IT IS was best to begin with PARTY EVERY DAY slowly away. Soon after the start PHANTOM HENRY shifted
out checking JAY BAY and BUTTON PUSHER causing JAY BAY to drop back
sharply. Approaching the winning post
on the 1st occasion BLUE LEMONADE and OCEAN GAMBLER collided. On the turn out of the home straight JAY
BAY checked off the heels of OCEAN GAMBLER.
Entering the back straight PARTY EVERY DAY checked off the heels of
BUTTON PUSHER causing PARTY EVERY DAY to falter. In the back straight PHANTOM HENRY and
BUTTON PUSHER collided. In the home
straight PHANTOM HENRY was wide.
Approaching the winning post PHANTOM PETE and BLUE LEMONADE were
racing tight and bumping. The
greyhound PARTY EVERY DAY underwent a post race veterinarian examination and
no apparent injuries were found. The

HOUND 5th GRADE 600M This race was delayed 30 seconds due to an interstate
harness event. CHEEKY CHANCE was best to begin with MISS BECKY SAM and
DONNY’S BEACH slowly away. In the home
straight on the 1st occasion HARA’S BUNDY was wide. Entering the turn out of the home straight
CHEEKY CHANCE checked off the heels of HARA’S BUNDY. Entering the back straight DONNY’S BEACH
checked off the heels of CHEEKY CHANCE.
Entering the home straight DONNY’S BEACH turned its head outwards
failing to make contact on the greyhound CHEEKY CHANCE. In the home straight MISS BECKY SAM was
wide. Stewards advised trainer Mr. S Scott that the greyhound
DONNY’S BEACH would be charged under Rule 69 (B) Failing to Pursue with
injury, 1st offence, the greyhound underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
side hip and was stood down for a period of 14 days plus a satisfactory
stewards’ trial 600m all tracks. |

start BURRUM STARSKY and THROTTLE ON collided. Entering the turn out of the home straight
THROTTLE ON checked off the heels of MIDNIGHT DASHER. On the turn out of the home straight BURRUM
STARSKY checked off the heels of BON KNOCKA causing BURRUM STARSKY to shift
out checking SPRING FORTE and THROTTLE ON causing these 2 greyhounds to race
wide. In the back straight MIDNIGHT DASHER
was wide. Entering the turn out of the
back straight SHUNT MAN checked off the heels of ONE DOLLAR. On the turn out of the back straight BURRUM
