GREYHOUND SPORTING CLUB MAIDEN 395M ALPHA
HEMERA and BACK ON TOP were best to begin while THUG was slow. Shortly after the start AMBURLA, GEMMA’S
BLUE and VIKING WHITE collided and were unbalanced. DYNAMITE PACE and ISOBELLA’S MAGIC that
were racing to the outside were inconvenienced as a result. Entering the back straight AMBURLA and
DYNAMITE PACE were tightened and lost ground while ISOBELLA’S MAGIC raced
wide. In the home straight ISOBELLA’S
MAGIC marred the running of AMBURLA and both greyhounds lost ground as a
result. Stewards
advised trainer Mr. W Elson that the greyhound ISOBELLA’S MAGIC would be
charged under Rule 69 Marring, 2nd offence, 3 months plus a
satisfactory stewards’ trial 395m all tracks. |

APP MAIDEN 395M MULGOWIE YOWIE was best to begin while BILL’S SPECIAL and
FABULOUS STORY were slow. Shortly
after the start BILL’S SPECIAL and FABULOUS STORY collided. Leaving the 1st turn FABULOUS
STORY checked off heels and lost ground.
Entering the top turn SPRITELY BILL checked off heels and raced
wide. EBONY SANDS and ONE TOO MANY
raced tight entering the top turn. |

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 5th GRADE 395M GIDDY UP
PATSY was best to begin while REGAL WAZ was slow. In the 1st turn PARIS QUEEN was
tightened and forced to shift out colliding with AGENDA and both greyhounds
became unbalanced. COSMIC REX, SPOT
ROSE HI, ELOISE and REGAL WAZ that were following were all inconvenienced as
a result. COSMIC REX and GIDDY UP
PATSY were wide on entering the home straight. |

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE 395M ALL ABOUT TIGER was best to begin while LOUIE THE FLYER
was slow. Shortly after the start
INDIANA PRINCESS, AUNTY FREDA and SWARAVSKI collided and were
unbalanced. Leaving the 1st
turn DAD’S THE WORD, OWN GOAL and SWARAVSKI were all tightened, causing DAD’S
THE WORD to lose ground and collide with INDIANA PRINCESS and both greyhounds
lost significant ground. Approaching
the top turn AUNTY FREDA contacted the running rail and became unbalanced. The greyhound INDIANA PRINCESS underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound AUNTY FREDA underwent a post-race veterinary

@ BRISGREYS 5th GRADE 395M HOLLY KNOCKS, RAGNAR LOTHBROK and WIGGLE were best to
begin. BRALYN AMY was tightened shortly after the start. In the first turn
THROTTLE ON, RAGNAR LOTHBROK and DAVID’S MEMORY raced tight and were
unbalanced. BRALYN AMY and VALKYRIE CANDY that were following were
inconvenienced. Entering the back straight WIGGLE and CLASSIC TERRA and
WIGGLE collided. In the top turn CLASSIC TERRA was checked and lost
ground. The greyhound CLASSIC TERRA underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards questioned trainer Mr. D. Titmarsh
on the below market expectation performance of the greyhound. Mr. Titmarsh stated the he believed the interference
that CLASSIC TERRA suffered in the top turn severely hampered the greyhound,
and was the only reason he could offer that the greyhound finished at the
back of the field. Mr. Titmarsh stated that he did not support the greyhound
on this occasion and he believed the greyhound’s starting price was a
reflection on the box as opposed to the greyhound’s ability. Mr. Titmarsh undertook to inform stewards
if anything comes to light with the greyhound in the coming days. |

CLINT’S CARAVAN WAREHOUSE 5th GRADE 395M JUST FROSTY was marginally slow to begin. Shortly after the start JUST FROSTY checked
off heels. In the 1st turn
STAR RING, QUITE SINCERE, COMETRON FLYER and COSADO SUN were tightened and
became unbalanced. This caused
COMETRON FLYER to fall and take no further competitive part in the event. As a result QUITE SINCERE, STAR RING, JUST
FROSTY and COSADO SUN were all inconvenienced. The greyhound COMETRON FLYER underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries
were found. |

GRADE 395M GUDERA SPITFIRE was best to begin while OPPORTUNE KNOCKA
was slow. Leaving the 1st
turn POWER OF PENNY was hampered and lost ground. Entering the top turn POWER OF PENNY was
tightened and lost ground and collided with INTERACTION that was following,
causing both greyhounds to lose further ground. Entering the back straight GUTENBERG was
hampered as OPPORTUNE KNOCKA shifted out. |

1 PHOTOGRAPHYS BEST 8 395M RAMBLIN’ ROSE and BARRA FUN were best
to begin. Leaving the 1st
turn BARRA FUN was tightened and lost ground.
BARRA FUN and BOGIE LILLY gave ground in the back straight. Entering the top turn STUEY improved onto
the heels of DAVID LYNDAN and was momentarily hampered. The greyhound BOGIE LILLY underwent a post-race
veterinary examination, was found to have suffered an injury to the off side Achilles
tendon, and was stood down for a period of 28 days. The greyhound BARRA FUN underwent a post-race
veterinary examination, was found to have suffered an injury to the off hind
back muscle, and was stood down for a period of 21 days. The greyhound CROWN EDDIE underwent a post-race
veterinary examination, was found to have suffered an injury to the near hind
webbing, and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

GRADE 520M VISIGOTH was slow to begin. Shortly after the start SIGARLA shifted out
tightening MUMMA’S HOPE and SUPERBANK and MUMMA’S HOPE lost ground. In the front straight COSMIC CRACKLE
shifted out hampering SIGARLA.
Entering the 1st turn LORD LACHLAN was hampered and lost
ground. In the 1st turn
SIGARLA checked off heels and shifted out, forcing VISIGOTH to race wide
through the turn. COSMIC CRACKLE raced
wide in the home straight. |

GRADE 395M TRUTH PREVAILS and HARA’S HUMMER were slow to begin. In the 1st turn SHOW BEKIM,
TRUTH PREVAILS, BETTY FAY and AILLA were all hampered. Entering the back straight BETTY FAY
checked off heels and lost ground.
Entering the top turn SHOW BEKIM, HARA’S HUMMER and TRUTH PREVAILS
collided. The greyhound VICKI’S CHOICE underwent a post-race
veterinary examination, was found to have suffered an injury to the off hind
toe, and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |
