IT performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 331m in a time
of 19.28. The greyhound DEB’S
PENNY performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 331m in a
time of 19.84. The greyhound REDDY
RANGER performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 331m in a
time of 19.55. The greyhound DAISY
DREAMS performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 331m in
a time of 19.02 and is now cleared all tracks. The greyhound
MASTER DEAN performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 331m
in a time of 19.64 and is now cleared all tracks except Capalaba. |

THE WAVE and ALPHA HEMERA were best to begin.
At the start ALPHA ATLAS was checked and lost ground. In the front straight CURL THE WAVE and
KYELLA collided and became unbalanced.
Passing the winning post on the 1st occasion CURL THE WAVE
and ALPHA HEMERA were tightened and both lost ground. In the 1st turn ITCHY FINGER
checked off heels. CURL THE WAVE and
ALPHA HEMERA collided leaving the 1st turn. |

HOUND MAIDEN FINAL 520M SIMMSY’S NINERON was best to begin. VIKING VIXEN was tightened shortly after
the start. In the front straight
PHANTOM HOUDINI was tightened and lost ground. Approaching the 1st turn
HABITUAL was checked and became severely unbalanced causing SIMMSY’S NINERON,
VIKING VIXEN, FLYING COMET and PHANTOM HOUDINI that were following to be
severely inconvenienced and lose significant ground. Leaving the 1st turn SIMMSY’S
NINERON shifted out hampering PHANTOM HOUDINI that was following. In the top turn PHANTOM HOUDINI contacted
the running rail and shifted out abruptly, colliding with HABITUAL. The greyhound FLYING COMET underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound PHANTOM HOUDINI underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE 520M ARFA SHOW
OFF, FIRED UP AGAIN and GREAT LANE were slow to begin. In the front straight ROCKIN’ ALL OVER was
tightened and lost ground. FIRED UP
AGAIN that was following improved onto the hindquarters of this greyhound and
both were severely checked. Shortly
after, SUPER PASS and SOME OTHER FOOL raced tight and bumped. In the 1st turn GREAT LANE
checked off heels and shifted out causing ARFA SHOW OFF to race wide through
the turn. In the 1st turn SUPER
PASS and SOME OTHER FOOL collided and became severely unbalanced. Shortly after, FIRED UP AGAIN and GREAT
LANE came together causing GREAT LANE to lose ground. |

hampered in the 1st turn.
Approaching the bottom turn DUDE PERFECT checked off heels and lost
ground. Leaving the bottom turn
SORRENTO checked off heels. In the
turn into the home straight SORRENTO and JIMARY NAVIGATOR bumped. JIMARY NAVIGATOR and DUDE PERFECT collided
in the home straight. |

CARAVAN WAREHOUSE 5th GRADE 520M ONE IN SIX was slow to begin. In the front straight POCKET BENZ was
checked and momentarily inconvenienced.
Approaching the top turn ONE IN SIX was tightened and lost ground. In the top turn POCKET BENZ and JACOBY
RAIDER came together. |

SKY RACING 4/5th GRADE 520M KINLOCH BEACH and COSADO SUN were best to begin while
JACKSON BENZ and CHANEL BENZ were slow.
ZILLIE BEAN was very slow to begin.
Entering the 1st turn CHANEL BENZ shifted out contacting
the hindquarters of JACKSON BENZ causing both greyhounds to become severely
unbalanced and lose ground. DOLLAR AND
CENT and LOVE SHAK that were following were inconvenienced as a result. Leaving the 1st turn JACKSON
BENZ and DOLLAR AND CENT collided. The greyhound JACKSON BENZ underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

GRADE 520M BARLYN AMY, BRIGHT SATELLITE and MORAYFIELD SWIFT were
best to begin while MILLION DOLLAR was slow.
Shortly after the start RICHMOND ROAD and BARBARA BENZ were
tightened. Approaching the 1st
turn PAUA TO LAUNCH was tightened and lost ground. BARBARA BENZ was wide in the 1st
turn. Entering the back straight
MILLION DOLLAR checked off heels and was momentarily hampered. BRIGHT SATELLITE was wide in the home
straight. |

In the 1st turn WAY OF SHADOWS clipped the heels of MISS
MINAJ and fell, taking no further part in the event. The greyhound WAY OF SHADOWS underwent a post-race veterinary
examination, was found to have suffered an injury to the back, and was stood
down for a period of 10 days. |

5th GRADE 520M THURSDAY WISH was best to begin. In the 1st turn OLD MOON MADNESS
checked off the hindquarters of IMA RUNAWAY.
Shortly after, IMA RUNAWAY checked off heels. Through the 1st turn OLD MOON
MADNESS and SAY GOOD DAY raced tight and unbalanced, and both greyhounds lost
ground as a result. Entering the top
turn SAY GOOD DAY was tightened and shifted out. The greyhound OLD MOON MADNESS underwent a post-race veterinary
examination, was found to have suffered an injury to the near side hip, and
was stood down for a period of 7 days. |
