CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND MAIDEN 395M Even
start with the exception of BERT SWANG which was marginally slow to
begin. Through the 1st turn
EXTRA ROYAL, DOLCETTEO HAYZE and RUBY HAYZE were tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. BERT SWANG
which was trialling checked as a consequence and lost ground. Entering the back straight BASQUIAT was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. In the back straight HAY WILLIAM was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. The
greyhound RUBY HAYZE underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. An inquiry was opened into the racing actions
of RUBY HAYZE in particular during the run to the finish. After taking evidence from trainer Ms. T
Trigg stewards could not be comfortably satisfied that the greyhound had
breached any rule and therefore gave it the benefit of the doubt. The
greyhound DOLCETTO HAYZE underwent a post race veterinarian examination and
no apparent injuries were found. |

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB MAIDEN
FINAL 395M Even start with the exception of MARDI GRAS NOEL which
was slow to begin. Shortly after the
start GET MESSI and HAY HOPEY were tightened for racing room, checked and
lost ground. Approaching the 1st
turn WILD ROCK HAYZE and GET MESSI collided on a number of occasions. Through the 1st turn GET MESSI
was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight
WILD ROCKY HAYZE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. GET MESSI which was trailing was checked as
a consequence. Entering the front
straight MERLOT HAYZE checked across heels and lost ground. |

GLASSHOUSE GREYHOUND SPORTING CLUB NOVICE 395M Even
start. Shortly after the start QUICK
STORY became unbalanced, stumbled and lost ground. Through the 1st turn VIKING
WHITE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Entering the back straight DRAWCARD was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. FAB JESSIE which was racing to its outside
was checked as a consequence and lost ground.
Leaving the back straight CRAZY EMJAY was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. DRAWCARD
raced wide on the turn into the front straight. |

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD 5th GRADE 395M Even start.
Shortly after the start MR. BANKS was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. Through the 1st
turn NEDGO PRINCESS, LARRIKAN LASS, OWN GOAL and GUMTREE KID were all
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the back
straight NEDGO PRINCESS and GUMTREE KID collided. Rounding the turn into the front straight
STILL COUNTING and NAUGHTY JESS collided resulting in NAUGHTY JESS to be
checked and lose ground. The greyhound GUMTREE KID underwent a post race veterinarian
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

GARRARD’S
HORSE AND HOUND 5th GRADE 520M Even start. In the
front straight on the 1st occasion PARIS QUEEN commenced to give
ground. Rounding the turn out of the
front straight QUEEN REEN shifted in and collided with the running rail and
shortly after collided with TUBBY TURNER resulting in both greyhounds to be
checked and lose ground. In the back
straight PANTHER CLOUD shifted out which hampered the running of CUTE
GAMBLER. Approaching the turn into the
front straight QUEEN REEN shifted out and marred the running of SHE’S INYA
FACE resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. In the front straight during the run to the
finish PANTHER CLOUD shifted out which hampered the running of SHE’S INYA
FACE. The greyhound PARIS QUEEN underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
side pin and was stood down for a period of 10 days. The greyhound QUEEN REEN underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
side pin and was stood down for a period of 10 days. Stewards advised trainer Mr. J McHugh that
the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence,
28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks. |

lose ground. Rounding the turn out of
the back straight PINKE SUNSET was tightened for racing room, checked and
lost ground. |

turn out of the back straight CORYKODI was tightened for racing room, checked
and lost ground. Approaching the turn
into the front straight CORYKODI and DODGY DANCER collided resulting in both
greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.
SHOW BEKIM and TIM AND NIEL which were trailing were both checked as a
consequence and lost ground. The greyhound CORYKODI underwent a post race veterinarian
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

GRADE 395M Even start.
Through the 1st turn SHINE YOUR LIGHT, STAR RING and BIG
SHOW HAWKO were tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Shortly after THUNDER FURY, POWER PENNY and
TOEY GAMBLER raced tight resulting in all greyhounds to be checked and lose
ground. Rounding the turn out of
the back straight SHINE YOUR LIGHT was tightened
for racing room, checked, shifted out and collided with POWER OF PENNY which
in turn shifted out and collided with THUNDER FURY resulting in THUNDER FURY
to be severely checked, fall and took no further part in the race. ON THE RIZE was checked as a result of this
incident and lost ground. Shortly
after BIG SHOW HAWKO which was checked as a result of this incident collided
with SHINE YOUR LIGHT resulting in both greyhounds to be severely checked and
lose considerable ground. POWER OF
PENNY was severely checked as a result of this incident and lost considerable
ground. The greyhound THUNDER FURY underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound SHINE YOUR LIGHT underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

same time PANTERA NEGRA and GUDERA SPITFIRE collided resulting in GUDERA
SPITFIRE to be checked and lose ground.
In the back straight RALLY DRYVA checked across heels and lost
ground. Rounding the turn into the
front straight GUDERA SPITFIRE and WESTERN HONEY collided resulting in both
greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. |

GRADE 395M Even start with the exception of C’MON ANGELLA which was
slow to begin. Through the 1st
turn ANOTHER RED was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. WHITE LINE DELL which was racing to its
outside was checked as a consequence.
Entering the back straight DOUBLE OAK improved onto the hindquarters
of C’MON ANGELLA resulting in both greyhounds being checked and lose ground. Approaching the turn into the front
straight WHITE LINE DELL improved onto the heels of PROPER TOFF resulting in
both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. The greyhound C’MON ANGELLA underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |
