ABSOLUTELY FAB was best to begin. Shortly after the start BRAXTON HAYZE and HOT MUMMA’S BOY bumped. Rounding the turn out of the back straight MASTER LODA and SMASHNIAK BATMAN bumped causing SMASHNIAK BATMAN to be hampered.

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB MAIDEN FINAL 395M

EXPONENTIAL was best to begin with BROTHERS BITTEN marginally slow. In the 1^st turn JOKER JOKER clipped heels, shifted in colliding with EXTRA ROYAL causing both greyhounds to lose ground. In the back straight EXTRA ROYAL and JOKER JOKER collided causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight BROTHERS BITTEN hit the running rail and lost ground.

The greyhound BROTHERS BITTEN underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side pin and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

3.	GLASSHOUSE GREYHOUND SPORTING CLUB NOVICE 395M Even start. Shortly after the start QUICK STORY and FAB JESSIE collided causing FAB JESSIE to lose ground. In the 1^st turn MAY ROAD, SUCCATASH and FAB JESSIE raced tight causing all greyhounds to lose ground. Rounding the turn into the back straight QUICK STORY and MAY ROAD collided causing QUICK STORY to lose ground. Leaving the back straight HAPPY MAIL and MAY ROAD collided causing both greyhounds to lose ground. The greyhound QUICK STORY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

In the 1^st turn SHEZ ROCKING, ANOTHER RED, TUNDRA STORM and SPRITELY BILL collided causing all greyhounds to be hampered with ANOTHER RED to lose ground. Entering the back straight SPRITELY BILL and TUNDRA STORM collided causing TUNDRA STORM to lose ground. In the front straight ANOTHER RED and SPRITELY BILL bumped.

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 5^th GRADE 520M

Even start. Shortly after the start VOLKEY and POLLYS MAID both raced tight causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Approaching the 1^st turn FROSTY BEJAY and POLLYS MAID collided causing POLLYS MAID to lose ground. In the 1^st turn VOLKEY shifted out colliding with SHUNT MAN causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Rounding the turn into the back straight VOLKEY was tightened for racing room and lost ground causing ONE IN SIX to be checked and lose ground.

The greyhound VOLKEY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

The greyhound ONE IN SIX underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side hock and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

WITHCOTT HOTEL 5^th GRADE FINAL 395M

The greyhound GUDERA SPITFIRE underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found and passed fit to race.

Even start. In the 1^st turn MR. BANKS, HARA’S HORNET and GUDERA KITTYHAWK all raced tight causing all greyhounds to be hampered. Entering the back straight GUDERA KITTYHAWK and HARA’S HORNET collided causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Shortly after MISS THICKSHAKE was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Rounding the turn into the home straight MR. BANKS, GUDERA SPITFIRE and CAPTAIN’S KNOCK all raced tight causing all greyhounds to be hampered. In the front straight CAPTAIN’S KNOCK and MR. BANKS collided causing MR. BANKS to lose ground resulting in GUDERA SPITFIRE to be checked.

Stewards advised Ms Elizabeth Griffin of responsibilities when handling the greyhounds and to be more diligent when boxing.

Approaching the 1^st turn NEWS STORY shifted out colliding with WHIPPPY MIDGET causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Leaving the 1^st turn ACTUALIZE, PLANE SPOTTER, IZY GOLD and WHIPPY MIDGET all ran wide and collided causing all greyhounds to lose ground. In the home straight PLANE SPOTTER and CHANTILLY BEAUTY bumped causing both greyhounds to be hampred.

The greyhound WHIPPY MIDGET underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

In the 1^st turn DANCING SOLO, COSMIC TALEYA and REGAL TRAV collided resulting in COSADO SUN to be checked and all greyhounds to lose ground. In the back straight SMASHNIAK CLASS and COSMIC TALEYA raced tight causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Entering the turn out of the back straight SMASHNIAK CLASS clipped heels and was hampered.

Leaving the turn out of the back straight SHORT SESSION was tightened for racing room and lost ground.

The greyhound ROCKABILLY OSTI underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 28 days.

Even start with WILD CONNECTION and LARRIKAN LASS marginally slow. In the 1^st turn GUMTREE KID clipped heels, stumbled and commenced to give ground. Leaving the back straight HORUS GUN got onto the hindquarters of ORPHAN ANNIE causing HORUS GUN to lose ground. In the front straight LARRIKAN LASS was wide.

The greyhound GUMTREE KID underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 28 days.
