Stewards Trial 1 |
The greyhound OH GOLLY GOSH performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m in a time of 30.55 and
was cleared on all tracks.
The greyhound BARCIA JEANES performed a
satisfactory steward’s trial over the distance of 520m in the time of 30.25 and
was cleared on all tracks.

satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 331m in the time of 19.57 and
was cleared on all tracks.
The greyhound BETTA BE QUICK performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 331m in the time of 19.38 and
was cleared on all tracks.

DOWNLOAD THE APP 5TH GRADE (1) 520M Even
start with the exception of CASH MAN which was marginally slow to begin and
JAYCEE’S LADY was slow to begin.
Shortly after the start, STAR RING, SULTAN OF RUM and SKETCHY JACK collided,
resulting in all greyhounds to be checked and to lose ground. Approaching the turn out of the front
straight, CASH MAN was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Entering the back straight,
CASH MAN was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. The greyhound
CASH MAN underwent a post race veterinary examination and found to have
suffered an injury to the off side hock and was stood down for a period of 14
days. Stewards
questioned trainer, Mr P Cauchi, in regards to the performance of CASH MAN,
in particular, Stewards had concerns that the greyhound may have eased
throughout various stages of the race. After considering all available
evidence, Stewards could not be comfortably satisfied that the greyhound had
offended under any rule, and gave it the benefit of the grave doubt. |

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD 5TH
GRADE (2) 520M Even start.
Shortly after the start, BRIGHTEST STAR, FAB JESSIE and MY GLORIOUS
GAL collided. Leaving the front
straight, BASHFUL CLOUD, ANNIE’S MAGIC, FAB JESSIE and MY GLORIOUS GAL were
all tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back
straight, KULU HIPSTER improved onto the hindquarters of SLICK GAMBLER,
resulting in that greyhound to checked, shift out and collide with ANNIE’S
MAGIC, resulting in both SLICK GAMBLER and ANNIE’S MAGIC to be severely
checked and to lose considerable ground. The greyhound ANNIE’S MAGIC underwent a post race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY 0-3 WINS 600M Even start
with the exception of BOGAN LEGEND and POET’S SOCIETY which were both
marginally slow to begin. Approaching
the turn into the front straight on the first occasion, KULU COSMO, KULU
TUPPENCE, KULU CHANCE, WAZZA QUEEN, BOGAN LEGEND and POET’S SOCIETY all
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground with POET’S SOCIETY losing
considerable ground. KULU COSMO and
POET’S SOCIETY collided entering the front straight on the final
occasion. The greyhound

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB 5TH GRADE (1) 395M DOLLAR AND CENT and LITTLE LIVEWIRE were best to
begin. TOEY GAMBLER was marginally
slow to begin. Shortly after the
start, OWN GOAL, TINY TIARA and REGAL TRAV collided. Leaving the back straight, DOLLAR AND CENT
was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight,
OWN GOAL was tightened for racing room was checked and lost ground. |

straight, BOGAN SECRET and BUDDY TOKAAM collided on a number of occasions,
resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. |

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 5TH GRADE (3) 520M Even start with the exception of HAY CYNDIE, WHO IT IS
and PITTSBURGH PHIL which were all marginally slow to begin. Leaving the front straight, RUN KAY RUN was
tightened for racing room, severely checked and fell and took no further
competitive part in the race. HAY
CYNDIE and INDIAN GIVER, which were trailing, were checked as a consequence
and lost ground. In the front
straight, during the later stages of the race, HAY CYNDIE turned its head and
marred the running of PITTSBURGH PHIL.
The greyhound RUN KAY RUN underwent a post race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards advised trainer, Mrs C Elson, that the greyhound
HAY CYNDIE would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 2nd offence, 3
months plus a satisfactory stewards trial 520m all tracks. |

Leaving the front straight, LOVED UP and BIKINI CLOUD collided on a
number of occasions. Approaching the

tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight,
PRATER’S PROMISE was tightened for race room, checked and lost ground. The greyhound PRATER’S PROMISE underwent a post race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

for racing room of DONNY’S BEACH, resulting in all greyhounds to lose
ground. REGAL CYNDIE which was racing
to the outside of DONNY’S BEACH was checked as a result of this incident and
lost ground. |

Leaving the back straight, MEMPHIS improved onto the hind quarters of
EBONY SANDS, resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and to lose
ground. Rounding the turn into the
front straight, NIGHT TERROR and FOLLOW THE DUK collided, resulting in NIGHT
TERROR to be checked and to lose ground.
In the front straight, STAR BILLING, INTERACTION and NO SHOW JONES
raced tight, resulting in all greyhounds to be checked and to lose ground. |
