BLACK JACK STAR and GALLWAY BLUEBIRD collided causing all greyhounds to lose

MAIDEN HEAT 2 331M VESTIARIUS and NO CLYDE NEEDED were best to begin. BOGAN RASCAL slow. Shortly after the start
BOGAN RASCAL, POWDER and CLICK COWAN collided causing all greyhounds to lose
ground. Rounding the turn out of the
back straight VESTIARIUS AND FEAR ROBERT collided causing both greyhounds to
run wide and lose ground. The greyhound BOGAN RASCAL underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
side shoulder and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE 331M FANTASTIC
RUFF and PINK GEITZ were best to begin with MIDNIGHT TO ONE marginally slow. Shortly after the start, MIDNIGHT TO ONE
and SLIP MY MIND collided, causing SLIP MY MIND to lose ground. Round the turn of the back straight KING
DIESEL shifted out colliding with PINK GEITZ and FANTASTIC RUFF causing KING DIESEL
and FANTASTIC RUFF to lose ground. In
the front straight MIDNIGHT TO ONE and KING DIESEL collided on numerous
occasions causing both greyhounds to be hampered. The greyhound
KING DIESEL underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent
injuries were found. |

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD BEST 8 395M Even start. Approaching
the first turn CROWN EDDIE was tightened for racing room and hampered. Leaving the first turn BARRA FUN, BUDDY TOKAAM
and CELEBRITY BABE bumped causing CELEBRITY BABE to lose ground. Rounding the
turn into home straight BUDDY TOKAAM clipped heel shift out and lost ground. The greyhound CELEBRITY BABE underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
hind toe/foot and was stood down for a period of 8 weeks. |

@ BRISGREYS 5th GRADE 331M LADY OLIVIA and FLYING PRINCESS were best to begin. Rounding the turn out of the back straight FABRIQUE,
ROSIE KNOCKS and FEARLESS DANCER all raced tight causing all greyhounds to be
hampered. Rounding the turn into the
home straight FEARLESS DANCER and HESPERIDES collided causing both greyhounds
to lose ground. Entering the front straight FLYING PRINCESS and FABRIQUE
collided causing both greyhounds to lose ground. The greyhound LORD LACHLAN underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
hock and was stood down for a period of 21 days. |

WITHCOTT HOTEL 5th GRADE 395M PINK SUNSET was best to begin. Shortly after the start LOST IN ORBIT,
SLICK GAMBLER and HANNAH JAY JAY all raced tight. Entering the back straight NIKOLUCKY and
HANNAH JAY JAY bumped. In the back straight SLICK GAMBLER was tightened for
racing room and hampered. Rounding the turn out the back straight, MISS
GAMBLER shifted out colliding with NIKOLUCKY causing both greyhounds to run
wide and lose ground. The greyhound NIKOLUCKY underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

SKY RACING 4/5th
GRADE 395M Even start with ONE IN SIX marginally slow. In the first turn SAGE OF OMAHA, JOHN’S
LAST, TINY TIARA, TOEY GAMBLER and TREVOR’S FURY collided causing SAGE OF
OMAHA, TOEY GAMBLER and TREVOR’S FURY to fall and take no further competitive
part in the race and as a consequence
caused TINY TIARA to lose ground. In the back straight ONE IN SIX commenced
to give ground in open running and failed to pursue the lure with due
commitment. Rounding the turn into the
home straight JOHN’S LAST and RAPID BLAZE bumped. The greyhound TOEY GAMBLER underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound SAGE OF OMAHA underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound TREVOR’S FURY underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound ONE IN SIX underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards advised trainer Mr.
G Keep that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 (A) Failing to
Pursue, 2nd offence, 3 months plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial
395m all tracks. |
