INVERGARRY LADY performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of
520m in a time of 31.38 and is now cleared all tracks except Brisbane until
after 4 October 2017. Stewards Trial 1 – 520m The greyhound
SHAQTIN’ A FOOL performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of
520m in a time of 30.50 and is now cleared all tracks. The greyhound
GALWAY ALICE performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of
520m in a time of 31.36 and is now cleared all tracks. |

EMILY was best to begin. LIL MISS
PINKY and GUMTREE KID were slow out.
Leaving the back straight LION EAGLE and BEST STRATEGY were both
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight
LIL MISS PINKY shifted out and collided with BIG WINSTON. LIL MISS PINKY raced wide rounding the turn
into front straight and in the front straight. The
greyhound LIL MISS PINKY underwent a post race veterinarian examination and
no apparent injuries were found. |

GRADE 395M SPLENDID STAR and CUZZY BROMAC were best to begin. Shortly after the start MIGHTY NIMROD and
INTERACTION were both tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Through the 1st
turn MIGHTY NIMROD, INTERACTION and BLOZA were all tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. Shortly after
BLOZA shifted out and collided with OKA’S ANGEL resulting in OKA’S ANGEL to
be checked and lose ground. Entering
the back straight I’M GLAD was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. The greyhound OKA’S ANGEL underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB 5th GRADE HEAT 1 520M Even start with the exception of ALPHA CHAOS which was
slow to begin. Shortly after the start
SPRING SHANAE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. In the front straight on the 1st
occasion MUSTANG NOVA and RUN KAY RUN were both tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. Rounding the
turn out of the front straight RUN KAY RUN was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. Rounding the
turn out of the back straight AFTER GLOW was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. At the same
time THURSDAY WISH improved onto the hindquarters of FROSTY BEJAY resulting
in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. Approaching the turn into the front
straight MUSTANG NOVA and AFTER GLOW collided resulting in AFTER GLOW being
checked, shifted out and colliding with FROSTY BEJAY which in turn shifted
out and collided with ALPHA CHAOS resulting in FROSTY BEJAY, ALPHA CHAOS and
AFTER GLOW all losing ground. The greyhound FROSTY BEJAY underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

and CYCLONE BARCI collided resulting in NEDGO PRINCESS to be checked, shift
out and collided with RUM RUNNER resulting in both RUM RUNNER and NEDGO
PRINCESS to lose ground. Rounding the

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 5th GRADE HEAT 2 520M The track was downgraded to ‘Slow’ for the remainder of
the race meeting. Even start.
Rounding the turn out of the front straight BIRKDALE BANDIT and CASEY
WHISPER collided on a number of occasions resulting in both greyhounds to be
checked and lose considerable ground.
In the front straight during the run to the finish BIG TURLS shifted
in which hampered the running of LALIQUE. |

GRADE HEAT 4 520M Even start.
Shortly after the start IMA RUNAWAY, BELVEDERE BABE, JAY BAY, FREEHOLD
and KEALOCH all lost ground due to tight racing. Rounding the turn out of the front straight
IMA RUNAWAY shifted out which hampered the running of FREEHOLD. BELVEDERE BABE which was trailling was
checked as a consequence and lost ground.
Leaving the back straight KNOCKA NOVA tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. The greyhound KNOCKA NOVA underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

3/4th GRADE 520M Even start with the exception of DAB
LIVY DAB which was marginally slow to begin.
Leaving the front straight GUNNA WINK and SNEAKIN’ OUT were both
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight
MARILENA FRANCO was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Shortly after SONIC THUNDER was tightened
for racing room, checked and lost ground.
In the front straight during the latter stages of the race SNEAKIN’
OUT turned its head and made muzzle contact with STUBBORN STATE. Trainer D Chapman the trainer of
MARILENA FRANCO was reprimanded under the provisions of Rule 86 (p) for failing
to obey the starter’s instructions. The greyhound SNEAKIN’ OUT underwent a
post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards advised trainer Mr. R Hamilton
that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 3rd
offence, 12 months plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks. |

lost ground. BIG TRIGGER which was
racing to the outside of NAMROD was checked as a consequence and lost ground. |

Leaving the 1st turn WINDY GIRL was tightened for racing
room, checked and lost ground. Leaving
the back straight ROCKABILLY OSTI was tightened for racing room, improved
onto the heels of JAGGERNAUGHT resulting in both greyhounds to lose ground. Entering the front straight JACOBY RAIDER,
ROCKABILLY OSTI and WINDY GIRL raced tight resulting in all greyhounds to be
checked and lose ground. In the front
straight JACOBY RAIDER and ROCKABILLY OSTI collided on a number of occasions. |
