CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND MAIDEN 395M HARA’S
HORNET was best to begin. In the 1st
turn TILLERSON and MERLOT HAYZE both clipped heels and lost ground. Entering the back straight TILLERSON and
MERLOT HAYZE bumped. On the turn out
of the back straight TILLERSON clipped heels and was hampered. The
greyhound TILLERSON underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found. Stewards questioned licensed trainer Ms Serena Lawrance on the performance on the greyhound which she
stated that the greyhound is very inexperienced and was not supported. |

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB
MAIDEN 395M HORSLEY ROCKET was best to begin. Shortly after the start HAY LIONEL was
tightened for racing room and lost ground.
In the 1st turn HAY LIONEL and TREVOR TRICEPS bumped
causing both greyhounds to be hampered.
At the same time SUPER CESC fell and gave no further competitive part
in the race. As a result BLITZEN LEE was checked and lost ground. The greyhound SUPER CESC underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound BOKARM LEO underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

GLASSHOUSE GREYHOUND SPORTING CLUB MAIDEN FINAL 395M Even
start. In the 1st turn WILD
ROCK HAYZE and DRAWCARD collided with SYFY LEGEND resulting in DRAWCARD to fall
and give no further competitive part in this race. Rounding the turn into the home straight
KULU RUBY and FANTASIA LEE collided causing both greyhounds to be hampered.
Approaching the finishing line MULGOWIE YOWIE shifted out and turned his head
outwards but did not make muzzle contact. The greyhound
DRAWCARD underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent
injuries were found. |

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE 395M Even start. Shortly after the start TIARA GLOW, MULGOWIE
YOWIE and SUCCATASH bumped. Entering the front straight ELOISE and MULGOWIE
YOWIE bumped and cause both greyhounds to be hampered. Stewards advised trainer Mr. S Sherwell
that the greyhound MULGOWIE YOWIE would be charged under Rule 69 (B) Failing
to Pursue, 1st offence, with injury, 14 days plus a satisfactory
stewards’ trial 395m all tracks. The
greyhound MULGOWIE YOIE underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the back
and was stood down for a period of 14 days. The greyhound TIARA GLOW underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side wrist
and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

HORSE AND HOUND 5th GRADE 395M KISSING CARTER was best to begin. Rounding the turn out
of the back straight SHAYLOR CLEDUS and CAPTAIN’S KNOCK bumped causing both
greyhounds to be hampered. In the home straight DANCING SOLO was wide. |

STAR RING collided causing STAR RING and COSMIC REX to lose ground. Leaving the turn out of the back straight
STAR RING and MASTER DEAN bumped causing both greyhounds to be hampered. |

onto the heels of PLUM JAM causing both greyhounds to be checked. As a result RAQUEL’S MAGIC was checked and
lost ground. |

1st turn REGAL BILL, MY SPRITE, STUBBORN STATE, AGRO’S THUNDER and
OPPORTUNE KNOCKA all raced tight causing all greyhounds to lose ground. Leaving the back straight STUBBORN STATE
got onto the hindquarters of HARA’S STORM causing both greyhounds to lose
ground. The greyhound PRINCESS LIGHT underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have
suffered an injury to the off hind back muscle and was stood down for a
period of 28 days. |

GRADE 395M LOGAN COUNTY and WESTERN HONEY were best to begin. Shortly after the start SHAYLOR LES and
SPRING RUNNER bumped. In the 1st
turn BONKNOCKA PRINCE and ALLPA MAMA collided causing ALLPA MAMA to be
hampered. DO THAT PHOEBEE was checked
as a result losing ground. Entering
the back straight WESTERN HONEY and LOGAN COUNTY collided causing WESTERN
HONEY to shift out and lose ground. entering the turn out of the back straight BONKNOCKA
PRINCE and GUDERA SPITFIRE bumped causing BONKNOCKA PRINCE to lose ground. The greyhound BONKNOCKA PRINCE underwent a post-race veterinarian
examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side pin and
was stood down for a period of 14 days. |
