1.

ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND MAIDEN 395M

Even start with BOGAN LAD slow.  Shortly after the start FAB JESSIE and SPICE THAT bumped causing FAB JESSIE to be hampered.  In the 1st turn FAB JESSIE, SPICE THAT and MY GLORIOUS GAL all raced tight causing FAB JESSIE and MY GLORIOUS GAL to be hampered.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight BOGAN LAD got onto the hindquarters of FAB JESSIE causing FAB JESSIE to lose ground.  in the front straight MY GLORIOUS GAL was wide.

 

The greyhound FAB JESSIE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB MAIDEN 395M

Even start.  Shortly after the start VIKING RED and ALPHA HEMERA bumped causing ALPHA HEMERA to be hampered.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight FROSTY SKY was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Leaving the turn out of the back straight FAKE NEWS was tightened for racing room and lost ground.

GLASSHOUSE GREYHOUND SPORTING CLUB MAIDEN FINAL 395M

HARA’S HORNET was best to begin with FLYAWAY BARB slow.  Approaching the 1st turn ANY WHICH WAY, ZINCHENKO and HARA’S HOTTIE all raced right causing all greyhounds to lose ground.  Leaving the 1st turn ZINCHENKO clipped heels, shifted out and lost ground.  In the home straight FLYING COMET and FLYAWAY BARB bumped.  In the front straight ZINCHENKO and ANY WHICH WAY were wide.

 

The greyhound ZINCHENKO underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards questioned license trainer Mr John Dart on the performance of the greyhound which he stated that it received a lot of interference in the race and that its very inexperienced. He also stated that he did not support the greyhound. Mr Dart informed stewards the next day that the greyhound had suffered and injury to the off wrist.

 

 Stewards questioned license trainer Mr Warren Nicholls in regards to the improved performance of the greyhound, which he stated that it had trialled up to its ability but does perform at it best when leading. He also stated that he had not supported the greyhound.

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE 395M

Even start with ENZO JAZZ slipped on the green matting and causing it to be hampered.  Entering the back straight LITTLE DOTTY TOO, BOGAN LEGEND and NO VISA all raced tight causing LITTLE DOTTY TOO and BOGAN LEGEND to be hampered.  In the back straight ENZO JAZZ and BOGAN LEGEND collided causing BOGAN LEGEND to lose ground.  Entering the home straight DOUBLE OAK and LITTLE DOTTY TOO bumped causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  In the home straight ENZO JAZZ and BOGAN LEGEND collided causing BOGAN LEGEND to lose ground.

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 5th GRADE 395M

Even start.  In the 1st turn SPARK YOU UP, SPRING RUNNER, COOKIE NO CREAM and PARIS QUEEN all raced tight causing COOKIE NO CREAM, SPRING RUNNER and PARIS QUEEN to lose ground.  Rounding the turn into the back straight CHIPPIE ROSE HI got on the hindquarters of BUNDY BUCKS causing CHIPPIE ROSE HI to lose ground.  At the same time SPARK YOU UP clipped heels and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight BUNDY BUCKS clipped heels and lost ground.  Entering the home straight SPRING RUNNER, COOKIE NO CREAM and DIAMOND JAKEY collided causing all greyhounds to lose ground.  In the home straight CHIPPIE ROSE HI was wide.

 

The greyhound CHIPPIE ROSE HI underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off fore toe and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

Even start.  In the 1st turn ACE GAMBLER, JOHN SAID THIS and MR. BANKS all raced tight causing MR. BANKS and JOHN SAID THIS to lose ground with ACE GAMBLER to be hampered.  Entering the back straight MR. BANKS, HEARTLAND FLYER and WESTERN HONEY collided causing HEARTLAND FLYER to be hampered.  Rounding the turn into the home straight ACE GAMBLER and DREAM YOUR DREAM bumped causing both greyhounds to be hampered.

BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY 5th GRADE 520M

Even start with FONIC LASS and FAB FIT marginally slow.  In the front straight on the 1st occasion THUNDER FURY and FAB FIT were both racing tight causing FAB FIT to lose ground.  Approaching the 1st turn FAB FIT was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Rounding the turn into the back straight MAM’S MAGIC clipped heels and lost ground.  Entering the back straight FAB FIT clipped heels, shifted out and was hampered.  Leaving the back straight HARBOUR DRIVE was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight FAB FIT clipped the heels of HARBOUR DRIVE causing both greyhounds to be hampered.

SHOW BOUND was best to begin.  In the 1st turn PLUM JAM and HARA’S HUMMER bumped causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  Rounding the turn into the home straight CROWN EDDIE and I’M GLAD raced tight causing both greyhounds to be hampered.

Even start.  In the 1st turn DOLLAR AND CENT, KULU DOT COM an ARABIAN GO GO all raced tight causing all greyhounds to lose ground.  In the back straight COMETRON FLYER and KULU ZORRO bumped.  At the same time ZULU DOT COM was wide.  In the home straight KULU DOT COM and DOLLAR AND CENT were wide.

Even start.  In the 1st turn all greyhounds raced tight causing HARA’S STORM to be hampered.

 

The greyhound HARA’S STORM underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Even start with OWN GOAL and SUPERBANK marginally slow.  Leaving the 1st turn BLUE DOT was tightened for racing room and hampered.  Rounding the turn into the home straight SUPERBANK and BLUE DOT bumped causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  In the front straight TONLEIGH was wide.

UBET – THE NEW TAB 5th GRADE 395M

FABULOUS KATIE was best to begin with LOUIE THE FLYER and VALKYRIE NIGHT marginally slow.  Entering the back straight CUTE GAMBLER and FABULOUS KATIE both raced tight causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  In the back straight IRON MONARCH and IMPOSSIBLE collided causing IMPOSSIBLE to lose ground.  Leaving the back straight NAOMI ROSE HI was tightened for racing room and lost ground.

 

The greyhound IMPOSSIBLE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side hip and was stood down for a period of 14 days.
