GREYHOUND SPORTING CLUB MAIDEN HEAT 1 395M MISS
AMELIA and SUCCATASH were best to begin.
Leaving the 1st turn NARRINA and WILLY TOULA were tightened
and momentarily hampered. This caused
ZAC ELFRON and AMBURLA that were following to be hampered. Entering the top turn DYNAMITE PACE was
tightened and lost ground. The
greyhound ZAC ELFRON underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

UBET – DOWNLOAD THE
APP MAIDEN HEAT 2 395M QUITE SINCERE and WISE MISTY were best to begin. WISE MISTY slipped at the start while
ILLAWONG COWGIRL and BACK ON TOP collided.
Entering the 1st turn WISE MISTY and CURL THE WAVE collided
causing WISE MISTY to lose ground. At
the same time BLUE JAY JAY, BACK ON TOP and IZY MAGIC raced tight and
unbalanced. Shortly after, BLUE JAY
JAY and IZY MAGIC came together causing BLUE JAY JAY to lose ground. Leaving the back straight WISE MISTY and
RED VEE collided and were unbalanced.
In the top turn BACK ON TOP improved onto the heels of RED VEE causing
both greyhounds to be checked.
Entering the home straight CURL THE WAVE shifted out causing WISE
MISTY to be hampered. |

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE 395M HANNAH JAY
JAY was best to begin while TRUTH PREVAILS and GLORY ROSE were slow. In the 1st turn JOHN’S CHOICE,
GLORY ROSE and PARIS QUEEN were hampered.
Leaving the 1st turn MAGIC BENZ was tightened and forced to
shift out causing SWARAVSKI to be checked and lose ground. JOHN’S CHOICE that was following was
inconvenienced and proceeded to race wide in the back straight. In the back straight SWARAVSKI and GLORY
ROSE raced tight and unbalanced and GLORY ROSE lost ground as a result. |

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE 395M ITCHY FINGER was slow to begin. Shortly after the start COMETRON FLYER and
SMASHNIAK ROCKS came together and were unbalanced. In the 1st turn MERRIWA, CAN’T
POSSIBLY and ALONSO BENZ collided and were unbalanced. Entering the back straight COMETRON FLYER
and SMASHNIAK ROCKS were tightened and lost ground with MERRIWA also hampered
as a result. In the back straight MACFARLANE was tightened and lost
ground. Entering the top turn MERRIWA
contacted the running rail, became unbalanced and lost ground. COMETRON FLYER that was following was
inconvenienced. Entering the home
straight MERRIWA checked off heels. In
the home straight ALONSO BENZ improved onto the heels of ITCHY FINGER and
both greyhounds were checked. The greyhound MERRIWA underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

@ STUD NOVICE 395M POWER OF PENNY and ALPHA GEORGIOU began well. In the front straight HOOP DREAMS and
CYCLONE BARCI collided. Approaching
the 1st turn POWER OF PENNY and SPRING TIME GIRL were
tightened. In the 1st turn
SPRING TIME GIRL checked off heels and lost ground. At the same time ALPHA ZEPHYR and POWER OF
PENNY collided and were unbalanced.
Entering the top turn POWER OF PENNY and CYCLONE BARCI collided and
became unbalanced causing CYCLONE BARCI to lose ground. The greyhound ALPHA ZEPHYR underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

CLINT’S CARAVAN WAREHOUSE 5th GRADE HEAT 1 395M CORY’S DIAMOND, HYDROGEN and SIR TO YOU were best to
begin. In the 1st turn
DIAMOND JAKEY and AUNTY FREDA were hampered and lost ground. Leaving the back straight DIAMOND JAKEY was
tightened and lost ground. In the top
turn CORY’S DIAMOND and SIR TO YOU came together causing SIR TO YOU to be
momentarily hampered. |

Shortly after the start CAPTAIN’S KNOCK was tightened and momentarily
hampered. Approaching the top turn

BOX
1 PHOTOGRAPHY 3/4th GRADE 395M RAMBLIN’ ROSE and LITTLE FONZIE were
best to begin while CUZZY BROMAC and RATTLESNAKE CAFE were slow. In the 1st turn LETHAL KID,
STUEY and GUTENBERG were all checked and lost ground. Entering the back straight LITTLE FONZIE
was hampered as CUZZY BROMAC shifted out.
STUEY and LETHAL KID were wide in the back straight. Entering the top turn STUEY contacted the
hindquarters of CUZZY BROMAC and was momentarily hampered with LETHAL KID that
was following inconvenienced and forced to race wide through the turn. In the top turn RAMBLIN’ ROSE and
RATTLESNAKE CAFE bumped. Over the
concluding stages LITTLE FONZIE was tightened for racing room. LETHAL KID was wide in the home straight. The greyhound STUEY underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

GRADE HEAT 3 395M SHOTOTSU was best to begin. In the 1st turn MAZZA and PAN
YOKO came together. Shortly after,
GALLANT EXPLORER, HOLLY KNOCKS, CUPPA TEA KIWI and ODESSA were all tightened
and lost ground. When questioned on the improved performance of SHOTOTSU,
trainer Mr. D. McGrath advised that this greyhound, although talented, has
had a history of injuries. Mr. McGrath stated that the greyhound had trialled
well in the preceding week; however, he was surprised by the extent of its
improvement in this event. He further stated that he did not support the
greyhound on this occasion. |

UBET – THE NEW TAB 5th
GRADE HEAT 4 395M JIGGLE SPLAT and SHAKEY TANGO were best to begin while
STAR RING and HARA’S HUMMER were slow.
In the 1st turn STAR RING checked off heels and collided
with HARA’S HUMMER and both greyhounds lost ground. ALLPA MAMA that was following was
inconvenienced as a result. Entering
the home straight JIGGLE SPLAT and KAZAKO raced tight and bumped. |
