start. Shortly after the start SILVER
STUNNER slipped on the green matting and lost ground. In the front straight on the 1st
occasion SCORCHING LUCY and OXLEY REBEL bumped causing both greyhounds to be
hampered. Leaving the back straight
KULU COSMO clipped heels and lost ground.
In the front straight KULU COSMO and KULU HIPSTER were wide. |

NOVICE 520M Even start with HOME LUCK slow. Shortly after the start SWIFT BARB raced
tight and lost ground. In the 1st
turn SWIFT BARB and HOME LUCK collided causing both greyhounds to lose
ground. Rounding the turn into the
home straight SWIFT BARB and HOME LUCK bumped causing both greyhounds to be
hampered. In the home straight WERINA
LIGHTNING was wide. |

start. Shortly after the start
PENDITA, MUMMA’S HOPE and RICHMOND ROAD all raced tight causing all
greyhounds to lose ground. Leaving the
1st turn EMMA’S MAGIC and PENDITA collided causing both greyhounds
to be hampered. Approaching the turn
out of the back straight RICHMOND ROAD clipped heels and lost ground. Approaching the finishing line PENDITA
clipped the heels of RICHMOND ROAD causing both greyhounds to be hampered. |

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB 4/5th GRADE 600M BROLLY BALE was best to begin with BIG BAD BOB and
SORRENTO slow. In the 1st
turn HARA’S SAM and FLASH VENTURE bumped causing FLASH VENTURE to lose
ground. Rounding the turn out of the
front straight FLASH VENTURE, BROLLY BALE and BIG BAD BOB all raced tight
causing all greyhounds to lose ground.
Entering the back straight KULU TUPPENCE was tightened for racing room
and lost ground. Approaching the turn
out of the back straight DU HAST and BIG BAD BOB collided causing both
greyhounds to lose ground. Entering
the home straight FLASH VENTURE, KULU TUPPENCE and SORRENTO collided causing
all greyhounds to lose ground. The greyhound KULU TUPPENCE underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

WHO IT IS bumped on numerous occasions causing both greyhounds to be
hampered. In the 1st turn
AFTER GLOW, SULTAN OF RUM and TINY TIARA all raced tight causing all
greyhounds to lose ground. Leaving the
1st turn SULTAN OF RUM clipped heels and lost ground. Entering the back straight AFTER GLOW was
tightened for racing room and lost ground. |

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 5th GRADE HEAT 2 520M Even start.
Shortly after the start IMA RUNAWAY clipped heels and lost
ground. Leaving the back straight KULU
CHANCE was tightened for racing room and lost ground. In the home straight WILDASH WILLOW turned
its head outwards but did not make muzzle contact. The greyhound WILDASH WILLOW underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards advised trainer Mr. B Giltinan
that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 (A) Failing to Pursue, 1st
offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks |

GRADE HEAT 3 520M Even start with FARMOR CHIPS slipping out of the boxes
and losing ground. Shortly after the
start FARMOR CHIPS, CASEY WHISPER and CHANTILLY BEAUTY collided causing all
greyhounds to lose ground. In the 1st
turn BETTA BE RIGHT, SPRITELY BILL and FARMOR CHIPS collided causing FARMOR
CHIPS and BETTA BE RIGHT to lose ground.
Leaving the 1st turn SPRITELY BILL clipped heels and lost
ground. The greyhound FARMOR CHIPS underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

back straight SO SABRINA was tightened for racing room and hampered. On the turn out of the back straight SMART
MARLOW got onto the hindquarters of DANCING SOLO causing both greyhounds to
be hampered. Rounding the turn into
the home straight QUINTASTIC and SO SABRINA collided causing both greyhounds
to be hampered. Entering the home
straight QUINTASTIC and SMART MARLOW bumped on numerous occasions causing
both greyhounds to be hampered. |

GRADE 331M WARPIG and TORNEY were best to begin. Leaving the back straight AERIAL DYNAMITE
and BALL ALLEY ANNIE were both tightened for racing room and lost
ground. Rounding the turn out of the
back straight POCKET BENZ and AERIAL DYNAMITE collided causing both greyhounds
to lose ground. Entering the home
straight PETRONAS TOWERS and KAZEKO collided and both raced tight causing
both greyhounds to lose ground. The greyhound AERIAL DYNAMITE underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound KAZEKO underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound POCKET BENZ underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
fore toe and was stood down for a period of 28 days. |
