1.

ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND MAIDEN 395M

CALL ME UGO and HARA’S HORNET were best to begin.  In the 1st turn BOGAN BELLE, ONE TOO MANY, MR. GAMBLER, GOLDEN STORM and FLYAWAY BARB all collided causing SALLY CINNAMON to be checked and as a result all greyhounds lost ground.  Entering the back straight SALLY CINNAMON and GOLDEN STORM clipped heels and lost ground.  Entering the turn out of the back straight BOGAN BELLE were tightened for racing room and lost ground.  In the front straight SALLY CINNAMON was wide.

ASPLEYS LEAGUES CLUB MAIDEN 395M

Even start with MATADOR MAN marginally slow. All greyhounds except HARA’S HOTTIE and TOEY GAMBLER raced tight forcing all greyhounds to loose ground. Entering the back straight HORSLEY ROCKET was tightened for racing room and lost ground. In the back straight VIKING RED and FANTASIA LEE bumped causing  FANTASIA LEE  to lose ground. Entering the turn out of the back straight JUST LIKE YAZZA and HORSLEY ROCKET collided causing both to loose ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight VIKING RED and HORSLEY ROCKET bumped.

 

Stewards had concerned with HORSLEY ROCKET actions in the race but could not be comfortably satisfied that the greyhound had offended under the rules of racing, and gave the greyhound the benefit of the doubt.   

The greyhound ANY WHICH WAY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE 395M

PONCHERELLO was marginally slow.  Shortly after the start KULU CHANCE and BOGAN LEGEND bumped with NO VISA and TRENCH VAPOUR bumping causing all greyhounds to be hampered.  Rounding the turn into the back straight BOGAN LEGEND and TRENCH VAPOUR were tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight BOGAN LEGEND clipped heels and was hampered.  Approaching the finishing line NO VISA clipped heels and was hampered.

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 5th GRADE 395M

HYDROGEN was best to begin.  In the 1st turn SLICK GAMBLER and DIAMOND JAKEY were both tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Rounding the turn in to the back straight SPRING FIRECHIEF and HEADGEAR collided causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight SPRING FIRECHIEF clipped heels, shifted out colliding with HEADGEAR causing both greyhounds to run wide and lose ground.

WITHCOTT HOTEL 5th GRADE 395M

MR. BANKS and SHAKEY TANGO were best to begin.  Shortly after the start RUDOLFINUM was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Leaving the 1st turn QUICK AND LIVELY and BANG ON TARGET bumped causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  Leaving the back straight MR. BANKS and TINY TIARA collided causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  In the front straight TINY TIARA was wide.

BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY 5th GRADE 520M

RAQUEL’S MAGIC was marginally slow.  Shortly after the start WHAT A MESS was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  In the 1st turn MUMMA’S HOPE and WHAT A MESS collided causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Rounding the turn into the back straight KULU TUPPENCE and DUDE PERFECT collided causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight ANOTHER NORRIS got onto the heels of MAM’S MAGIC causing both greyhounds to lose ground.

 

The greyhound ANOTHER NORRIS underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

BOGAN FLYER was best to begin.  Shortly after the start KULU DOT COM was tightened for racing room causing LUCKY CALL and KULU ZORRO to collided causing all greyhounds to be hampered.  Leaving the back straight ACE GAMBLER and BOGAN FLYER collided causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight KULU DOT COM and ACE GAMBLER collided causing ACE GAMBLER to lose ground.  Entering the front straight LUCKY CALL and BOGAN FLYER bumped.  In the front and back straight BE FEARLESS was wide.

 

The greyhound ACE GAMBLER underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

SHAVASANA was best to begin.  In the 1st turn COMETRON FLYER, GALLEON and RUNYA DOWN all collided causing all greyhounds to lose ground.  Entering the back straight TREGLE TRIUMPH got onto the heels of CELESTIAL SELENE causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Leaving the back straight RUNYA DOWN and STAR BILLING bumped causing STAR BILLING to lose ground.  Rounding the turn into the back straight CELESTIAL SELENE and TREAGLE TRIUMPH bumped causing CELESTIAL SELENE to be hampered.

 

The greyhound GALLEON underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

UBET – THE NEW TAB 5th GRADE 395M

Even start.  Shortly after the start IRON MONARCH, BILL’S SPECIAL and BUNDY BUCKS were all tightened for racing room and lost ground.  In the back straight MASTER DEAN got onto the hindquarters of DREAM YOUR DREAM causing HORUS GUN to be checked and all greyhounds to lose ground.  Entering the turn into the home straight HORUS GUN and IRON MONARCH collided causing both greyhounds to be hampered.

 

The greyhound TEE BE GOOD underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
