Stewards Trial 1 – 520m The greyhound
DONNY’S BEACH performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of
520m in a time of 30.01 and is now cleared all tracks up to 520m only. The greyhound
SUPERBANK performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m
in a time of 30.97 and is now cleared all tracks. Stewards Trial 1 – 331m The greyhound SWIFT
TOFF failed 6 month trial over the distance of 331m. The greyhounds ARETHA BELLA performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 31m in a time of 20.28. |

start. Shortly after the start KYELLA
and TRANQUIL FLEX bumped resulting in both greyhounds to be hampered. Entering the 1st turn TRANQUIL
FLEX and PALLINGTON collided with MR.
MICKEY resulting in all greyhounds to lose ground and MR. MICKEY to run
wide. Rounding the turn into the back
straight MR. RALPH ran wide. Entering
the back straight MR. MICKEY and TRANQUIL FLEX collided resulting in MR.
MICKEY to lose ground. Entering the
turn into the home straight TRANQUIL FLEX and MR. RALPH bumped forcing both
greyhounds to be hampered. In the back
straight MR. MICKEY was wide. |

HOUND 0 – 3 WIND 600M Even star with ALISSA’S ANGEL and JIMARY NAVIGATOR were
slow. Round the 1st turn
SWEET KARMAR and BOGAN DANCER collided resulting in BOGAN DANCER to be
hampered. At the same time SPRING
RUNNER clipped heels and lost ground.
In the front straight on the 1st occasion JIMARY NAVIGATOR
was wide. Entering the turn out of the
front straight BOGAN DANCER clipped the heels of SWEET KARMAR resulting in
BOGAN DANCER to lose ground. At the
same time ALISSA’S ANGEL and JIMARY NAVIGATOR collided forcing JIMARY
NAVIGATOR and to lose ground. Entering
the turn out of the back straight TOBI TINKLER and SWEET KARMAR collided
resulting in TOBI TINKLER to lose ground.
Entering the turn into the home straight TOBI TINKLER and SPRING
RUNNER collided resulting in TOBI TINKLER to lose ground. In the front straight JIMARY NAVIGATOR was
wide. The greyhound TOBI TINKLER underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound TOBI TINKLER underwent a 2nd inspection
post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards questioned licensed trainer Mr Scott Austen
about the performance of TOBI TINKLER. Mr Austen stated that the greyhound
had travel a lot in the past days and does not handle the travel well. He
would be spacing out upcoming racing engagements moving forward. Also did not
back the greyhound. |

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD MAIDEN FINAL 520M Even
start. Shortly after the start
AFFLICTION, PHANTOM HOUDINI, BRITTANY TALKS, FLYING COMET and TIARA GLOW
collided resulting in all greyhounds to be hampered with BRITTANY TALKS to
lose ground. Approaching the 1st
turn FLYING COMET shifted out colliding with BRITTANY TALKS resulting in both
greyhounds to lose ground. Rounding
the turn out of the back straight PHANTOM HOUDINI clipped heels and lost
ground. Out of the turn into the home
straight AFFLICTION clipped heels and was hampered. In the back straight GALWAY HYPERACT was
wide. Approaching the finishing line
BRITTANY TALKS shifted out colliding with BEECHMONT FLYER resulting in both
greyhounds to be hampered. |

Shortly after the start FROSTY BEJAY and TUBBY TURNER bumped resulting
in FROSTY BEJAY to lose ground. In the
1st turn TUBBY TURNER shifted out colliding with SMOKIN’ ALICE,
DAZE LIKE THESE and BELLA CETTE resulting in all greyhounds to run wide and
lose ground. Leaving the 1st
turn SORRENTO collided with DAZE LIKE THESE resulting in both greyhounds to
lose ground. Entering the back
straight SMOKIN’ ALICE and ALFONSO collided resulting in SMOKIN’ ALICE to be
hampered. Approaching the finishing
line MISS THICKSHAKE shifted out and collided with ALFONSO. |

CARAVAN WAREHOUSE 5th GRADE 520M Even start with ALPHA CHAOS and IRON MONARCH marginally
slow. Shortly after the start WAIKARIE
SHAZ was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Entering the 1st turn UNIQUE
KALEESI, MR. BELVEDERE and IRON MONARCH collided with WAIKARIE SHAZ which was
trailing losing ground. Rounding the
turn into the home straight WAIKARIE SHAZ got on the hindquarters of ALPHA
CHAOS forcing WAIKARIE SHAZ wide and checking UNIQUE KALEESI. Entering the home straight IRON MONARCH,
ALPHA CHAOS and REPTAR collided resulting in all greyhounds to be
hampered. Approaching the finishing
line ALPHA CHAOS and IRON MONARCH collided. |

SKY RACING 5th GRADE 520M Even start.
Shortly after the start CHEVALEIR NUIT and FROSTY AJAY both raced
tight and lost ground. At the same
time BARBARA BENZ and PREMIER TEJAY bumped resulting in BARBARA BENZ to be
hampered. In the 1st turn
BARBARA BENZ shifted out colliding with PREMIER TEJAY and RAQUEL’S MAGIC
resulting in all greyhounds to run wide and lose ground. Entering the back straight THROTTLE ON
clipped the heels of PREMIER TEJAY forcing it to shift out and lose ground. Rounding the turn into the home straight
THROTTLE ON shifted out and collided with RAQUEL’S MAGIC resulting in both
greyhounds to lose ground. In the home
straight FROSTY AJAY clipped heels and lost ground. In the back straight RAQUEL’S MAGIC was
wide. In the home straight THROTTLE ON
and BARBARA BENZ were wide. |

Rounding the turn into the back straight MUMMA’S HOPE clipped the
heels of EMMA’S MAGIC resulting in both greyhounds to lose ground. In the back straight BEC’S DIAMOND clipped
the heels of NATURAL LAD resulting in BEC’S DIAMOND to lose ground. Rounding the turn into the home straight
EMMA’S MAGIC and BEC’S DIAMOND collided resulting in both greyhounds to lose
ground. |

5th GRADE FINAL 520M COOKIE NO CREAM was best to begin with
BURRUM STARSKY slow. Rounding the 1st
turn BURRUM STARSKY and PORT LISA collided resulting in both greyhounds to be
hampered. At the same time IT’S DYLLAN
got onto the hindquarters of CORONARY CLOUD forcing CORONARY CLOUD wide and
lost ground. Rounding the turn out of
the home straight CORONARY CLOUD, BURRUM STARSKY and RICHMOND ROAD collided
resulting in all greyhounds to be hampered.
Entering the back straight BURRUM STARSKY was tightened for racing
room and lost ground. Rounding the
turn into the home straight IT’S DYLLAN got on the hindquarters of RICHMOND
ROAD resulting in both greyhounds to be hampered. The greyhound BURRUM STARSKY underwent
a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

GRADE 520M Even start. In the
front straight REFUND REQUIRED and ELING FEELING were both tightened for
racing room and lost ground, MADAM
MEDUSA was checked as a result and all greyhounds to lose ground. Rounding the turn into the 1st turn
GUNNA WINK, PAW DIDEMIS and WAIKARIE NOEL bumped forcing WAIKARIE NOEL wide
and to lose ground. Entering the turn
into the back straight PAW DIDEMIS and GUNNA WINK collided resulting in GUNNA
WINK to lose ground. The greyhound MADAM MEDUSA underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

GRADE 395M Even start. In the 1st turn SANTA CLAWS and
JUST FROSTY collided, IM GLAD was checked as a resulting causing IM GLAD to
loose ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight IM GLAD shifted
out colliding with JUST FROSTY causing
both greyhounds to loose ground. Stewards questioned trainer Ms. C Suttle about the actions
of I’M GLAD. After considering all
available evidence stewards could not be comfortably satisfied that the
greyhound had a charge to answer for and was given the benefit of the doubt. |
