Stewards Trial 1 – 331m The greyhound
JAGGERNAUGHT performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 331m
in a time of 19.44. Stewards Trial 1 – 331m The greyhound ROSIE
KNOCKS performed a satisfactory Return to Racing trial over the distance of
331m in a time of 19.11 and is now cleared all tracks. |

CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND MAIDEN 520M ALPHA
RHEA was best to begin while LOOSE TABACCO was slow. In the 1st turn VELOCITY ONYX
and ALPHA RHEA collided and became unbalanced. As a result, YOU CAN BE that was following
checked off heels and raced wide through the 1st turn and PLANE
SPOTTER was inconvenienced. Leaving the 1st turn ALPHA RHEA was
tightened and lost ground. In the top
turn PLANE SPOTTER and LOOSE TABACCO collided causing LOOSE TABACCO to fall
and take no further competitive part in the event. ALPHA RHEA and PLANE SPOTTER were inconvenienced
as a result. The
greyhound LOOSE TABACCO underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

HOUND MAIDEN FINAL 520M CURL THE WAVE, KYELLA and BUTTERFLY IS SHE were best to
begin. In the front straight SIMMYSY’S
NINERON was tight and lost ground.
Entering the 1st turn CASH MAN, MATADOR MAN and FLYING
COMET collided and were unbalanced. In
the 1st turn BUTTERFLY IS SHE and IZY GOLD collided. The greyhound FLYING COMET underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE 520M JAY BAY, WAY
TO WITCHES and BARBARELLA were best to begin.
In the front straight SOME OTHER FOOL shifted in and contacted the
heels of WAY TO WITCHES checking this greyhound. IRINKA GAIL and SOME OTHER FOOL raced tight
into the 1st turn. Entering
the back straight SWIFT LEAH contacted the heels of BARBARELLA and as a
result was checked and lost ground. The greyhound
IRINKA GAIL underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent
injuries were found. The greyhound

checked off heels and collided with HARA’S BUNDY and both greyhounds became
unbalanced. HARA’S SAM, SANDAVE
BELLAIRE and SPRING SHANAE that were following were all inconvenienced as a
result of this incident and lost ground.
Approaching the final turn SANDAVE BELLAIRE and SPRING SHANAE collided
and SANDAVE BELLAIRE lost ground. |

CLINT’S
CARAVAN WAREHOUSE 5th GRADE 520M REPTAR and NAMROD were best to begin while PIZARRO and
GRAND DASH were slow. Shortly after
the start DAB LIVY DAB was tightened and momentarily hampered. Entering the 1st turn GRAND DASH
checked off heels and was unbalanced.
JACOBY RAIDER and NAMROD raced wide in the 1st turn. In the 1st turn PIZARRO, GRAND
DASH and DAB LIVY DAB raced tight causing GRAND DASH to lose ground. Shortly after, DAB LIVY DAB was checked and
lost ground and GRAND DASH that was following was inconvenienced. REGAL HOPE gave ground in the home
straight. The greyhound REGAL HOPE underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. When questioned on the greyhound’s
performance, particularly its weakening over the concluding stages, trainer
Mr. W. Elson referenced the fact that it was the greyhound’s 1st
start over the 520m distance. He
stated that the greyhound had performed to his expectations and that he
expected the greyhound to improve over this distance going forward. Mr. Elson advised stewards that he did not
support the greyhound on this occasion. |

SKY RACING 5th GRADE 520M NEDGO PRINCESS was best to begin. Shortly after the start BIG TURLS, DAZE
LIKE THESE, WHEATACRE and ALLPA MAMA raced tight and unbalanced causing ALLPA
MAMA to collide with TINY TIARA, causing this greyhound to fall and take no
further competitive part in the event.
WHEATACRE lost ground because of this incident. In the 1st turn WAIKARIE NOEL
and NEDGO PRINCESS came together causing NEDGO PRINCESS to lose ground. In the top turn DAZE LIKE THESE checked off
heels and shifted out causing BIG TURLS that was following to be
inconvenienced. Following this event, the ‘hard to box’ endorsement was
removed from the greyhound TINY TIARA. |

5th GRADE FINAL 520M The greyhound DANCE OF LOVE underwent
a pre-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. The
greyhound was subsequently passed fit to race. SNUG was best to begin. Approaching the 1st turn DANCE
OF LOVE was hampered. Entering the 1st
turn COME TOGETHER was tightened and momentarily hampered. Shortly after, MILLION DOLLAR improved onto
the heels of COME TOGETHER and both greyhounds were checked. BARBARA BENZ was wide in the 1st
turn. |

GRADE 520M HARA’S STORM was best to begin while ZILLIE BEAN and
COOKIE NO CREAM were slow. Shortly
after the start STANKY LEG and ALOTA DAGZ were checked and momentarily
hampered. In the 1st turn
STANKY LEG and ZILLIE BEAN were hampered. The greyhound ALOTA DAGZ underwent a post-race veterinary
examination, was found to have suffered an injury to the near hind foot, and
was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

GRADE 395M CAPTAIN LOUIE and INDOMINOUS DANE were best to begin
while DOLLAR AND CENT were slow. In
the 1st turn CUZZY BROMAC, KOORINGA ADDISON and DANCING DOLLY were
tightened between INDOMINOUS DANE and KIMAHRI RONSO and all greyhounds became
unbalanced. BLACKJACK BETTY that was
following was inconvenienced as a result.
