GLORIOUS GAL and LUCKY LIZZIE were best to begin. Entering the 1st turn MY
GLORIOUS GAL was tightened and forced to shift out, colliding with JUST LIKE
YAZZA, resulting in both greyhounds racing wide through the turn. |

MAIDEN FINAL 331M WHIPPY MIDGET was best to begin while SHE’S GIFTED and
FAN THE BREEZE were slow. In the back
straight FLYAWAY BARB was checked and became unbalanced. OSPREY STAR that was following was
inconvenienced. Approaching the top
turn FAN THE BREEZE and FLYAWAY BARB raced tight causing FAN THE BREEZE to
lose ground. Entering the top turn
SHE’S GIFTED and WHIPPY MIDGET collided and were unbalanced. |

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 5th GRADE 431M DORRY’S DREAM
was best to begin. Entering the top
turn CHIPPIE ROSE HI improved onto the heels of GALWAY EAGLE and both
greyhounds were checked, causing CHIPPIE ROSE HI to fall and take no further
part in the event. In the top turn
ARETHA BELLA checked off heels. The greyhound
CHIPPIE ROSE HI underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent
injuries were found. |

TOKEN TOFF were slow. In the back
straight SCOOTIN’ PUTIN was checked and lost ground. In the turn DOOLEY WILSON, CITY MASTER and
FLAMING MOE collided and were unbalanced and TOKEN TOFF that was following
was forced to race wide through the turn as a result. In the turn SCOOTIN’ PUTIN checked off
heels and was unbalanced. TOKEN TOFF

Shortly after the start DEEJAY BURN, CITY HOPE and BANG ON TARGET were
hampered. Entering the top turn DEEJAY
BURN and CITY HOPE collided causing CITY HOPE to fall and take no further
part in the event. In the turn JUDY
BALE gave ground in clear running and took no further competitive part in the
event. The greyhound JUDY BALE underwent a post-race veterinary examination, was
found to have suffered a fracture to the off side hock, and was humanely euthanized. The greyhound CITY HOPE underwent a post-race veterinary examination
and was found to have suffered an injury to the near side wrist and was stood
down for a period of 10 days. |

CHARBELLAMIA and TEE BE GOOD were tightened and lost ground. Shortly after, ARABIAN GO GO was tightened
and lost ground. In the top turn
ARABIAN GO GO improved onto the heels of PRINCESS EMILY and both greyhounds
were checked and lost ground. TEE BE GOOD
that was following was inconvenienced as a result of this incident. |

GRADE 395M CAPTAIN’S KNOCK was slow to begin. In the 1st turn WESTMEAD DAFFIE
and RAMBLIN’ ROSE checked off heels and lost ground. Entering the top turn OPPORTUNE KNOCKA was
tightened and momentarily hampered. The greyhound CLASSY CHURCHIE
underwent a post-race veterinary examination, was found to have suffered an
injury to the near side shoulder, and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

LUCKY CALL was slow. In the 1st
turn HA HA CLASSY and CUZZY BROMAC were hampered. Leaving the back straight CUZZY BROMAC
clipped heels and became severely unbalanced and lost significant
ground. Entering the top turn HA HA
CLASSY checked off heels. The greyhound CUZZY BROMAC underwent a
post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

Leaving the 1st turn UNIQUE KALEESI was checked and lost
ground. The greyhound GUMTREE KID underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

start. Shortly after, PERFECT TOUCH
was tightened as SWEET AND CLASSY shifted in.
In the back straight ANGEL SHOW, PERFECT TOUCH, SPICE BUCKET and
SMASHNIAK WINX raced tight and were unbalanced. SPICE BUCKET lost ground as a result. In the top turn SMASHNIAK WINX checked off
heels and raced wide. The greyhound PERFECT TOUCH
underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered
an injury to the off side wrist and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |
