Stewards Trial 1 – 600m The greyhound
AUSSIE DIAMOND performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of
600m in a time of 36.11 and is now cleared all tracks except Ipswich until
after 26 November 2017. |

DOWNLOAD THE APP MAIDEN 331M SORRY
SUZANNE and TUNDRA STORM were best to begin.
Entering the back straight SATIN LUSTRE and SORRY SUZANNE were both
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. In the back straight SATIN LUSTRE and
CRACKERJACK RUBY both collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and
lose ground. Leaving the back straight
ISLE OF MYSTIQUE shifted out and collided with ZABDON MOO MOO resulting in
that greyhound to be checked and lose ground.
MOO MOO MASON which was trailling was checked as a consequence and
raced wide. Rounding the turn out of
the back straight SORRY SUZANNE improved onto the heels of CRACKERJACK RUBY
and was checked as a consequence and raced wide. The
greyhound SORRY SUZANNE underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD
MAIDEN 520M Even start with the exception of PROPER GENT and NEV’S
SHADOW which were both marginally slow to begin. Shortly after the start ALPHA THEIA shifted
in which checked the running of GALWAY PANTHER. In the front straight on the 1st
occasion EMPIRE STATE shifted in which checked the running of GALWAY
PANTHER. Rounding the turn out of the
front straight BUTTERFLY IS SHE, ALPHA THEIA and EMPIRE STATE were all
tightened for racing room, severely checked and lost considerable ground. The greyhound EXPIRE STATE underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound BUTTERFLY IS SHE underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound ALPHA THEIA underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY 5th GRADE 395M Even start
with the exception of GLORIA’S CHOICE which was slow to begin. Through the 1st turn ROCKABILLY
OSTI, HA HA CLASSY and SMASHNIAK ICE were all tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. The greyhound
ROCKABILLY OSTI underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found
to have suffered an injury to the off side shoulder and was stood down for a
period of 10 days. |

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB 3/4th GRADE 395M Even start.
Entering the back straight CALL ME AUSSIE was tightened for racing
room, checked and lost ground.
Rounding the turn out of the back straight CHA CHA GEM commenced to
give ground and shortly after collided with HONEY HORNET. The greyhound CHA CHA GEM underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
side hock and was stood down for a period of 3 months. |

@ BRISGREYS 5th GRADE HEAT 1 520M Even start.
Leaving the front straight SNAKEY KATIE and ONE DOLLAR were both
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the front straight
HARA’S HOOK shifted out which hampered the running of LONESOME HERO. Approaching the turn into of the back
straight IT’S DYLLAN and ONE DOLLAR collided on a number of occasions. Rounding the turn into the front straight
SNAKEY KATIE and HARA’S HOOK collided. The greyhound SNAKEY KATIE underwent a post race veterinarian
examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near hind toe and
was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 5th GRADE HEAT 2 520M The start of this race was delayed to allow track
maintenance to repair holes in the track.
Subsequent to this all races were put back 1 timeslot with Race 10 rescheduled
to run at 10.12pm. WISE MISTY was best to begin. Rounding the turn out of the back straight
ROCKIN’ ALL OVER shifted out which hampered the running of INDIAN GIVER. |

GRADE HEAT 3 520M Even start with the exception of NOTORIOUS HERO, DUDE
PERFECT and LALIQUE which were all marginally slow to begin. Leaving the front straight DUDE PERFECT and
LALIQUE collided resulting in both greyhounds to be severely checked and lose
considerable ground. Rounding the turn
into the front straight DOLLAR AND CENT and WAY TO WITCHES collided. The greyhound DUDE PERFECT underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
side pin and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

STORY which was marginally slow to begin.
Shortly after the start UNIQUE MOTIVE and MYONA MORPHEUS were
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the front straight
NEDGO PRINCESS shifted out which checked the running of UNIQUE MOTIVE and
NEWS STORY. Approaching the turn into
the back straight CYCLONE BARCI and NEDGO PRINCESS collided. Entering the back straight CYCLONE BARCI
was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Entering the front straight CYCLONE BARCI
and NEWS STORY collided. In the front
straight CYCLONE BARCI and NEDGO PRINCESS collided. The greyhound CYCLONE BARCI underwent
a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. When questioned over the performance of
CYCLONE BARCI trainer Mr. R Hazelgrove said the greyhound does not like to be
crowded in its events and is better suited when its drawn wider where it can
obtain clear running and after receiving interference during the race he was
satisfied with its overall performance. |

GRADE 331M Even start with the exception of C’MON ANGELLA which went
up with the lids and lost ground.
Rounding the turn out of the back straight C’MON ANGELLA, STROGANOFF,
STAR RISE, BALL ALLEY ANNIE and TORNEY all raced tight resulting in all
greyhounds to be severely checked and lose considerable ground. The greyhound BALL ALLEY ANNIE underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
side hock and was stood down for a period of 3 months. |

Licenced
trainer Mr. Michael Boody was fined $200 under Rule 86 (f) (iv) for misconduct
in that prior to the running of Race 4 whilst in the vicinity of the catchers
he made derogative comments regarding a Brisbane Racing Club official. Consideration was given to M Boody’s good
record and $100 was fully suspended for a period of 12 months pending that he
does not reoffend under this rule. INJURIES: RACE
