Stewards Report 1 – 395m The greyhound MO
STRADAMUS performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 395m in
a time of 22.74. The greyhound
SPRING CHICKIE performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of
395m in a time of 23.46 and is now cleared all tracks except Wagga. Stewards Report 1 – 520 The greyhound BANY
ROSE performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 520m in a
time of 30.77 and is now cleared all tracks. The greyhound
SNEAKIN’ OUT performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of
520m in a time of 31.10 and is now cleared all tracks except Ipswich. Due to a
malfunction with the 331m starting boxes, race 9 and 10 were run over the
395m distance. All trainers were given
the opportunity to withdraw their greyhounds without penalty. |

start. Approaching the turn out of the
front straight ZAC ELFRON and BITTA BLUE collided on a number of occasions
resulting in ZAC ELFRON to be checked and lose ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight
ZAC ELFRON and GALWAY HYPERACT collided resulting in both greyhounds to be
checked and lose ground. Rounding the
turn out of the back straight ARFA SHOW OFF improved onto the heels of SWIFT
LEAH resulting in that greyhound to be checked and lose ground. Entering the front straight ZAC ELFRON and
GALWAY HYPERACT collided. The
greyhound ZAC ELFRON underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

HOUND 5th GRADE 395M Even start with the exception of ONE IN SIX which was
slow to begin. KAPPA NU raced wide in
the back straight. Rounding the turn
out of the back straight ONE IN SIX and DIAMOND JAKEY collided resulting in
DIAMOND JAKEY to be checked and raced wide.
JUST MY SIZE which was trailling was checked as a consequence. Approaching the turn into the front
straight JUST MY SIZE and DIAMOND JAKEY collided. Shortly afterwards KAPPA NU and JUST MY
SIZE collided. |

start. Shortly after the start CAPRA
ROSS was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight
ON THE RIZE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Shortly after DAVID’S MEMORY and SAMURAI
PIZZACAT were both tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Leaving the back straight GUMTREE KID was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Entering the front straight DAVID’S MEMORY
and SAMURAI PIZZACAT collided. |

Approaching the turn into the front straight on the 1st
occasion DUDE PERFECT collided with SANDAVE BELLAIRE resulting in both
greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.
ALFONSO which was trailling was checked as a consequence. In the front straight on the 1st
occasion ALFONSO and PORT LISA collided.
Rounding the turn out of the front straight ELIZABETH ROSE and SANDAVE
BELLAIRE collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose
ground. Rounding the turn out of the
front straight PORT LISA, ALFONSO and SANDAVE BELLAIRE all raced tight
resulting in all greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. Entering the front straight on the final
occasion ELIZABETH ROSE and ALFONSO collided. |

GRADE 395M MOCHACHINI MAN was best to begin. Leaving the back straight YOU SLIPPY GYPSY
was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. MOCHACHINI MAN shifted out rounding the turn
into the front straight which hampered the running of PRECIOUS SAL. In the front straight during the latter
stages of the race MOCHACHINI MAN and YOU SLIPPY GYPSY were both tightened
for racing room, checked and lost ground. |

MOON MADNESS which both were slow to begin.
Through the 1st turn OLD MOON MADNESS was tightened for
racing room, checked and lost ground.
Entering the back straight ROAD SCHOLAR was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. Rounding the
turn out of the back straight ROAD SCHOLAR improved onto the heels of SWIPE
RIGHT, shifted out which inconvenienced the running of DAISY DREAMS. The greyhound OLD MOON MADNESS underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
hind pad and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |
