CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND MAIDEN HEAT 1 395M FLASH
STORY was slow to begin. Shortly after
the start NIKKI NETTLE was checked.
Entering the back straight WILD ROCK HAYZE checked off heels and collided
with HORSLEY ROCKET and both greyhounds lost ground. In the back straight HAY LIONEL checked off
heels and was momentarily hampered.
Approaching the top turn MERLOT HAYZE was tightened and lost
ground. Entering the top turn HORSLEY
ROCKET, ALPHA RHEA and FLASH STORY were all checked and lost ground causing
HAY LIONEL that was following to fall, and take no further competitive part
in the event. The
greyhound HAY LIONEL underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB
MAIDEN HEAT 2 395M HAY HOPEY was best to begin. GET MESSI was checked shortly after the
start. Leaving the 1st turn
TREVOR TRICEPS checked off heels causing MARDI GRAS NOEL that was following
to be hampered. Shortly after,
BRAYSTONES BEACH improved onto the hindquarters of DOLCETTO HAYZE and both
greyhounds were checked and lost ground and GET MESSI that was following was
inconvenienced. Entering the top turn
SMASHNIAK BATMAN and TREVOR TRICEPS collided and lost ground. The greyhound FLYING COMET underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and was found to be suffering from post-race distress syndrome. Stewards advised trainer Mr. K. Boan that acting
under the provisions of Rule 74(1)(a) the greyhound would be stood down from
racing until the performance of a satisfactory stewards’ trial, 395m. |

was best to begin while MAN OF LEISURE was slow. Shortly after the start QUICK STORY,
SUCCATASH and DON’T SELL were tightened.
Entering the back straight SHOOTING THROUGH and CRAZY EMJAY were
checked causing CRAZY EMJAY to lose ground.
MAN OF LEISURE that was following was severely inconvenienced as a
result and lost ground. SUCCATASH was
also hampered as a result of this incident.
Leaving the top turn MAN OF LEISURE and ARREBA collided and were
unbalanced. |

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE 395M HARA’S HORNET and SMASHNIAK ICE were best to begin. Leaving the 1st turn SMASHNIAK
ICE shifted out inconveniencing MAY ROAD, MY GLORIOUS GAL and SOME OTHER
FOOL. Entering the top turn MY GLORIOUS
GAL checked off heels. In the top turn
JAZZ MINE shifted out and raced wide.
In the home straight SMASHNIAK ICE raced unbalanced and collided with
JAZZ MINE. |

HORSE AND HOUND 5th GRADE HEAT 1 395M SHOW BEKIM was best to begin. Shortly after the start DIAMOND JAKEY,
ORPHAN ANNIE and SIR TO YOU collided.
Shortly after, SMASHNIAK WINX checked off heels and was
unbalanced. Entering the top turn SIR
TO YOU and MEMPHIS collided causing MEMPHIS to shift out and lose
ground. BIG SHOW HAWKO that was racing
to the outside was inconvenienced as a result. The greyhound MEMPHIS underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

WITHCOTT HOTEL 5th GRADE 520M FAB FIT was best to begin while ACTUALIZE was slow. In the front straight VELOCITY MARLINA,
ALLPA MAMA and PARIS QUEEN were tightened and became unbalanced. Entering the 1st turn CAPTAIN
ZERO was tightened and shifted out checking VELOCITY MARLINA, ALLPA MAMA and
ACTUALIZE with ALLPA MAMA losing ground as a result. |

GRADE 395M SOLO DANCER was best to begin while GALLANT EXPLORER was
slow. In the 1st turn
OPPORTUNE KNOCKA, SHAYLOR ANDRE, IRON MONARCH and STAR BILLING all collided
and were momentarily hampered.
Entering the back straight STAR BILLING was checked and lost
ground. Shortly after, SHAYLOR ANDRE
was hampered. IRON MONARCH was wide in
the home straight. The greyhound SHAYLOR ANDRE underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side wrist
and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

begin. SPARE CASH was hampered shortly
after the start. Shortly after the
start NEEKY’S WAY, TUBBY TURNER and SHOW BOUND were tightened causing TUBBY
TURNER and SHOW BOUND to lose ground.
Leaving the 1st turn NEEKY’S WAY and PLUM JAM collided
causing NEEKY’S WAY to lose ground and TUBBY TURNER and SHOW BOUND that were
following were checked and lost ground. |

GRADE 395M FARMOR CHIPS was slow to begin. In the 1st turn general
tightening resulted in interference to all runners excluding SWIPE
RIGHT. As a result, SHAKEY TANGO,
LETHAL KID, CALL ME AUSSIE and HARA’S STORM all lost ground. In the back straight LETHAL KID improved
onto the hindquarters of LUCKY CALL and both greyhounds were checked and lost
ground. The greyhound HARA’S STORM underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound LUCKY CALL underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

POPULAR BELIEF were tightened and lost ground with SHEZ ROCKING that was
following inconvenienced. Leaving the
1st turn WESTERN HONEY was checked. Entering the top turn BLACK SCORPION was
tightened and lost ground. ON THE RISE
that was following was hampered.
Shortly after, SHEZ ROCKING checked off heels. The greyhound BLACK SCORPION underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

GRADE HEAT 3 395M HOOP DREAMS and NEVER A DOUBT were best to begin. In the 1st turn NEVER A DOUBT,
CORYKODI, REGAL TRAV and TINY TIARA were checked and became unbalanced. Entering the back straight RUNAWAY KITTY
improved onto the heels of HOOP DREAMS.
Both greyhounds were checked and lost ground and CLASSY SPRITE that
was following was inconvenienced. As a
result, CORYKODI was momentarily hampered, shifted out and raced wide in the
back straight. The greyhound HOOP DREAMS underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |
