start with the exception of ALPHA VALENTINE and KULU LIGHTNING which were
both marginally slow to begin. Through
the first turn, SMILING BLONDE was tightened for racing room, checked and
lost ground. SMILING BLONDE commenced
to give ground in the back straight to finish at considerable distance from
the remainder of the field. Rounding
the turn out of the back straight, KULU LIGHTNING was tightened for racing
room, checked and lost ground. The
greyhound SMILING BLONDE underwent a post race veterinarian examination and
no apparent injuries were found. |

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB MAIDEN
FINAL 395M The start of this race was delayed when BRAXTON HAYZE
proved difficult to be boxed. BRAXTON HAYZE will be declared a hard to box in
its near future races. Even start.
Through the first turn, BRAXTON HAYZE and BOGAN BELLE were both
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Rounding the turn, into the front straight,
EMPIRE STATE checked across heels and raced wide. The
greyhound KULU OZZIE underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

start. Shortly after the start, GO
RUBY GO was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Through the first turn, UMBREON and NO VISA
were both tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. In the back
straight and KULU COPPER was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. |

Shortly after the start, CAPRA ROSS was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. Through the
first turn, MY BLU was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.
Entering the back straight, MR. BANKS improved onto the hind quarters of MY
BLU resulting in that greyhound to be checked and to lose ground. Approaching the turn, into the front
straight, MR BANKS and CAPRA ROSS collided, resulting in both greyhounds to
be checked and lose ground. The
greyhound MY BLU underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

HORSE AND HOUND 5th GRADE 520M Even start with the exception of I’M A HOT SHOT which was
marginally slow to begin. Approaching
the turn out of the front straight, SKETCHY JACK improved onto the heels of
DAZE LIKE THESE resulting in that greyhound to be checked and to lose
ground. At the same time, NEWS STORY
was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back
straight, NEWS STORY and DAZE LIKE THESE were both tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. Entering the
back straight, DAZE LIKE THESE and BOGAN SECRET collided. |

the front straight, TEAM JARVIS was tightened for racing room, shifted out
and contacted the hindquarters of BOGAN DANCER, resulting in both greyhounds
to be severely checked and to lose considerable ground. The
greyhound TEAM JARVIS underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |
