in the greyhound’s chances in this

GRADE 395M RED STEEL was slow to begin. In the 1st turn HARA’S HOOK, DAY
TIME FRIEND, CAPTAIN’S KNOCK and CORY’S DIAMOND were all tightened. In the back straight RED STEEL checked off
heels and lost ground. |

1 PHOTOGRAPHY BEST 8 395M TWO PARTS FREAK, PEBBLE BAY and BOGIE
LILLY were slow to begin. Leaving the
1st turn SHYAN YAHOO and LONESOME DUK collided. BOGIE LILY that was racing to the outside
was hampered. Entering the back
straight SHYAN YAHOO was tightened and lost ground. In the back straight TWO PARTS FREAK
checked off heels. Entering the top
turn SHYAN YAHOO was tightened. In the
top turn TWO PARTS FREAK checked off heels and was unbalanced. Shortly after, TWO PARTS FREAK and BOGIE
LILY collided. The greyhound SHYAN YAHOO underwent a post-race
veterinary examination, was found to have suffered an injury to the off hind
toe, and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

GRADE 520M THURSDAY WISH and STUBBORN STATE were best to begin while
IT’S ABOUT TIME, JOHYNNY THE FOX and HIM THE MASTER were slow. In the front straight SHAYLOR ANDRE was
tightened and lost ground. JOHNNY THE
FOX that was following was hampered.
In the 1st turn JOHNNY THE FOX and IT’S ABOUT TIME
collided. In the top turn HIM THE
MASTER and THURSDAY WISH collided causing THURSDAY WISH to lose ground and
BANY ROSE that was following to be hampered.
SHAYLOR ANDRE and BANY ROSE collided entering the home straight. Trainer of BANY ROSE Mr. R. Gaunt was reprimanded for failing
to have his greyhound prepared in a timely manner for this event. The start of this event was delayed as a
result. |

GRADE 395M MAX BE DONNA was slow to begin. In the first turn
MEMPHIS, PREMIER FRED, MR. DEXTER, REGAL HOPE and CUTE GAMBLER were all
tightened. MR. DEXTER, REGAL HOPE and CUTE GAMBLER lost ground as a result.
Approaching the top turn MEMPHIS was tightened and lost ground. The greyhound CUTE GAMBLER underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

GRADE 520M LUCKY WISH and DOLLAR AND CENT were slow to begin. In the 1st turn general
tightening resulted in interference to all runners excluding KULU
PYSCHO. In the back straight DOLLAR
AND CENT and PERIDOT raced tight and bumped.
Entering the top turn PERIDOT was hampered as DOLLAR AND CENT shifted
out. The greyhound PERIDOT underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. Trainer of PERIDOT Mr. A.
Green advised stewards that the greyhound would be spelling for at least two
weeks. |

GRADE 395M WHERE’S CODY was slow to begin. In the 1st turn general
tightening resulted in interference to all runners excluding DUSTY ROCKS and
INVAR STAR with all greyhounds checked to varying degrees and WHERE’S CODY
and PEANUT losing significant ground.
Entering the back straight TRAV’S GIFT was tight and lost ground. Entering the top turn WHERE’S CODY checked off
heels and lost ground. In the home
straight STORMAGEDDON checked off heels and became severely unbalanced. The greyhound STORMAGEDDON underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |
