UBET –
DOWNLOAD THE APP MAIDEN 331M The
‘all clear’ was delayed to allow stewards to view the available patrol film
to determine whether any greyhound was disadvantaged in the front straight
when there were birds on the track.
After viewing the film stewards were satisfied that no greyhounds’
chances were materially affected and
therefore gave the ‘all clear’. Even
start. Entering the back straight BIG
MAN RUSTY and SASSY OAKS were both tightened for racing room, checked and
lost ground. Rounding the turn out of
the back straight VESTIARIUS shifted out which hampered the running of BIG
MAN RUSTY. SASSY OAKS which was trailing
was checked as a consequence and lost ground.
Leaving the turn out of the back straight to approaching the turn into
the front straight BIG MAN RUSTY and VESTIARIUS collided on a number of
occasions resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. SASSY OAKS which was trailing was checked
as a consequence and lost ground. |

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB
MAIDEN 331M ZABDON MOO MOO, FEAR BETTY and TEN GALLON HAT were best
to begin. PHANTOM ROAD and POWDER were
slow to begin. PHANTOM ROAD raced wide
rounding the turn into the front straight.
In the front straight LA QUINTA shifted out which checked the running
of SHE’S THE ROAD resulting in that greyhound to lose ground. |

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN FINAL 331M Even start
with the exception of LOST IN ORBIT and ROUGH ODDS which were both marginally
slow to begin. Entering the back
straight ANDROID SOCIETY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Shortly after FAKE NEWS was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. FIVE GALLON HAT which was trailing was
severely checked as a consequence, fell and took no further part in the
race. ROUGH ODDS which was trailing
was checked as a result of this incident and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight
ANDROID SOCIETY checked off heels, shifted out and lost ground. FAKE NEWS which was racing to its outside
was checked as a consequence and lost ground. The greyhound
FIVE GALLON HAT underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE 331M Even start with the exception of PERONI BEACH, SHARHELIAN
STAR and FANTASTIC RUFF which were all marginally slow to begin. Entering the back straight PERONI BEACH
shifted in and contacted the running rail and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight
SHARHELIAN STAR shifted out which hampered the running of WHINGING WILKO. SHARHELIAN STAR raced wide rounding the turn
into the front straight and again in the front straight. CATCH ME KEITH raced wide in the run to the
finish. The greyhound FANTASTIC RUFF underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound PERONI BEACH underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
hind foot and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

Through the 1st turn LADY PERLITA, PERFECT MUM and ON TIGHT
LINES were all tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Shortly after STILL COUNTING commenced to
give ground to finish a considerable distance from the remainder of the
field. Leaving the back straight ON
TIGHT LINES improved onto the heels of LADY PERLITA resulting in that
greyhound to be checked and lose ground.
BANG ON TARGET which was racing to its outside was checked as a
consequence and lost ground. The greyhound STILL COUNTING underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 6 weeks. |

WITHCOTT HOTEL 5th GRADE 395M Even start.
Through the 1st turn COSMIC ELITE, ACE GAMBLER, JOHN’S
LAST, TREAGLE TRIUMPH and BRAVE ULYSSES were all tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. Entering the
back straight BRAVE ULYSSES and TREAGLE TRIUMPH collided resulting in BRAVE
ULYSSES to be severely checked and lose considerable ground. Entering the front straight COSMIC ELITE
shifted out and raced wide for the remainder of the race. The greyhound BRAVE ULYSSES underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
hind leg and was stood down for a period of 14 days. |

GRADE 395M Even start with the exception of COOPOLLY BEACH which was
slow to begin. Through the 1st
turn TEE BE GOOD was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Entering the back straight CELESTIAL SELENE
was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. The greyhound CELESTIAL SELENE underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
hind leg and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

turn PINK SCISSORS was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Rounding the turn into the
front straight KLOEIS PRIDE and AMBER MARIE collided. The greyhound HEZA SIZE UP underwent a
post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury
to the near hind foot and was stood down for a period of 14days. |

MESCUAL which were both slow to begin.
Entering the back straight HANG ON LADS and MAMMA’S BOY were tightened
for racing room, checked and lost ground.
Leaving the back straight COSMIC SAID SO shifted out which checked the
running of PINK TRICK resulting in that greyhound to lose ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight
IRON MONARCH shifted out which hampered the running of PINK TRICK. |

lose ground. SIGARLA which was
trailing was checked as a consequence and lost ground. |
