start with REGAL CYNDIE slowly away.
Soon after the start PALLINGTON crossed checking VELOCITY MARLINA, IZY
GOLD and PHANTOM HOUDINI. Entering the
turn out of the home straight VELOCITY MARLINA checked off the heels of
FREEHOLD causing VELOCITY MARLINA to check REGAL CYNDIE and FRAN ALLEN
forcing FRAN ALLEN wide on the turn.
On the turn out of the home straight REGAL CYNDIE and IZY GOLD
collided. In the back and home
straight REGAL CYNDIE was wide. The
greyhound REGAL CYNDIE underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. Stewards
questioned trainer and he stated that he supported the greyhound. |

GRADE 520M Even start with FLYING CIRCUS slowly away. Soon after the start RUSTY’S IMAGE shifted
out checking MY SPRITE. Entering the
turn out of the home straight FLYING CIRCUS and MY SPRITE collided causing MY
SPRITE to shift out checking BIRKDALE BANDIT and GOOD CALL PAUL causing GOOD
CALL PAUL to take no further part in the event. In the back and home straights RUSTY’S
IMAGE was wide. The greyhound GOOD CALL PAUL underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
side hip and was stood down for a period of 21 days. |

start. Entering the turn out of the
home straight CORONARY CLOUD checked off the heels of SPLENDID STAR. On the turn out of the home straight BRIGHT
SATELLITE checked off the heels of REINHOLD causing BRIGHT SATELLITE to drop
back checking CORONARY CLOUD. Entering
the back straight PARTY EVERY DAY and BRIGHT SATELLITE collided causing
BRIGHT SATELLITE to take no further competitive part in the event. In the back straight WINDY GIRL was
wide. Entering the home straight
CORONARY CLOUD and PARTY EVERY DAY collided with PRATER’S PROMISE wide in the

WITHCOTT HOTEL 5th GRADE 520M ROAD TO FLAME and COSMO CYNDIE were best to begin with
BIG BAD BOB slowly away. Soon after
the start FAB DOOLEY and GADSBY’S ROAD collided. Entering the turn out of the home straight
DOGMATIC and CHILLED HEAT collided with ROAD TO FLAME, MOMENT TO SHINE and
GADSBY’S ROAD all colliding causing GADSBY’S ROAD to race wide. Entering the back straight GASDBY’S ROAD
checked off the heels of BIG BAD BOB.
In the back straight FAB DOOLEY was wide. Entering the turn out of the back straight
MOMENT TO SHINE checked off the heels of CHILLED HEAT causing ROAD TO FLAME
check off the heels of MOMENT TO SHINE.
In the home straight FAB DOOLEY was wide. The greyhound ROAD TO FLAME underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

SPORTS CLUB 4/5th GRADE 600M GELANTIPY GOLD was best to begin with the remainder
evenly away. In the home straight on
the 1st occasion GELANTIPY GOLD and MISS MINAJ were wide with
Slick and MASTER CHA CHA colliding..
Entering the turn out of the home straight SLICK shifted out checking
GELANTIPY GOLD and MISS MINAJ causing these 2 greyhounds to race wide on the
turn. In the home straight MISS MINAJ
was wide with MASTER CAH CHA easing approaching the winning post. Stewards questioned trainer Mr. K Macintosh regarding the
greyhound’s weight and Mr. Macintosh could not offer a reason why the
greyhound was up 1kg in weight but
stressed that his best racing weight would be around .5kg light at 34.5kg. The greyhound SLICK underwent a post race veterinarian
examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound MASTER CHA CHA underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
side hock and was stood down for a period of 3 months. |

after the start RATTLESNAKE CAFÉ and PRINCESS LIGHT collided. Entering the turn out of the back straight
COSMO BILL checked off the heels of CHA CHA GEM causing CHA CHA GEM to race
wide on the turn and in the home straight. |

off the heels of BIG EASY RED with JUST SPIFFING wide. Entering the turn out of the back straight
APATITE and NOT LIKE TOMMY collided.

CUP FINAL 5th GRADE 520M Even start with MRS. POLETTI slowly
away. Entering the turn out of the
home straight ARDEN STREET checked off the heels of AMBER MARIE causing AMBER
MARIE to shift out colliding with RICHMOND ROAD. Entering the back straight GRAND PRIX DRYVA
eased and took no further competitive part in the event. In the back straight ARDEN STREET was
wide. Entering the turn out of the
back straight AMBER MARIE checked off the heels of HIPSTER causing AMBER
MARIE to shift out checking ARDEN STREET causing those 2 greyhounds to take
no further competitive part in the event. The greyhound GRAND PRIX DRYVA
underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered
an injury to the near hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 28
days. The greyhound AMBER STRIKE underwent a
post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury
to the near side fibula and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |
