GLASSHOUSE GREYHOUND SPORTING CLUB MAIDEN HEAT 1 395M

Even start with the exception of LOCH ME UP and BILL’S SPECIAL which were both marginally slow to begin.  Shortly after the start LOCH ME UP and BILL’S SPECIAL collided.  In the back straight MASTER DEAN shifted out which hampered the running of ANY WHICH WAY.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight LOCH ME UP became awkward in its stride and lost ground.

 

The greyhound LOCH ME UP underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

UBET – DOWNLOAD THE APP MAIDEN HEAT 2 395M

Even start.  Through the 1st turn LITTLE LIVEWIRE, BARNEY’S BOUNTY and ALPHA HEMERA were all tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Entering the back straight LITTLE LIVEWIRE shifted out and collided with BARNEY’S BOUNTY resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.  MR. LEO which was racing to the outside of BARNEY’S BOUNTY was checked as a consequence and lost ground.  Leaving the back straight ALPHA PHOEBE improved onto the heels of JUST LIKE YAZZA and lost ground.

 

The greyhound LITTLE LIVEWIRE underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE 395M

BACK ON TOP, BRASS ROAD, LOUIE THE FLYER and HEZA CLASSY SIZE were best to begin.  Through the 1st turn OWN GOAL was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Entering the back straight BACK ON TOP and BRASS ROAD were tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Leaving the back straight BRASS ROAD, DESERT CHILD and DAD’S THE WORD were all tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  BACK ON TOP which was trailing was checked as a consequence and lost ground.

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE 395M

The start of this race was delayed when TOKEN TOFF proved difficult to box.  TOKEN TOFF will be declared ‘hard to box’ in its immediate racing future.

 

NO VISA and RED CANDY were best to begin.  AUSSIE MATE stumbled leaving the back straight and lost considerable ground and failed to complete the event.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight CURL THE WAVE shifted out which hampered the running of TOKEN TOFF.

 

The greyhound CURL THE WAVE underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side wrist and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

The greyhound AUSSIE MATE underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side hock and was humanely euthanised.

Even start.  Through the 1st turn BUD’S DELIGHT was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Shortly after CUPPA TEA KIWI was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  KAPPA NU which was trailing was checked as a consequence and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight COMETRON FLYER was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  KAPPA NU raced wide rounding the turn out of the back straight.

CLINT’S CARAVAN WAREHOUSE 5th GRADE HEAT 2 395M

Even start with the exception of TUBBY TURNER and NIKOLUCKY which were slow to begin.  Through the 1st turn CELESTIAL SELENE, VALKYRIE NIGHT and AILLA were all tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight CELESTIAL SELENE and NIKOLUCKY collided resulting in NIKOLUCKY to be checked and lose ground.  AILLA which was racing to the outside of NIKOLUCKY was checked as a result of this incident and lost ground.

SKY RACING 5th GRADE 520M

Even start.  Shortly after the start THROTTLE ON was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Approaching the turn out of the front straight ROCKIN’ ALL OVER and SMOKE AND MIRROR collided.  Rounding the turn into the front straight SMOKE AND MIRROR was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.

 

The greyhound ROCKIN’ ALL OVER underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side Achilles tendon and was stood down for a period of 28 days.

BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY 5th GRADE 520M

Even start.  Approaching the turn out of the front straight SIRIUS STAR, NEWS STORY, SKETCHY JACK, DU HAST and IRINKA GAIL were all tightened for racing room, checked to varying degrees and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the front straight SIRIUS STAR and SKETCHY JACK collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.  Entering the back straight SIRIUS STAR shifted out which hampered the running of SKETCHY JACK.

 

The greyhound GUTENBERG underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.  When questioned over the performance of the greyhound trainer Mr. G Friend reported  that whilst acknowledging that GUTENBERG gave ground over the concluding stages  he said he was satisfied with the greyhound’s run considering that it has received some interference throughout the race.  He was of the view that GUTENBERG is capable of running out the 520m and it would be his intention to continue to race the greyhound over that distance.

BRISGREYS.COM 5th GRADE HEAT 3 395M

Even start with the exception of SUPERBANK and HEADGEAR which were both slow to begin.  Through the 1st turn ODESSA was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  At the same time ONE IN SIX was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Approaching the turn into the back straight SUPERBANK and HEADGEAR collided.  Leaving the back straight SUPERBANK was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Approaching the turn into the front straight SUPERBANK shifted in and made contact with the running rail.  Entering the front straight HEADGEAR was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.

 

The greyhound SUPERBANK underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near hind toe and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

Even start with the exception of SIR TO YOU which was slow to begin.  Shortly after the start REGAL TRAV was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Rounding the turn into the back straight WAIKARIE SHAZ was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  SKIP TO IT, IRON MONARCH and REGAL TRAV which were all trailing were checked as a consequence and lost ground.  Approaching the turn into the front straight COSMIC DENLYN improved onto the hindquarters of WAIKARIE SHAZ resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.  Rounding the turn into the front straight COSMIC DENLYN improved onto the heels of WAIKARIE SHAZ resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.  In the front straight WAIKARIE SHAZ and SKIP TO IT collided.  Shortly after SKIP TO IT and COSMIC DENLYN collided.
